Did Gul and team make ASR or was it Barun?

This only happenes in Comics, novels that you give credit to writers. But here credit def goes to Barun...I am sorry if there was only Character ASR, and the actor playing his role wasn't good??? then what???
And sorry again, it's not like that ASR is brand new... Watch Japanese,Korean shows then you'll understand she is not the only one to come up with character like ASR. There is also mills and Boon. So, there is noway ASR's credit should go to GUL. she is just copying many concept out there lol.

To be fair to her, she did a good job of creating him in an Indian context

But it would not have been as popular as it is, but for Barun, he breathed life into ASR

I didn't know anything about Indian shows until I spot ASR on tv while visiting one of my friend's house lol.
So I can't say about Indian shows, but I can say that it's not Gul's creation because concept of ASR is not new maybe in India, but not in other parts of the world.
exactly my point if there was only character ASR, and not an amazing actor like Barun this wouldn't be possible.
Barun gave ASR life, he is real to most of us.

He has to do what he needs to do.

He may respect our sentiments, but he has to be true to himself, and we need to respect that

I have seen many pairs romancing on screen and not felt the magic of Sarun, and both together is what is making it happen

Barun made ASR and Sanaya made Khushi and I dont feel any replacement will work

Gul and the CVs created ASR , this character was well sketched in the first year ,, and was given a lot of importance and wonderful scenes that any actor dream of.

Barun Sobti , amazingly portray him, till people cannot separate between ASR and Barun ..

but without the Gul, and without the CVs he would not be able to do that ..

They gave him the opportunity , and he proved that he deserve this chance , and no one can play ASR like him ..

for me the credit is equally for Gul and the producer, Barun , and also LM !

However, both the Gul and Barun ruined this character recently .. ASR nowadays is not attractive and appealing as he was in the last year ( I blame Gul and the CVs for ruining most of the characters including ASR in many tracks and situations , and for ruining the whole story in general .. and Barun for his declining performance after the kidnapping track .. and all the involved parties in the quitting fiasco which we still don't know who is are the mean responsible for it ) ,,

So to me , while GUL and team certainly deserve credit for creating ASR

It is Barun who has created the magic of ASR

It is Barun who has made ASR

as much as ASR has made Barun

To replace Barun as ASR - dangerous very very dangerous!!!!

I have...I have seen Mohit with her, and sorry to say...there was nothing there...

Barun made ASR the way he was. An angry man has been played sevral times on TV...but getting people to see the vulnerable side of a borderline negative character is what Barun did.

He did not have too many dialogues...he was not the loverboy to find instant connect...he did not have the assiatnce of comedy to make him loved.

He did everything he could to make the character believable, loved, and chersished, as one of the most iconic characters on TV.

I agree with the TM, that while good writing helps, poor presentation of that writing, often makes the writing go down the drain.

So for the ASR we loved for over 1.5 years...most of the credit muct go to Barun and Barun alone.

The success for the show goes to a lot of things other than Barun...but for the portrayal of ASR ...Barun needs to get the credit
