There are actually many such moments which IPK different.. One of my favorites is that when khushi accepts arnav as her husband and she is angry at aranv for scaring her, she tries to hit him and then arnav pulls and hugs her, 'she tries to let go' which I have never ever seen in any romantic serial!!!! Even after a tough fyt in any other serial they ll give normal hugs but IPK.. NO WAY!! I LOVE IPKKND!! Every moment of it!!!😃

I had not watched the earlier episodes and when you watch only on the TV you do not get hooked to any show. I think I got hooked once I started watching it online.
The scene that made me realize it was different was actually when Khushi started working in his office. I was a Gopi bahu and Suhana fan and it meant I thought SP bahus do not know how to type and hold a office job well. I was impressed that Khushi actually took her cellphone and recorded his letter and typed it and gave it back to him. I found her actions very much professional. She wore appropriately. What I mean was what La and gang were wearing is not an attire for office it is for a party. As if they came to the office not for work but to attract people to them.
I also liked how she stood up to him and asked him that you have to give me an appropriate reason for dismissal. She was not coy and she was not overbearing. She made you listen to her. Now let me state that at that point I was hooked to Khushi and I did not even know her name then and did not even know that she was the lead. In indian shows usually the most well dressed and the prettiest one is a lead and so I was thinking this girl has to be the lead not Anjali or Lavanya. OK I by the way had guessed that Arnav was the lead.
If you remember correctly in that scene Khushi had paint all over her cloths. Guess I had not even seen the previous episodes so did not even know the paint was from Arnav making her fall from the top.
So that probably was the reason also that I loved Khushi with her simple cloths. She looked gorgeous of course when she dressed up but the simple outfits she wore so many times were more my Khushi then ones who wore a saree only once in the entire soap.

That comes the first instance. But I found always three things that were different in IPK. First was Anjali and Arnav relationship. She was always nice and taking care of him even after her marriage he came first. I liked that the siblings duo loved each other and that did not mean that they loved their spouses any less.
The second thing was actually the fact that Garima treated and loved Khushi. Whenever she was upset with Khushi even in the earlier episodes she herself would get even more upset. I loved how she was feeding Khushi from her plate when she was hurrying for work. It was very cute
The third thing was that the people in the family were all humans with normal anger and distress and no one was pure good or bad. And mostly the fact that they actually all communicated with each other.

I do not even have to say about ARSHI. Because they were Unique.

It was different from the starting itself...

How could I forget the scene that was most different-- Telepathy conversation during kidnapping and the dialogues.

Ooh i realized it immediately! In the episode 3...when they are at the peer baba's mazaar...

Exactly! Unlike the saas-bahu nonsense that is typical of most Indian soaps, this serial has a strong, spunky female lead (unlike the other Indian soaps where the females are portrayed as weak). and a fierce, powerful male! The contrast between their natures, their constant battles, it all makes IPK different and fresh. And the chemistry, oh Lord, it freezes up the heart, Barun and Sanaya just light up the skies with their fire-igniting chemistry!

The first time I realised something different was after Payal's marriage broke and kushi comes home and is scolded badly by her mum and she goes out and takes the oil can..in all shows we would fear that she would try to comit suicide but here they turned it totally hilarious with her making jalebis,...It was Epic!😃
