i dont know about other people opinions. i am a Sarun fan and i love and support both in their respective career decisions. having said that i admit i am disappointed by the fact that sanaya's potential is going to waste in this show.i tried to watch chanchan but there was never anything in there which would force me to watch till the end and eventually i stopped watching. does that mean i dont love sanaya? ofcourse not!! i love her and have immense respect for her but at the same time i am worried about her role in chanchan as a true fan of hers.

the part about moving on well i myself wrote a post few days back answering those people who say move on from IPK. i said give us a couple like Arhi and we will move on. its not about smothering sarun with our love its about the fact that IPK was such an enigma that people dont even want to move on. but that does not mena they dont support sarun in their other ventures. i have many friends who are diehard ipk pankhies but they are still watching chanchan only for sanaya.

so my point is you cannot ask someone to move on from perfection which was ipk. and i bet everything that the day it is announced that sarun are coming back in a new show there will be such a frenzt which will astound many people

I am sorry Rima,

I have to disagree with a few points here. There is no denying that the show has flaws. Yes there are some people who behave as if all the people who criticize are not well wishers. But there are some others too who don't.

Many behave they are Sanaya's guardian angels and want to shoo away all Sarun fans or even Barun fans from the forum.

Aren't the people who are criticizing the show in an extreme manner since the last couple of days doing the same thing too by claiming they know Sanaya is unhappy and they know what's best for her? Aren't they behaving like guardian angels too?

The other forum doesn't have too many members. The maximum likes you see on a post don't exact 30-40. I disagree that all fans were supporting unhealthily, some were pointing out flaws in healthy manner and are still doing it now.

Yes, some people don't understand why Sarun fans are so attached and make fun of it.

But do you seriously think all Sanuj fans are Sarun haters.

Fortunately, I have been interacted with several members of every fan group. There are a few Sanuj fans too who normal Sanaya fans. I have a friend who was not an active member on IPK forum. She liked the old pair (the one before IPK), she liked and still likes Sarun and now she likes the new pair and the new actor too. Can you blame her for that?

She isn't blind to the flaws of the show, she doesn't support Sarun bashing but she also can't understand the hatred toward towards the new pair and everybody who likes them.

Rima, you have been mocked/bashed in the past by people simply because you opposed their POVs in the past. You were tagged as a Sanaya hater for supporting Barun when he needed support. Even now many people doubt your allegiance towards Sanaya.

I am in the exact place where you were months ago. Apparently I am fake Sarun fan.

Fari can I tell you what makes me say thigs daringly

it is my faith in what is right

and what is true

So do I care who thinks I am a true sanaya fan or not

in this forum I was known always as a sanaya and khushi fan

check my birthday thread for this

but supporting barun made me a barun fan?

it made me a human being defending another human being

today what I see in that forum is sometimes blatant insult to people who loved her old show and the old hero

they treat us like untouchables

not all

I know the names of those who don't

there are many genuine lovers of the show

but many behave as if barun and sarun name is tainted

which makes me furious

who gave them the right to judge sarun fans when they make the same mistake of shipping a pair that too in a month?

fari at the end of the day speak your mind

no doubt about it

but see if the cause is justified

if you feel so go ahead

I felt defending barun was needed

he was inhumanly bashed

so I took it up

if I found he was at fault for having bashed people or things

I wouldn't have

Rima just like you, I do what I feel is right.

Can you not see what you and I are seeing and expecting from the show is TOTALLY different from what many others are doing?

Can you not see the difference that for some people it's not about the betterment of the show and Sanaya's career?

It is about Sanaya's personal life and what they think about it and about they want Sanaya to lead her life? Can you not see that is main reason for a many people?

Some people that I respect very much based on their posts in the last 2 years on on IF have put forward some very interesting opinions. Now I want to add mine. We are all individuals with different perspectives.

I would NEVER IN A MILLION years watch any soap...that I discovered IPKKND and then fell in love with it is astounding in itself. I started to watch CC only for SI and was hoping that the show will be worth my time and expected so...because SI and Supriyaji are a powerhouse and I loved the movie Khubsurat on which this was supposed to be based.

After watching it religiously until the time FK was ousted, I faltered..mostly because I found the show mediocre and without a consistent story. The show appeared to be having an identity crisis...what was it...a typical Saas Bahu or a Social issues show or a young love story...there was no story and execution had gone haywire and SI's immense talent was not being tapped.

Once the new actor...entered...you can't suddenly pronounce them as having chemistry and keep showing them in various intimate scenes without the story line and emotional buildup and declare that anyone who is not buying is a SARUN fan who hates for SI to move on etc.

I do not care what kind of a fan I am classified, but I am not buying this show's premise that suddenly a love story developed here in this saas bahu story without any foundation just because some 10-20 people decided they liked this jodi doing rain drenched dances and want more of that. IF the channel and PH continue with that premise...its a free country...people who love it should watch but please please do not force the rest of us to rave about it.
