Did Gul and team make ASR or was it Barun?

barun made ASR appear alive and magical, true that gul envisioned ASR but it is barun, in my opinion, who gets the credit. His facial expressions, his eyes and his ability to carry out a conversation without even speaking...now that person deserves the credit 👏

The team (Gul, creatives, director etc. etc) made ASR and Barun made ASR magical.

Both are responsible.
Gul and team created an excellent character on paper and Barun gave a face and more importantly a life to the character.by his brilliant acting he brought out the vulnerability in ASR very well, and thats why people fell in love with ASR.

The question is not Barun was a Star the question is about acting.

You are talking about the popularity.

And if Barun would not have been a good actor 1st the makers would not have taken him in IPK.

And even if one says its all makers who made ASR then it was Barun who lived the character,who brought out whats written on papers.

Barun is a good actor thats why he got 2 movies.

I think you have not seen BHPH so before commenting about any actor have a proper research.

I have seen Barun in BHPH and over there his character is totally different from that of ASR but still he is superb.The character who is stupid,at times viewers feel like slapping him but the very next moment the character does something totally matured.Thats the power of Barun to bring these varied emotions so perfectly.

Whoever has seen BHPH says the same.

Barun has a super comic talent.Not only comedy there were scenes when he has to show anger and in that scene he looks exactly like ASR.May be the makers of IPK had seen that.Even the director of that show has always appreciated Barun.

For me either Shravan made Barun a good actor or he had the streak in him.

Even if the makers take the whole credit for making ASR can they say whose eyes where which could express ASR's emotions which his words never did.The reason people liked ASR inspite of him being so rude with others was because his expressions,his eyes,his body language always explained that he does not mean what he says.

If one says ASR was all makers credit then why didn't the same maker could not handle Barun's exit?

Why was Barun always asked to extend his leave?

Why did Rajan Singh told that ASR is irreplaceable?

Why did channel put the disclaimer stating they are ending the show because Barun is leaving?

How can one have the advanatge of both side...at one point they say that makers made ASR and Barun did nothing and on the other side they put the blame to Barun that the show is ending because Barun is leaving.

Why didn't the makers had the confident to make another ASR,they had the same team?Everything was there just not Barun.

Why did the same makers are not able to create the same strong character when they are working with the same team(except Barun) in other show?

Barun has always grown as an actor.And time and again with every character he has shown that he can do everything with perfection.

His modesty and humbleness has always made him give credit to makers for his popularity.

And just because he is a good actor even after IPK there is no dearth of demand in him.

IPK made Barun a star but acting its natural to him and he has grown as an actor with his every project. And about IPK,now with so many interviews I can say its not Barun who used IPK its the makers who used Barun,always asked him to continue with the show because they knew well that viewers like Barun,they lost interest from the show,crew members left because of their creative dis satisfaction but when the time came to face the viewers,to take the responsibility,to take the blame they used Barun.

I remember an interview of a director who said no matter how things are written its an actor who bring life into character,who portrays whats written on papers.

A good director can make a bad show if the actor is not good.A good actor can make a good show even if the writing is bad.

With a good actor and average writing even the show can do well.
