barun said something that has started to really get its point across... he was the last person who could afford to not like asr... if he found something not likeable in asr he had to make sure that it felt likeable. in doing this, he gave what might have become a flat boorish extreme but unexamined character, an incredible depth, layer, and human like contrariness... a believable love you hate you... one minute mad at her, but at the same time wanting her crazily, and also wanting to protect and take care of her. that bachaini ramble of his... ufff... only barun, right? what was that in his voice... can't think of any other actor pulling that off... a man losing himself, desperately longing, upset angry and helpless and so many other things. all while standing still and saying a few lines with minimum movement and understated modulation... i die.

your last bit on rajkumar and how this is not mission get rajkumari back... i so so so agree with. this is battle unto death.. he has no clear plan of winning her over... he never did at this stage, yes when nk appeared, he was jealous and strategised somewhat, but at this point i feel he has come nowhere near the woird "love" that which he has shunned so many years. it's this uncontrollable desire, this getting under the skin, this junoon, and he has no idea what to do with it. every time he thinks he has found some control, it slips away, and all his anger goes and falls on her, yet that wanting that needing... man in mortal combat. it's either him or her...

loved that last line... if only kkg would learn to behave the way asr deems she ought to. 🤣
