I watched the letter scene..it was cute enough...but did not understand what triggered Arnav to do it...may be there was some logic given in the earlier part of the episode?

I also liked that khushi finally revealed what she thinks is the truth to Arnav..I am so glad that the CVs did not drag khushi's pain and leave her to deal with her turmoil by herself...hopefully they will show ASR's Shamir dimag now, like they showed khushi's in the kidnapping track...

Btw when did his handwriting become so good? Did he get some one to write his prem patria for him?

..if this news about new man in khushi's life turns out to be true, then I guess none of us will be willing to watch that satyanash...I have a sinking feeling in my tummy just thinking about it...

But I am willing to wait and watch till there is an official announcement ( ya right!!! We are still waiting for 'next week'..).or til there is a solid indicator in the story line

Sorry for spamming. I had already written my farewell post on the previous thread but I felt I needed to post it here and keeping it on the first page as I wanted to say bye to all my friends.

Please have patience with me as this may turn out to be a long post. I joined India Forums about 5 yrs ago. I was a silent member of many forums and was for a time a active participant on DMG forum. I regretted joining IF after seeing DMG forum as I felt it was very childish. That was the reason I steered away from any more shows on Indian TV. I first saw Barun on DMG but he didn't have any role beyond 10 episodes. He was not the one I would say who left an impression on me. I caught Baat Hamari on/off but still was not impressed. Like wise I watch MJHT solely on recommendation of my office friend and even though I absolutely loved the title song for the funkiness and upbeat music, none of the leads did leave any impression on me including Sanaya.

Last year I tuned into the channel SP during the Guest house rescue Maha episode and let's say I was hooked. Hooked onto Barun and Sanaya M&B storyline. The leads had passion, the show had angst and main thing I felt was the serial was not dragging. I was hooked and now when I look back, I can say I became borderline fanatic for this show. The show impressed me with the deft story telling and the characterizations for the lead. I kept up with the story even at its worst pathetic tracks but I have decided to be wise and spend my time in a better constructive way. I would have still watched the show and I am 99% sure the fangirl in me would watch the show till Barun is there but I am trying my level best to get on the detox mode because I have realized that there is nothing but heart break if I continue on this show.

Arnav and Khushi clicked because they were soul mates. Soul mates are the ones who you connect to and who completes you. Now if the creatives are trying to show that Arnav marries Sheetal in order to accept Aarav and Khushi moves on in life with another man, then it is something I can't stomach. Just finish the show and get over it. Seems like channel wants to have the story on air and it is channel's idea for shitty sheetal track. In that case I have to say the channel people are more foolish than the PH which wanted to close the show with the leads Barun and Sanaya intact. Whatever it is I don't want to taint my love story for Arnav and Khushi in this way. The channel may want to spin a Ekta Kapoor story but I can't stand it.

I enjoyed this forum more than the show itself. I absolutely adored Sari's SG thread, IP REDUX thread and Honeypriya's Crooner posts along with millions of other posts I used to read every day here. I made some very good friends on this forum and the main thing was I liked the discussions on the story, the characters and the situations in a dignified manner. Many of the posts written here were much more beautiful than the episodes that were aired. I honestly don't know if I fell in love with the forum due to the amazing serial or it was vice-versa. But I can say for sure that the amazing insights in the posts I have read over this forum actually enhanced my passion for this show. Wish the creatives know why the audience loves this show and stop doing a Ekta with this serial.

To all my friends on this forum Ash, Biraj, Sangha, Polkadots, Diya, Vee, sugar, Sari, Priya, Anjali, Divya, Farah and many more others I can't explain the amazement I used to feel whenever I used to read and reply to the posts here. I felt as if I were connected with all of you and that is what I am going to miss the most. Serials may come and go but the friendships I made over this forum I will always treasure. I can't say how sad I am feeling now to finally say I am calling quits over this serial. But hope we all will meet at some other forum though this time I am vowing of not getting attached to any Indian serial. I think I will slowly phase out of IF too like Barun as IPK is the only forum I visit.

To everyone here who interacted with me here, I would say it was a great pleasure knowing all of you. Till we meet again it is adios from me.

P.S:- I will probably be there till Payash say good bye which may be next week and chalo I am happy that at least one couple walked in sunset hand in hand. Pity that it was not my Arnav - Khushi.

Most of us here are in the same boat as you and this current off screen drama started a few days ago with - love story has run its course statement and everything is in limbo is a sign of gross mismanagement. All this has clouded our enjoying the show amd moreso when one day they show Arnie as the guy we know during KC and the very next day he is a happy go lucky guy in college. Khushi gets the worst treatment I wonder how come she has never rebelled.

Hang in right there as some conclusion will be drawn shortly. Either ways I do not see a long and happy going for the show unless the PH, SP actors and crew are all ready to compromise and work together. Band aid fixes will not work. Last they tried fixing Baruns problem with a new contract and wee are still back to square one.

Ph changing is a huge risk coz the show has a certain treatment and thought process and their understanding of the original characters which may not be understood by a new set of people.

Personally I think they all should agree to set a timeline to end this , give it their best so that we all remember the show with a good feeling and make everyone happy.

Disclaimer : I am an uninvolved observer, so my theories are my own

i can surely say that the story writing team was dismantled (maybe someone crucial walked out) after the forced wedding.. because that was not part of the original story..and the drama started to fizzle because from then on...the tight execution, the intensity, was not there, except for rare far apart instances.

Kudos to the team for bringing the story till the proper wedding.. completing 350 episodes, instead of 500 .. i think the story would have been initally drafted for a wedding in the 500th episode.. with a lot of angst and BFTPs in between.. but the overwhelming fanmail (remember fans spamming SP inboxes, 4L inboxes, LM inbox, Fb, and anyone whose ID was public) forced them to revert the story to happy times, because the fans demanded it!

iss pyar ko kya nam doon was NEVER about pyar.

going by the initial storyline, i can see that it was all about intensity. that no-name rishta between two hearts, calling it pyar would be cheapening it. gosh i can see ASR and khushi and their eyelock in the bandagement scene.. close my eyes and see his heated gaze in diwali.. and his anger and denial later at her house. that intensity, i have never seen in a TV serial.. brought out with perfect acting.

now if the fans demand pyar and all the cliches associated with that, and SP demands to feed the fans the fodder they are craving, what can the PH do with its initial story? heartbreak for the CT (yes, i believe kernal's post, even though nishi said dont believe it) and money for SP. if actors want to quit after seeing this, i cannot say they are wrong.
