At the RM, the Raizadas are doing pooja'minus arnav, akash and mama but plus shyam😆😆😆'they are doing pooja all happy but shyam looked irritated like why am I here for this torture or maybe constipated (it was a weird facial expression)'😆😆😆but la and anji look really pretty'.the scene shifts to the GH'where the guptas are performing Diwali pooja'everyone in the family is doing the round round'payal and khushi helped shashi do aarti'and that was the sweetest thing I ever saw'after the pooja the gupta sisters but shashi in bed and payal asked why khushi is going to the RM'khushi replies saying that Anjali was so sweet to give her the Devi Maiya murti for the peace of the family that she has to go'she prays for her dad and she presses her hand to the murti..she tells her dad bye and she was like oh look I am learning things everyday (that means la is rubbing off on her)'she tells them that she will come back'in the living room/dining room khushi is packing sweets with payal's help and she asked why is she bring so many sweets'khushi said that she did not give the Raizadas anything so I must bring all these sweets'she tells payal to hand her the box that is different because it is for arnav'she catches herself from speaking her feelings and saved the day saying because he can't have sugar (I was like girl stopping fooling yourself you care for him why else would you made sweets separately for him)

not only care, she loves him like crazy.

At the RM, la's friends come'pam is there'idk who the other two are and don't care'they see la and was like OMG you're in a sari and that too holding a diya'la was like heck ya (her face said it all)'they do their weird hellos'and mami was like what was that'and everyone elese was like whatever'My reaction was more like mami'La introduces her friends to the family'and that was a fail because they said hi and extended their hands to nani'nani said Namaste (and was thinking smh)'mami said hello hi bye bye..and Anjam was like hi'and la takes her friends off to see the house'mami was like her friends are strange (I agree)'Anjali sees OP and tells him not to put pineapples in the halwa (I think he should)'khushi enters the door and shyam is like OH NO!!!! Anjali was like hold on you must see khushi'shyam was like I have some work'Anjali stops him from leaving'and khushi is telling op about the sweets and what to do with them'Anjali tells khushi to hurry up a few time because she is dying for her hubby to see khushi'Shyam drops the gift in his hand'Anjali bends down to pick it up and rushes out (hit and miss number 1000)'Anjali gets the box and looks for shyam and noticed she is gone'Khushi finishes her talks with OP and she wishes mami ji and she gives her usual'.she wishes nani too and Anjali (where is Arnav???)

In the kitchen, Shyam is trying to figure out how to avoid seeing khushi'OP then tells him that this dish does not have pineapple'a light bulb went off and shyam said that I have to make my self sick so I cannot see khushi'he then eats the pineapple wale dish and starts sneezing (okay I thought food allergies causes like rash or face swelling'but not instantaneous sneezing'this show sometimes)'good catch. IPK is full of bloopers.OP was like OH NO you ate the wrong one'shyam was like why did you not tell he earlier (uh he did and you even acknowledged him'smh)'then anjali comes and asked what happened'OP said that I told him not to eat that one but he did anyways (in my mind OP is sassy) and Anjali was like forget (I sense some anger)

La tells her friends to take off her shoes in the mandir and they where like hell to the no (not really but might as well said that with their attitude)'La was like we shoud repespect her and she does not want to hurt her'then they see laxmi and they make a comment on her'la picks up laxmi and said go to nani's room'la was like laxmi is sweet'Then they make fun of nani's'and La was like ENOUGH and argues back'.her friends call her a behen ji'la was like knowing tradition and making the family happy a behen ji (Standing Ovation for LA!!!!)'her friends leave angrily'Oh yeah'nani and khushi were watching this'nani congratulates khushi for changing la'and khushi hugs la for being awesome' La tells khushi that their sarees got switched and the red on is Arniekin's favorite color'khushi feel bad and la said she looks pretty

The scene shifts to Khushi lighting the diyas in a pretty design'cue the breeze and RABBA VEY'Arnav is just mesmerized (and I am mesmerized by him!!!)'once khushi was done she notices arnav and they stare at each other'RABBA VEY'La comes by to break the eye lock and tells her to be careful because she is trapped by diyas'Arnav is now concerned'la said she has to put oil in the diyas and asks arnav to help her'Khushi's eyes widen'After la leaves'arnav begins to walk through the diyas and now standing where khushi is'Rabba Vey!!!! This scene was so dreamy'will arnav get khushi out of the maze of diyas?!?!?!?!?!

Beautiful Indi!! you really know how to get into my man psyche! your insight about Khushi's parting being similar to his mom's parting is brilliant. Maybe that why he is so terrified is he doesn't want to feel that way again. one of my fav moments comes later at the GH where he held her hand through the night and when she tries to gently pull away, we have this same reaction. So much fear and vulnerability hides behind this Arnav Singh Raizada...just lovely and so real too. All men, as manly as they come must have a weakness like this...unless he's a man with :no conscious" (your words:) like Shyaam.

And about that sweet habit of his, how cute was his expressions when she said that?? I remember when he threw that calender on the ground after Anjali caught him looking at the pics, its howi put a bag of chips down when guilt kicks in😆 bad habits break hard...or in his and my case never!

BTW, amazing edits of hotwa sleeping and hotwa's startled face as he wakes up from his sleep👏

i am committed to being shallow. tired of deep. so abs lau your "can't help." that haircut was an artist's muse. did ya see the widow's peak, the tapered point at the back like someone drew his hairline with a calligraphy pen, in a happy sort of mood? and that cropped down to a 1 fuzz at the nape? how it threw his forehead in relief and enhanced the lines of that and also the jaws, right down to the neck. and the ears clearly etched out (ok sticking out, mmm), translucent upper pinna. just so i could enrich my existence, i went and looked up the lobe thanks to hair cut and your post and i can happily admit i am fascinated by his scapha, helix, and anti-helix... all parts of ear lobe, so no sniggering 😆, all you out there. i hope these words stay in my memory forever, at least my shallowness would be of some use.

use or no use, here's to surface deep and nothing else. yes, diwali will be as much remembered for the uff emotions and red hot desire as for that haircut that left us breathless and sometimes just dead.

he's sleeping, it's early morning... and "aaj se hi tum meri zindagi sa nikal jao..." his words to her play back, leave my life from this very day... she's walking away... he's on the other side of the temple, leaving her. forever.

eyes open, he starts and jumps up... "khushi?" again that different cadence to a name. today it's a question, a first thought, a where are you? she's so on his mind. all that go away forever yet the heart doesn't listen. in your sleep the truth is clear.

and it's di yelling at him, her little bhai dooj drama. rather sweet.

"di, what the hell," (aw the "hell").

but to go back to that dream, this has happened before. the day she'd told him in a closed, stirred storeroom that she was leaving for lucknow, forever. hamesha ke liye. perhaps the first time hamesha had entered their moment.

episode 118 started on a note echoing the one we we ended 47 on:

he lay there in deep sleep. then her voice. she's going... forever. no, you can't go like that... khushi, khushiii.

he jerked up and sat upright in bed. shallow erratic breathing.
why do i feel you in the pit of my stomach. why do i want to go where you lead me. listen to me, will you?
That was one mesmerizing moment, when he said that
Khushi" waking up in his bed, I thought it was his first confession! What a brilliant connection you have brought these both scenes together!

doesn't he, like many of us, take his innermost thoughts and fears and desires to his dreams, his nightmares? that recurrent memory of di's wedding day, a woman running, shehnai, and "maaa." the thought of separation from the one most loved. his mother. haunts his sleep often.

and now at the mere thought of being separated from khushi, the fear laced with a wish, a want, a need is stalking him behind closed eyes. i felt at some place the sudden loss of ma and the sense of parting with khushi had a similar sensation. not consciously or clearly. but both felt like a terrifying terrible thing. the intensity of losing his mother is no doubt much keener, but the emotions evoked by the two partings are alike.

without our knowing, sometimes people become more extremely important to us. they become part of life. habit. even when we tell them to go away and never show face, we think that's not going to happen, they'll always be there. hamesha. then the dream shows otherwise. with ma, he knows there's no hope, she's gone. but with khushi?

"khushi bitiya agar aadat hai, toh hum aisan umeed karat hai ki aisan acchhi aadat harek ko pade..." nani is wise and her sentence: if khushi is a habit, then may everyone get a habit like this... a sweet hint from writers that someone is becoming someone's habit.

and like all good habit owners, he is trying his best to kick it... failing miserably. looking more and more angry. now if a grown man didn't look so cute disgruntled and rude with a red tika and stubble,

!So true, that red tika was looking very good on him

might have been easy not to let such an aadat form.

"enough di, please..." an outburst. "stop it... bahut ho gaya khushi khushi... why don't you guys understand ki woh ja chuki hai..." how he rants... she's gone, why don't you guys get it...

too much protest? all taken aback.

then di's words chill him to his gut. sometimes you don't know whom you're meeting for the last time and after they leave you realise how wrong you were.

he stands there riveted to that thought. di storms out, her anger is real this time, the others leave too.at last he can close his eyes, swallow...

in the meantime, khushi has decided to start teaching kids maths and hindi and earn some money. di and gang have mounted a campaign to bring her back to rm. and akashji has come to lakshminagar to acquire a gift for di... for next year's bhai dooj. payalji.

bhaji gali love, done.
diya stall love, done.
now auto rikshaw love. while the other two are doing suv hate.

nice contrast, creatives. the sweet love and the khadoos killer type love. no need to guess which is clearly aspirational, unless of course you have a thing for three wheelers. have to say, the auto driver's brusque get on with it was funny.

khushi has been tricked into returning to rm. her three champs are doing their "sab darama" to convince her, while mamiji wonders what the. khushi enters and naniji and la start.

360 degree pans as the two women scream and "fight." a mysterious "galati," mistake, it's cause. so what is the problem, a harried, concerned khushi asks, which book does la know nothing about?

di says, bhagwat gita... nani says, ram charit manas. to cover up the faux pas, nani yells, even mano baby knows it... "aur toh aur manorama ko bhi ee sab ka gyan hai..." manorama is ready to pass out at this... "humka?" me? she clearly knows nothing. another insight into the raizada essential tolerance and open mindedness, despite all the daughters in law need to know this and that talk and the endless poojas and festivals. a place for new thought and different ways exists here.

Indeed. Nani herself was a protagonist for a MIL, one of the most progressive, fun loving and considerate MIL in tellyland..a rare commodity that almost fully justifies he choosing her last name...only that he thought he could change his own destiny as he changed his last name at will! great wonderment and admiration for how even things were taken care initially that added so much substance to the characters and the story!

somewhere a recognition of each to his own. a little irritation, leg pulling, discord amongst fam members every now and then, but no real interference with ones right to be who they want to be. sadly la seemed to have pressed all the wrong buttions, not just one, and so this stringent "get with the programme" regimen she had to go through. but even that was made easier once nani sensed there was a good, wholesome, loving girl in there somewhere.

a lovely imbroglio, set up to get madam khushi dream stalker back. well written, well acted, dum (kick) in it.

finally mami gets it. phew.

as khushi goes to get some oil for the lamp, the music, feelings, where is he, thank g he isn't around. really?

"where the hell is my..." storm strides in. stops. just like that other day, when he knew she was here and how he'd shouted even then. rakhi.

bhai dooj today. sisters brothers and their love and hopes for the each other, on two days significant for this relationship, a sister's wish for her brother seems to be coming closer.

she was walking along light and happy, when that wind got to her too.

Episode-119

The gentle breeze along with the mehsoos triggers his sixth sense. It is premonishing him her presence. But how can she be here! they already capitulated not to face each other again. He brushes away his feelings and barges at HP, "Where is my Singhania file?" He goes to his room, checks his closet, but when he still can't find it he descends down and asks HP for di. He tells him that she is in the kitchen. Poor HP tries to impress his master by giving him the info about lavanya. Hearing la's name Arnav exasperated even more.How poor servant will now he doesn't want to know about La!

when Khushi can't find the oil anywhere in the kitchen she climbs the counter top to get the oil from a higher shelf. Arnav storms in the kitchen, "where is my file?" Khushi jerks hearing his holler. When she turns, she falls and Arnav catches her instantly. He holds her in his arm securely. They lost in each other for some moment forgetting the rest of the world. Isn't she looking just perfect in his arm? (pause: I must say Khushi's body is perfectly molded to fit in Arnav's arm. Never saw any girl look so perfect in a man's arm.) When Arnav remembers their "not to see each other" promise, he comes back to his trance and asks her grimly, "what are you doing here?"

Khushi- woh lanvanyaji

he doesn't let her finish- did i tell you don't show your face again?

Khushi -if you leave me, then I can

He understands that he is still holding her in his arm. Oh my sexy boy, doesn't want to let his girl go! He puts her down smoothly, as if he was enjoying her close proximity. His sensuous touch must shudders Khushi.

He starts his prosecution- why did you come here?

Khushi also emulates him- see, I also don't have a wish to show you my face.

Arnav starts to lacerate her with his excruciating words- phir bhi yaha mere ghar mein mere samne khadi ho. kal tumne kaha tha na mere ghar mein wapas nahi aogi.ab kya hua? jitne baar tum he yeh ghar se nikalo tum wapas ahi jati ho .

translation: again you are standing here in my house in front of me. you told yesterday that you will not gonna come to my house again? now what happened? how many times I get you out from this house, you returns back.

Khushi intends to talk, but he doesn't let her and start to vex her again- what stupid reason you have now? sometimes La calls, sometimes di. all are lies.

he says with a big grin on his face- you must made some excuse to get in this house again.

Khushi tries to defend her- jab ap jawab sun na nahi chahte hei, tab sawal kiyu karte hai?

translation: if you don't want to listen the answer, then why do you ask question?

He now moves to her, what makes her step back involuntarily. he resumes- don't think that you will get more money from this house.

Khushi gets terribly sad this time- why do you bring money always?

Arnav refutes- cause I know you

He can't finish when Anajli intervenes- Don't talk like this chote. she came here to help us. you should think how other can feel when you talk like this? I always try to make you understand. But you? Let it be. Khushiji agreed to help us in one condition this time that she will not take money in return.

There is a guilt feel is very evident in his face.But Khushi can't look in his eyes. She looks down, may be doesn't want to see her Arnavji's guilty face.

Anjali continues- She is earning money by tutoring the kids.She just came here to help us.Neither she is working for you nor for me.Do you understand?

Good job Anjali. your little brother has become really bettameez. from now on you should scold him more.

Arnav is in compunction now. he is feeling guilty.

Anjali tells khushi to come as La is waiting for her.When Khushi turns to go Arnav calls her- Khushi stop, I need to talk to you. Khushi doesn't let him continue and intends to go again.

Arnav gets infuriated- didn't you hear that I need to talk to you?

Khushi turns- tell, what do you want to say? may be you want to insult me more.

Arnav gets frantic again. he yelps- enough.

He seems in contrition. He tries to meliorate the situation- It happens whenever we talk. So it's better, from now on neither I will talk to you nor you will talk to me.You come here, do whatever you want to do, but don't talk to me.It will be good for both you and me. there will be no question of arguments also.

Khushi also agrees and avows- Alright, you also stay away from me. It will be good for me too.

both are perturbed.

pause: gosh I guffawed at their vows. How many times they promised not to see each other, but never can keep it. I think they make promises to break it.

Khushi bids bye to Anjali and La. La requests her wistfully to come on the next day also. But khushi admonishes. She tells her that Anjali can help her. But La still insists. Anjali is scared that she may not be able to help La as she will be busy. Or if La makes mistakes again nani will be mad at her. Anjali beckons nani. Nani comes to add the drama and scolds La again.

Anjali gets incredulous, if nani denies again to accept La! La also requests Khushi ardently, "plz chamkili, stay with me to boost up my moral support."

Khushi agrees in resentment to come for few more days.

When khushi left La and Anjali exults their victory. they are concocting to refrain khushi till the engagement.

Shyam gets furious to hear that Khushi will keep coming in the house. Anjali tries to make him understand that Arnav agreed o marry La because of her, so all of them wants her to be there on the special day. When shyam still is indignant, Anjali gets upset. Shyam understands that he over reacted. So he tries to meliorate and make Anjali understand that if Khushi keeps come to the house Arnav will get mad and can call off the wedding. Anjali gets sad, "nothing will happen like this." she is precarious," why everybody is so upset with khushiji?" shyam thinks that his drama didn't work, so he needs to find some other way.

pause: Shyam unknowingly told the truth that if Khushi keeps coming in RM arnav may call off the engagement. That surely happened, not because Arnav is mad at khushi but because Arnav's love for Khushi became irresistible.

Khushi is teaching an unruly kid named Barun who is just a shadow of ASR who doesn't apologize to anybody. Like Arnav he also pushed a girl down. Khushi couldn't teach the old kid a lesson, but she teaches the little kid that one will not dwindle less if he says sorry to a person and it's very pleasurable to make others happy. She mutters, "don't be another Arnav singh Raizada when you will grow up. One Laad Governor is enough for this world." Gosh she is always preoccupied with LG's thought, how can she forget him!

Shyam wants to talk to khushi. He charges Khushi for going to RM. Khushi tries to defend herself. But he is frustrated. He accuses her that she went there for the sake of money.How dare he! Khushi gets terribly upset with his words, "I'm tired of making people understand that don't measure everything with money. First Laad governor, then you also. I'm going there to help Lavanyaji, cause I'm very much responsible for the marriage." Shyam understands that he did wrong. He apologizes to her and asks her if she is ok or not. Khushi assures him that he doesn't need to be worry for her. she thinks, what she is doing is right. when she left Shyam gets perturbed. he got a phone call from Anjali. So he takes off the ring and ready to conduct for another segment of his deceptive play.

Khushi landed in Arnav's arm in the sheesh mahal, the footage comes on the TV again. no other family member but arnav watches it on the TV. The repercussion takes him to their first encounter in sheesh mahal. The host of the show mocks that, everybody thought she is the girl of his life. Arnav convulsed and intends to turn off the TV. La comes and watches the news and gets excited. She fortunately missed Khsuhi's part and sees the guy is giving the news of her engagement with Arnav. She gets happy that she is marrying ASR and starts to praise Khushi that, she changed her perception about marriage. She thinks everything was possible because of her.When she starts to applaud her ethics and principles, arnav gets infuriated, "enough Lavanya, I'm marrying you, not Khushi's principles." He leaves in exasperation.That news reporter already made arnav irritated, Lavanya's accolade about Khushi made Arnav irascible more.

pause: I wonder, why all of them only watches the funny Kamlesh Kabri's sarcastic jibes!

Khushi is pensive lying beside Payal snuggling the pillow. When Payals starts to talk She pretends to sleep. But her big sis knows she is tensed. so she plays a little prank with her reminiscing their old good times. She tickles her to get her up. Khushi gets jovial and joins her sis also. Payal knows she is upset as buaji fixed her marriage in haste. She suggests her to go with her heart and affirms her that she will support her always. such a caring big sis.I really love this sibling bond.
