i think the cvs have deliberatley made him more ignoramous cz then his repentance will b more meaningful. we hope. but it is a bit annoying that they used to feel each others presence and now nothing. dunt really make sense considering that it was an essential part of their love story.

Haila! I never knew what eye-sex meant until IPKKND!!!
There's just something magical about these two! They transcend any barriers of language and culture. They just ooze with se*ual tension! On the screen, across the oceans, over the mountains, I can feel this tension, one could literally cut it with a butter knife!
This is what got me hooked and addicted!

Yeah, I agree. It's baffling!
And I am sure that the CVs could surely have come up with better ideas to show his repentance being more meaningful than compromise his character that they have so painstakingly built over the past fifteen months! But I don't think we will really get the intense repentance that we are hoping for. Maybe, a 2 sec apology, and then back to normal!

Arnav talked more than normally to Sheetal. He did not even bother to ask his wife if she was hurt when she fell (whereas before he would have run to her and in spite of knowing she had done that on purpose, he would have picked her up and carried her off and fig the game!) He ignored her and didn't even realize she was gone from the court. As well, when he won, he did not even bother to turn around to look for her. Wouldn't a newly-wed husband want to celebrate his win with his wife?? In fact, as we have seen, he was spending more time with Sheetal and Aarav than Kushi. Heck, he was even thinking of Aarav at the office! W*F! He should have been thinking of his newly wedded wife. Bas! And I am not saying he should ignore her. But reminiscing about good old days when you were "girl friend/boyfriend" in front of your wife especially when you know she is insecure...
And yeah! I agree about the DNA. She shouldn't have done that. Although I totally understand why she did. The movie thing - I don't know what to say, again her personality and clueless RM zoo in play here. They all know she is newly wed, nah? And if Akash and Payal can sit together? Also NK was a bit dense. But I think this fiasco happened because CVs wanted to show Kushi in a bad light.
She was only helping someone who needed a place to stay, it just turned out that she was his ex. She certainly did not invite Sheetal to stay so he can start flirting with his ex or ignore his wife!

my pov is that why bring her in did the family with elders were even informed b4 inviting ,did she not hv atleast inform (not saying permission) her husband she did it with shyam too saw the results . now was the time to learn ..okay its not known wether sheetal is good or bad but an ex gf should not invited atleast without talking to husband . i still feel that aapnr pair par khulhadi maarni hopefully its her chance to learn this time .
if arnav did not go out of the court to celeberate with his wife did khushi go to arnav . she made herself an outsider and when he did confront her about dna and her insecuriteis she came up with bankilalji and hum cool hai .if she was shown mature and confronted with and then asr would hv ignored her question then he would be at fault . but he tried to put her insecurities to rest but he was thrown a basket ball on his face with whole family where unfortunately his ex excelled? in .
sorry not want to disagree with what u r saying i just am not satisfied with character growth of khushi

I absolutely agree with you on the character growth or lack of for Kushi. The CVs could have done great things with her. I can only sigh with regret when I remember the scenes from yesteryear IPKKND - the defiance against the great ASR the first time when she refused to be fired, what audacity; the guest house scenes, what courage; the resignation scene, what valor! Many more...
The CVs have turned her from a tigress to a timid mouse whose only dialogue nowadays, seems to be saying "Hume maaf kardijiye." (What a total waste of phenomenal acting prowess of Sanaya!)
My post however, is not about the growth of Kushi. There are a myriad of posts already written on that. And perhaps we could even write a thesis on that!
The basis of my post is to point out that Arnav's behavior, especially since Sheetal came on the scene, towards his newly-wedded wife is unacceptable. And the hue and cry in the Forum for the past week deigns that. But today, by focusing on his wife, rather than on Sheetal, we seem to have overlooked all the hurt he has inflicted on her. And the hoopla on the Forum confirms that.
My post further harbors the fact that in the end, all we want is for Arnav to have his eyes, and heart for his wife only. And to shower her with his attention and love. Which had been missing for a while. For whatever reasons the CVs seemed to deem fit! (After wedding, no romance, after Sheetal, total ignorance...!)

Today what happened between Arnav and Khushi does not sit well with me. I felt it was like a dream. In a way I felt happy for Khushi. You could see that Khushi was finding it difficult to believe in Arnav again. Was he acting in front of his family since it was Karva Chaut.

How can he change suddenly towards Khushi after all the action we had during the week, the hi-fives, basketball game, sitting and talking to his ex and remembering college days, etc. and totally ignoring Khushi at the basket ball game, in the house, etc. He could not see Khushi at all. To him, Khushi did not exist at all. He was indifferent to her. May be Aarav's incident must have played an important role in his decision to show some feelings towards Khushi.

Arnav may have been against bringing Sheetal into RM, but ultimately succumbed to the attraction he felt for Sheetal. His love for Khushi just went out of the window, making Khushi insecure and depressed. He still does not know the damage that has been done to Khushi.

Sheetal on the other hand will not let this pass. She has an agenda and will not let Arnav slip through her fingers, again. If she could get Arnav to ignore Khushi and have fun with her and Aarav, she will do it again. As long as Sheetal is there, Khushi will always feel insecure and depressed and have no confidence in his love.

Your second and third paragraph sums up the rage we feel for Arnav. The CVs have completely turned his character, so much so that even his wife is confused. It's as if he's a different person altogether, and he very well might be! Hopefully, his behavior today will carry on, although nowadays that seems to be asking for too much! The sweet anticipation we used to wait with bated breath for IPKKND has become one of sickly dread. How can the CVs justify making their viewers fell like that?
As for Kushi's insecurities, I feel that if Arnav always showers his love and attention on her, she might eventually gain the confidence in is love. But yeah, you're right. He has to show her that first. He has to make her so confident that NOTHING would shake it. "ATOOT VISHWAS." Of which he has done nothing so far. On the contrary. Dare I hope that he will soon realize how his wife is feeling and make amends...?
