Five step make-up guide for an evening party

Your evening make-up should complement the colour of your dress. If you choose a dark shade of salwar kameez or saree, apply deep shades of make-up. Enhance your eye shadow and mascara to match with your dress. Apply kajal at the base of your eye lashes and use a black pencil under your eye

Use a blusher liberally and give bold strokes for a high cheek bone effect. For an evening party, select a deep shade blusher with a shimmering effect.

For lighter shades, use gold or silver body shimmer, depending on which one matches your dress of the evening. Smudge your cheeks with light coloured rouge if you have a fair complexion, and for wheatish to dusky complexion, tanned shade rouge is ideal.

Use transparent mascara if your eye lashes are thick, and black mascara for lending depth to your eyes
