Barun is not at fault for the show ending. He did not ask for it. He just left on his own will and I don't find that selfish at all. His own costars do not hold this against him and I find it highly amusing that you do.

He may be a confusing person, but that isn't a crime. And do you know him personally to call him self centered? Maybe the people who were talking about him really did misunderstand him. Were you there at the time to say otherwise? If so please give me the details. And please, the immature way in which you criticise does not really encourage me to believe your source.

Btw if you all think he was so selfish to not feel any remorse for the show ending, again, he did not ask for all his fans to call and end the show. He is probably getting a lot of hate already and it's human to feel defensive after you haven't even committed a crime. The worst he's done is not being straightforward, and while I feel that he could have been much more honest, I think he's getting way too much hate than he deserves. One does not have to say that they are remorseful to feel it, and I cannot believe that you all are assuming this from one small written interview.

I honestly am so sick and tired of Barun and his antics, which is why I have stayed away from IPK forum for almost a month now ..!

All I can say about the interview is.. some of us guessed right. We knew he had a movie. I can excuse the fact that he lied earlier to say he had no movie offers, maybe that's 'coz he was asked not to say anything then. That's fine. I had nothing against him going for a movie .. or quitting TV to do a movie. It's his life, it's his choice. Do I agree with that choice? No. I think its stupid, but its his life and his mistake to make .. or his luck to try out!

That said, I must say that I would have been proud of him, had he admitted that he had a huge part to play in the fact that the show shut down, instead of saying that he shouldn't justify his decision, which again he did over and over again in that interview .. justifying why his break was necessary ! Those fans who thought they understood his pain guessed wrong because he made it clear that only one person understood him!

I was very disappointed when he said in a previous interview that he was glad he wasn't shooting with his co-stars .. and then this interview has made me utterly disappointed in this actor. I would say hate, but then that is a strong word. I don't know the guy or the reasons why he says the things (he shouldn't) say!
I can never make out if he has bad PR skills or whether he is plain arrogant!
But then again, I don't care much. I was never a Barun fan (yes I thought he was a good actor, again, back in the day) .. but I was a fan of Arnav back in the day!

👏 👏. @bold is spot on! Watched the re run of ITA last night, he won and on VM said " I CAN'T THANK ALL OF YOU"😲

e. He had pain in his eyes and his hair
f. He was going to be peniless after the show
g. Star Plua and Gul were in this together to discredit Barun
h. Sanya was unahppy too and had put in her papers to support Barun
i. And my personal favorite- Barun landed up on the sets on last of shoot, Gul didnt let him enter the sets

Can you please have the decency to tell us why you made up these stories, what did you achieve by planting such false stories? Where you so obsessed with Barun that you were willing to plant stories just to close a show without him in it?

2. And to the petition makers-
The last time I checked, its absolutely okay for a guy to quit and go for bigger things
however the last time I checked, its not okay to give an ultimatum in the name of sharing feedback
its not okay to ask for a show to be shut down just because one person quit
its not okay to instigate people to harass star and 4 lion employees
its not okay to say that Barun without a job matters, but 200 people without a job dont matter
its not okay to change your tunes as per the majority opinion

Now could you please clarify that since Barun does have a job and Sanaya and 200 other dont, do you feel regret or are you happy with your efforts?

About the petition thing

Da last time I checked da fans have every rights to voice dere demands abt dere favourite show...Its just not abt 1 person quiting...it was abt da show and da couple ppl loved

Da last time I checked when da consumers r not happy abt a product dey r allowed to complain to da producers

Da last time I checked nobody said anything abt Barun's job or anyone's job...coz dat was simply not our respnsibility...Barun has gained a new job...dat has been announced in da media openly coz he is da celebrity...can sum1 tell me dat why r dey so sure any1 from dose 200 ppl r not gaining any jobs??...I mean isnt da television industry suposed to run like dat??...shows goes off air n all da ppl again gets dere hand in sum oder place as new shows r launched as well

To da answer of ur last question...sanaya does have offers...she said she is reweighing dem..she is a talented actress...she will have a finer job in her hands soon...abt dose 200 ppl..again I am asking...r u sure each of dem r siting idle??...Most of da actors already put down dere papers before da shw ended...remaining side actors would have met dificulty in finding jobs even if da sow ended after 2 years or so...Uthkarsha Naik already plays sum roles in oder shows...buaji n gupta family were not even shown fr months.Abhaas was out already.mamaji n laxmi dispaeared...Arav apeared fr a few days only...remains Daljeet n naniji n Karan...I do feel sorry for dem..hope dey gets a job as well...Karan have a show in colours I gues...as for prakash brothers,I think dey were speciality of IPKKND...dont know if I have missed out on any actors...my point was...Barun geting a job doesnt make him a vulnerable target or it doesnt make him da main culprit in da balme game

Having said all dese...well...I have no regrets dat da show shut down..I didnt make a single call but I did support da members who did...I mite have no regrets coz I did nothing rong but I am immensely hurt dat da show shut down...coz I loved da show..I loved da couple...but we were given no options...It wasnt abt jobs n actors for us...how can it be??...we r audiences...It was all about what we were promised as viewers...It mite have been abt Barun for Barun phangirls but for majority it was about the essence of da show dey loved...what would have hapened if da show continued??...Da original fans would be heartbroken and da show would die a painful death...at da end everybody will have a bad taste at da bak of dere mouth...da show would eventually shut down wid low trp's...and dese r da facts..I am not making up da verdict...it has hapened wid every famous love storie dramas earlier in tv...so yeah I mite not be happy wid my efforts coz it did snatch away my pleasure of watching IPKKND everyday but I dont regret it as well...we should regret n repent n justify for sumthing we did rong...not for sth we had to do duo to da crucial situation...Dese r da musings of a Barun phangirl who feels it is very much offending to make an opinion abt a person u barely know n to question da fangroup of an actor...Although I did justify my action but I dont feel any1 should have to do it...or else dere r loads of justification fr oder ppl to give as well...no offense

Oh not to mention on how those of you have mentioned that Sanaya is now jobless, she has many offers lined up that she could take. It's her own decision if she wants to and she herself said it. Please don't even pay the pity game here. And those 200 people who are jobless, any one of them could have found work by now. I hope that they will all find work very soon. Will you be saying this years from now?

I've read the interview several times. How do you know that he has done everything deceitfully? And maybe he was told not to reveal anything? Maybe he was receiving confusing cues as well?

Of course, you wouldn't even consider this because you just hate him so it's a waste even talking to you.

Yes he does need to be more honest with his fans but that was all that I think was needed to say. And above when you want me to go listen to his co stars interviews, um, I have. Sanaya, Akshay, and Abaas only had good things to say about him. Are you now calling them people who would actually bash their own costar?

And fine then lets end it here because we'll never agree.
