This is a bunch of people who have an unhealthy kind of obsession for an actor which has made them delusional .

Let's put aside the inability of said actor to express himself clearly, this post is about his mad phan base.

And the person above hit the nail on the head - they have an unhealthy obsession with ASR, played by BS. Now that obsession has transferred to BS and they constantly wet dream over him. Because they have never seen a man before they will defend their new toy to the death.

The conspiracy theorists have gone back to quiet mode because, well whats left to fight for? All the petitions, spamming nonsense is pointless. Barun and Sanaya are unlikely to be back together in a very, very, very, very long time, if ever. Barun has several movie projects and he has well and truly moved on. There is no doubt that these shenanigans will have cost him some of his potential fan base. He is simple in that he wants one simple thing: a relatively easy life spending time with his family (that's my opinion), but in getting that 'simple' thing one has to be shrewd and opportunistic. I won't criticise him for that, but am disappointed that he obviously didn't think much of the character and show which we all (at one point at least) invested viewing time and which brought him recognition that others would give their eyes for. His inability to be clear, despite the gag orders/NDA was just...facepalm.

But even that aside...

Can you hear the tumbleweed where once there were cries of "Poor Barun being bullied by Gul" blah blah blah? No one is around or is willing to explain themselves because to do that is tantamount to admitting the culpability of being deluded/gullible/conniving or just plain stupid. What is even more hilarious is that those same people have a defiant attitude in that they will NEVER admit their fault. If they do it won't be pretty for them.

So...it's well and truly over and what's annoying is that I will never receive a completely coherent response as to why the first Indian show I ever watched and liked imploded the way it did. In the end it's the viewers that stuck with the show, or those like me that were waiting for the story line to wow us again, that lose out...

What sucks is that I haven't found anything else with as charismatic a character as either ASR or KKG... :-(

It is some thing premeditated they only check the TM and the likes and come to a conclusion that the post is bashing Barun, It is quite silly how people act and how perceptions are formed.

A holy guide is needed for all the non droolers on how to treat barun and yes those rules will not apply to Gul as she is not a human.

Touche My friend. All this fiasco has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I planned to watch all the Arshi scenes after the show ended but now Im not having the interest at all. Dint watch even one scene of IPK after the show ended. Thanks to Mr.Sobti and his phangurls!

Sailing in the same boat I too now don't have any interest to rewatch the show...Eventhough I was rewatching for last 2 days.but after this interview I felt so disgusted that the entire interest had gone.because moment I saw him I get pissed off... For these reasons I dreaded his interviews nowadays...as his current interviews never failed to piss me off...

A very very well written post 👏 seriously made me log in to reply.

Finally I was happy reading the interview, bcoz now I have full confidence on my theory which I firmly believe " that people in the industry always works for money and no matter how much you love their character or give them fame, they will leave you the moment they see more money somewhere"

But I feel cheated, disappointed.
A little bit of truth would not have made much of difference to Sobti but he chose to be not truthful.

I prefer loyal and honest so I guess I have learnt my lessons and so have all of us.
Lets move on friends

NB.. was MIA from IF for a while.. so missed this post.

I haven't read the comments yet .. will get to it when I find some time!

I honestly am so sick and tired of Barun and his antics, which is why I have stayed away from IPK forum for almost a month now ..!

All I can say about the interview is.. some of us guessed right. We knew he had a movie. I can excuse the fact that he lied earlier to say he had no movie offers, maybe that's 'coz he was asked not to say anything then. That's fine. I had nothing against him going for a movie .. or quitting TV to do a movie. It's his life, it's his choice. Do I agree with that choice? No. I think its stupid, but its his life and his mistake to make .. or his luck to try out!

That said, I must say that I would have been proud of him, had he admitted that he had a huge part to play in the fact that the show shut down, instead of saying that he shouldn't justify his decision, which again he did over and over again in that interview .. justifying why his break was necessary ! Those fans who thought they understood his pain guessed wrong because he made it clear that only one person understood him!

I was very disappointed when he said in a previous interview that he was glad he wasn't shooting with his co-stars .. and then this interview has made me utterly disappointed in this actor. I would say hate, but then that is a strong word. I don't know the guy or the reasons why he says the things (he shouldn't) say!

I can never make out if he has bad PR skills or whether he is plain arrogant!

But then again, I don't care much. I was never a Barun fan (yes I thought he was a good actor, again, back in the day) .. but I was a fan of Arnav back in the day!

@ bold, do u think this is something to boast about or to be proud of for him or the likes of you? Well let me tell you it's actually a cowards way out as he didn't have the guts, intelligence or common sense to be truthful about his secret rendezvous to feather his own nest whilst giving two shits about the 200+ people he SIINGLE HANDED made redundant as well as his co actors who always supported him!

He is a very confused and confusing person who is extremely self centred, VERY ECONOMICAL WITH THE TRUTH and doesn't give a flying f**k about his so called fans! I have a source to back this up and that is his very own interview " my friends misunderstand" , well if he can say that about his friends, it makes sense he isn't give two hoots about fans that he has never really acknowledged or cared about!

Agree but if the communication of quitting was done in an ethical and responsible manner...
