Thought I'd put together my scattered thoughts of the past week ...
KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA KO CHAAIN KYUN NAHIN AATA??
We begin to see the honest Khushi,the trusting Khushi,the HUM BHI AAPSE,ILU,DAMMIT!Khushi...the woh Bharose waali Khushi ...turn into a ALL THOSE QUALITIES Khushi ...with a BIG ...BUT...attached to her...
Interestingly on 29th Oct.2012...Khushi started to see the grey side of herself...a DeviMaiyya devotee started to doubt her Swami and her own...ALWAYS THERE IS GOOD...attitude!!This was a BIG CHANGE!
Khushi pushing away the innocence embracing the temptous view of life...
An indicator of some lessons that maybe Khushi has coming her way!
Lets hope...
All this clearly visible in the scene with ASR and DNA report as well as in the Secret Diary scene...I'm not focused on whether Sheetal intentionally or unintentionally left it open for her to see...not thinking of that...
She's still fighting the change ...with constant reminders to herself about what is right...about this can't be true...about stop thinking like that,Khushi!!
The monologue with herself has increased in frequency as her inner turmoil of doubts increases...Distinguishing TRUTH from PERCEPTION ...filtering her thoughts of what she sees v/s what is actually the picture!!
Does this sound familiar to you?Does it feel like its happened before?It Should!!
Why,you ask?
Becoz my friends,lets recall ASR v/s Arnav inner battle...what his heart was telling him against what he saw with his own eyes...TRUTH v/s PERCEPTION !!See...similar yes but not same...but close enough!!
Is it Khushi's turn at this battle within herself...of recognizing her husband...of sifting through the images and focus beyond the impression??I happen to think this will be her time...
The ruining of Aaravs painting stuck out at me!!The black mark on the face of the mom in the painting...mooh Kaala kar diya...
Agar koi aap Ko respond nahin kar raha...toh is ka matlab hua ke woh busy hai...food for thought!!Aarav's words...Khushi needs to know just becoz there was no response it was not becoz someone is upset or angry at her...they may simply be preoccupied...not everything has an answer right away!!Impatience,anyone?
HUM KHUD KAR LENGE...HUM KHUD SAMBHAL LENGE...
Classic Khushi attitude...which always ends up costing her something precious...her image and dignity...and her respect!!So yes we blame others for tarnishing her...we are right...yes others don't give her the respect...we are right...yes others don't take her seriously...we are right again...and others and us think of her as a silly,crazy,immature girl with a golden heart!!And she is!...we are right...but it is who she is...and it is part of her charm...and part of her problem...
Here she goes again with her detective capabilities...her own peculiar crazy,filmy,over dramatized way...yes,that is Khushi!
The insecurities defying her logic and belief...her fears playing havoc with her love of Arnavji!!
But we always notice she never blames anyone for anything easily...but always tries to find the reason behind things!She does not blame the poor child nor does she hate Sheetal..she is EK DUM ALAG!!as Akash once said of her...
KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA KO KYA KYA NAHIN KARNA PADEGA!!
We notice the theme of her trying to do anything and everything to obtain the truth of Aaravs Father...30th Oct.2012...was the day I heard the 360 on what ASR said to Khushi on the haldi rasam at Gupta house.
...Kya kya nahin karna padh raha hai tumhe Ghar lane ke liye...
We notice Khushi having the same sentiments towards this situation with...
Patta nahin aur kya kya karna padega sach Jaanane ke liye...
She does not know how far she will have to go to secure her Arnavji and their future together...cause is that not what this...Aarav ke Pitaa...is all about?Their future??
It's interesting to note Aaravs protection of Khushi's whereabouts and her actions...he makes a deal to keep her secrets if she stays away from him.he does not give away her whereabouts!!
..they have an unusual connection...similarity anyone?...reminds me of how ASR never understood Khushi's actions but was amused and intrigued by them...nonetheless always asked Khushi to keep away from him...Jo Karna hai karo..bas mujhse Baat mat karo...mujhse door raho!!
Why this similarity?...I don't know!
There was a picture in Aaravs drawings that caught my attention...I was mystified!!It had a family together of a mom,dad and a child in one side...and a boy watching them all alone on the other side of the drawing!!...clues,anyone?
Khushi found in the admissions file at school a ...SIYAHI SE RANGA HUA PANNA...JIS PE PAANI GHIR GAYA...the details are fuzzy...so the truth remains elusive...or the search proved fruitless...Uss pe paani phir Gaya!!am I reading too much?Maybe...but IPK is known to throw out these indicators or maybe I love suspense too much!!
The intention behind the basketball match being to appease her miffed patidev...who tells her he isn't really mad...p.s...she really is!!haha!
Does she ever listen?No,she'll do what she thinks is right to fix the situation to cater to everyone's happiness...
This helps further her insecurities in observing the familiarity between ASR and Sheetal...which gives her a glimpse of how much she does NOT know about her soulmate Arnavji!!That must hurt...she has shared the most difficult memories and the hurt and pain that it produced in him and the more recent hurtful times...the passion and understanding...the awakening of their love!!BUT...what of these playful happy moments that bring a twinkle in his eyes when he thinks back?She was never a part of those and feels left out!Out of place!
The BB match as she said was to IMPROVE HIS MOOD AND NOT SPOIL HERS!She is well aware that this will not sit well and is surely not fitting in and does not know how to PLAY THIS GAME THAT SHEETAL IS PLAYING!!
Pun intended,girls!She sees the ease,the playful challenge,the snarky remarks...which all reek of their old friendship and past knowledge of one another!!She feels alien to this world of her Arnavji!
But him?He just relishes this crazy silly and wonderful woman/girl...his wife!!He smiles at her antics and over confidence on matters that she has no idea about!!But she still has the guts to stand up and face the challenge!how he loves and admires her for this...shows in his shaking his head...smiling at her remarks and looking out for her...with his auto-reflex style!!Love how this man loves his woman!!
He does feel the familiarity and uneasiness being around his ex-girlfriend...wouldn't you?So what?But the interesting thing is his new awakening to this child's personality and circumstances...I see him automatically looking at this child's present and identifying with it due to his own past!He somehow feels a connection and the boy has an ease with him too!love this kid totally!!He is a great casting move!!

Her focused observation of the interactions between ASR and Aarav...and ASR and Sheetal...is only from the POV that she WANTS to see...and how it seems is how she wants it to seem encouraged by her fears and insecurity...that's being apparently utilized to the benefit of Sheetal...not going to speculate on why Sheetal is doing this and how it's going to go...I will let the CVs show me...WAITING...
Her isolation is in her own mind...her alienation is her own feeling...ASR is not actually doing anything...she is letting situations impact her in this way...being again reinforced by Sheetal...
There is some truth however to ASR's interaction with Aarav as I explained above!It seems to bring him solace to bring joy to the little boys face!!I love that he's developed these feelings...it's a growth and new dimension to his hidden character surfacing!His gentle yet practical and simplified conversations with the kid are showing his capability to go down to a child's level and take it from there!!
Something I think he either imbibed from Khushi or from learning to patiently handle Khushi!!:))Adorable!:))
Again,here Khushi gets to see his affinity for this lil boy growing and the side of ASR never seen...passing mental judgement on what she sees!!So also with Sheetal looking at the pics...apparently innocently...and the incidental drop of a few pics mingled with the most obvious hiding of the pics!!Again,making Khushi further lose confidence in her hold on ASR...
Why does she not get that she is the BIGGEST DEAL OF HIS LIFE!!He told her himself!Her crazy dreams strengthening her fears of losing him...and of Sheetal's apparent hold over him...she has no confidence in how much she means to him!!She just doesn't hold herself at that level in his life...and why?He needs to do and say much more to quiet her fears!!He will!I have Bharosa with no buts...
KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA KO AARAV KE LIYE KYUN FARAK PADTA HAI?
When I went into the episodes of Nov. 1st and 2nd 2012...they merged on the above theme...
Can I say...he gets it!He gets his Khushi is troubled and I loved that bedroom conversation...casual,direct and a wonderful comfort in that discussion...where whatever was not said and not admitted by Khushi was understood by ASR...he just knew she was being her egoistic self by not admitting to being upset!!Hes used to her ways by now...but has yet to get hit by the Tsunami called KKGSR!!
Aarav asked her himself...why do you care??My mom doesn't care...my dad who I have not met doesn't care!!Why you?Apparently it's in her blood to solve a problem...to soothe a troubled soul...as she says always...HUMARA NAAM KHUSHI HAI!!Exactly,she needs to do this!!Her existence has a purpose and she needs to fulfill it!
She has saved this boy from kidnappers,from fainting,helped him get into school,and now tries to cheer him up by indulging him pot a plant!!And tries to talk to him despite her own issues and predicament!!What a sweetie!What a nutcase!!:))
ASR is finding himself troubled over the kids situation as well!!Who wouldn't be?Its a heartbreaking story...Single mom...lil adorable boy...no dad...hard life for mom...sad life and childhood full of pain for child...
Many of our hearts went out to the boy...despite knowing that our sweethearts's happiness is at stake becoz of this little kid's paternity mystery!Becoz he's an innocent...he doesn't deserve pain for what he has not done...we can as outsiders understand his frustration and lack of belonging that could deepen roots to lead to another harsh ASR!!
You see it connects all in Raizada house to his pain...they all have witnessed it first hand with their Chhote!!
The thing I liked about advising Sheetal is that it was done with Arhi as a couple...ASR said...hum...we think!!loved that!ASR and Khushi went to each other for queries and information on Aarav!Also,liked that apparently Arshi discussed things before on how to approach Sheetal!!Loved the quiet anger displayed by ASR towards Sheetal's handling of the truth with Aarav and loved Khushi's reaction to his anger!!Little details that make all the difference...
Pondering points...NK saying Humari Khushi ka koi thikana hi nahin hai!!Humari Khushi chuppaye nahin chupti...Hmmm...
I am liking this constant private discussions that we don't get to see but are left to understand that they are progressing as a married couple ust every second they spend together and every nuance of their relationship is not being viewed by us...MUCH TO OUR CHAGRIN!!Our annoyance...our demands for Rabba Ve...that just got met in the ME!!Yay!Hip,hip,Pakoda ve!!
