he is a spineless man.It was so annoying when he turned mommy's boy after the marriage. I was so irritated on him when he accused Khushi after the kidnapping and scolded payal to support Khushi.
and you are right, he basically did nothing to convince his mom for the marriage. Arnav did all for him,.
Really the weakest character of IPK. Poor Akshay, no wonder, why he wanted to quit.
