Barun made ASR the way he was. An angry man has been played sevral times on TV...but getting people to see the vulnerable side of a borderline negative character is what Barun did.

He did not have too many dialogues...he was not the loverboy to find instant connect...he did not have the assiatnce of comedy to make him loved.

He did everything he could to make the character believable, loved, and chersished, as one of the most iconic characters on TV.

I agree with the TM, that while good writing helps, poor presentation of that writing, often makes the writing go down the drain.

So for the ASR we loved for over 1.5 years...most of the credit muct go to Barun and Barun alone.

The success for the show goes to a lot of things other than Barun...but for the portrayal of ASR ...Barun needs to get the credit

I think it's the whole team, Gul, creatives and Barun. I guess, Sanaya too as Barun once said it is acting with an actress like Sanaya that brings out the best in him.

while what you say is right to an extent

It is Barun and Sanaya who deserve all kudos for making ASR and Khushi respectively
and their story so great

even though the CVs and Gul created ASR , but people know ASR with Barun face, and with his acting skills, with his own portraying ..

99% of people cannot accept ASR played with anyone else even if the new entry is highly talented and can do justice to ASR character .. People just know ASR with Barun face.

so I think introduce new character is the better choice in the current situation. :)

In my heart I am not ready to accept anyone can play ASR as well as Barun

He has done something out of this world with ASR

ASR the character ASR although it is scripted by Gul but it given life by sobti! For your question it is not about IPKKND it is only about ASR the character so the credit goes only and only for Mr sobti becoz the script never explains to give exact expressions on each moment ! That is solely in the hands of an actor! He smirked gul script doesn't explain him to smirk or smile like an angel romance like romeo ! It is all sobti's magic! Gul's all heros r arrogant! Mr sobti make a difference! Sanaya and others have their hands in making of ipkknd! But for ASR it is all sobti's no one shares the credit!!!

Just like for Khushi, it is Sanaya who gets the largest credit and no one else
