- Trying something, realizing it is not working for oneself and giving it up to do something one likes is absolutely human. It cannot be done "from beginning" always. Let him make mistakes. Dont worry. He would not hold his fans and ask them why they allowed him to make this mistake.

If another serious actor wud hv been in his place. that actor wud give away his life after seeing that he is such a bIG star in TV industry.

- I would like to rephrase this as "If another worldly-wise person would have been his place..." He is a good actor. But probably he is not wise enough to survive in this world. Does it make him a bad human being?

Thts why barun says Tv is stable career.

- He does understand some basics. Doesnt he. Then why did he leave. Is he a fool? He left call center job (more stable than TV) to come to TV and now he is going to BW/ HW which is more riskier. But then it just says he is ready to take risks in life. Every risk comes with a probability of failure. But no pain, no gain.

The show should have ended naturally with all the cast but it was a forced closure that's why its more affecting

- Do you know that he was offered to stay back for just 2 months and he refused. What is your source? From what seems to have happened, the show was supposed to go on. He shot the death sequence and left. What more can he do?

11 years back a very big popular TV star left his No.1 show for cinema..And that time all people said go and chase ur dreams ,TV is boring, Films is ur place. Aftr this 11 years of harsh reality , he still struggles for his lost identity. History repeats'yes amar upadhyay was a heartthrob, good looks but now seen in telemarketing advertisements.

- If a person places before himself a history of failures when pursuing his ambition how will he have the courage to even try once? When Amar was encouraged 11 years back, why is Barun not encouraged now. Why cant a truly talented person be given the freedom to pursue his dreams. What fate has in store for him is his lot.

Loyalty to character is the only thing he can be questioned for. But what loyalty when all around you see actors coming and going out of characters. Why should he be stuck with something he doesnt have his heart on forever. Do we all stick to only one job however great that seems to others?

Lets not forget that all his previous shows have helped him in gaining the ASR role. Whether they themselves were hit/flop is not the point here. His acting was recognised and he got this role.

And the guy had enough professional conduct to take leave for 1 day for marriage ! Am sure he would have asked the PH and they didnt give him leave. Did he create ruckus?

A newly married guy who gets to spend very less time with his wife. He is getting amazing accolades at work but at home things are not so great. He wants to go on a vacation and the PH refuses to grant any more leave for whatever reason. He then decides to quit as he doesnt feel the urge any more to do this job. He wants to take a break and then decide what he wants to do in life. He wants to support his family and take care of them always.

-- Reading this, do you want to blame the person for leaving? Thats what Barun seems to be doing and so much criticism towards him !

Basher, bashing.. aah I am so tired of listening to these 2 terms. Its actually an way of having a different opinion than the others.

Rishy u forgot to mention BS past, when he quit another show at the last minute before jumping into IPK. Its very crucial to judge a kind of person he is.

The uncertainty in his interviews is indeed a clear indication of his fear in failing in the BW. If at all he had to try his luck in movies, he could have very well done that after a proper closure of the show. I strongly believe its because of BS, PH/Gul lost interest in the show. You need an actor who is sticking with you thick & strong, not an actor who is ready to quit any day. Producer needs to think how to plan for the future plots & not how to retain actors, its sad state of affairs unfortunately.

I do not support BS decision but this doesn't mean I am enforcing others to follow my decision blindly, each & every individual has a brain, to make their own decisions.

Barun acting with Sanaya again... umm.. I don't see that happening in another couple of years at the least.

Its the way BS conducted himself is more pathetic than the way he left the show, no proper statements, nothing. His personal life may have been going through issues or he may have been having issues with PH but that doesn't mean he can ignore the fans of the show.

BS is famous for playing ASR and not vice versa. Its a one time show which could have gathered so much fame, still he dumped it. People are going to constantly question about his commitment even if he decides to return back to TV industry. Its not going to be easy way back into a good story.

I so don't wanna judge the guy, but it can't be helped...you made some valid points, quite a few of which I'm sure have crossed most of our minds at some point in the last few months.

I just hope it all works out for him and everyone that was connected to this show. What's done is done and ab toh bas usse sochna hi hoga ke aane wala kal ko kaise sudhaarega...lotsa introspection for everyone, it seems.
