I agree, it was romantic imagination, but that which they mentioned about during their intimate moments.

However, he instinctively knew what her feelings were previously. Because he was so in sync with her. Which seems to be missing now. Nothing to do with romantic imagination, only a heightened awareness of the person you are in love with, fiercely.

So, he knows she is troubled and keeps asking if she is fine, all the time, telling her she doesn't look fine when she says she is. He knows her worries regarding Sheetal and has confirmed multiple times that nothing happened between them ever that could result in a child.

Actions speak louder than words. Why flirt and reminisce about his girlfriend/boyfriend days in front of his wife? Why ignore his wife?

And now that he knows about her insecurities regarding Aarav he makes it a point to check on Khushi wenever his and Aarav's similarities are mentioned, check the drawingroom scene after BB match wen as nani points out these similarities his first instinct is to look for khushi and then the hotel scene wen the manager asks him if he was the father and he angrily replies no rather than just let the matter pass. He has with khushi at his side clearly told sheetal that she shld tell Aarav about his dad, thus making it crystal clear tat he is not the dad and even if he is he isn't aware, and in both the scenarios he is blameless.

Agree with you on that. He is adamant that he is not the father.

Now he knows Khushi is fasting for hima nd for most other men it would be an ego booster but not ASR, he genuinely cares for Khushi's health and challenges her for her good itself that if she loses she wouldn't do this fast thingy ever. SO I see him as a caring loving hubby and the only thing is that he is not cheesy like most other tv hubbies, and I like him for that.

Yes, we all fell in love with ASR because of his integrity and passion. (Although CVs have turned him from his character sketch of the past fifteen months into a different person, but that is for another post!!) And yes, this is what I said in my post. He was caring and attentive today, showing his love for her. And we would prefer it and be happy if this would continue, everyday. (Which he has not been since Sheetal came on the scene. In fact he has been ignoring her!)

Khushi's insecurities spring mostly from her own self and the way she sees herself and arnav as so different and sheetal and arnav so alike. And its a valid cause, in any conventional setting it would be more plausible for Arnav and Sheetal to be together than Arnav and Khushi, but IPK is anything but conventional. Its simply that as ASR had to face his insecurities, shyam phase, similarly khushi is facing hers and Arnav from his side has made things clear, so wouldn't really blame him that much.

Not really blaming Arnav, only his insensitivity to his wife. His newly-wedded wife.

As with Arnav and his past that made him, so with Kushi and her past that made her.

Also, my post is about having him shower his attention and love on his wife.

I absolutely agree with you on the character growth or lack of for Kushi. The CVs could have done great things with her. I can only sigh with regret when I remember the scenes from yesteryear IPKKND - the defiance against the great ASR the first time when she refused to be fired, what audacity; the guest house scenes, what courage; the resignation scene, what valor! Many more...

The CVs have turned her from a tigress to a timid mouse whose only dialogue nowadays, seems to be saying "Hume maaf kardijiye." (What a total waste of phenomenal acting prowess of Sanaya!)

My post however, is not about the growth of Kushi. There are a myriad of posts already written on that. And perhaps we could even write a thesis on that!

The basis of my post is to point out that Arnav's behavior, especially since Sheetal came on the scene, towards his newly-wedded wife is unacceptable. And the hue and cry in the Forum for the past week deigns that. But today, by focusing on his wife, rather than on Sheetal, we seem to have overlooked all the hurt he has inflicted on her. And the hoopla on the Forum confirms that.

My post further harbors the fact that in the end, all we want is for Arnav to have his eyes, and heart for his wife only. And to shower her with his attention and love. Which had been missing for a while. For whatever reasons the CVs seemed to deem fit! (After wedding, no romance, after Sheetal, total ignorance...!)

and yes wish the guesthse khushi makes a comebk if need arises like when sheetal is a negative character 😊
