If ASR only knows Lang of force then force him outright to celebrate his bday,,,say you have every right...why this drama of making him realise and spoiling his day and sill n celebration...double lesson??
If Khushi is right here bcos of what Arnav did n the past then it doesn't bode well for the future does it...anything that se says ..any little thing tha they disagree on...she gets to sulk till he agrees??how long will he do that??

But he never took her wishes in consideration did he??? He did what he felt was right, if he does like to celebrate why would he want others to celebrate thiers with him??? Double standards Galore??

Because he felt happy and celebration is a way of expressing love...same goes for Khushi too..that why she said that why dont you want to involve me in your happiness...

As I said her being so selfless and caring make her unrelatable, this trait has been beaten to bush after kidnapping track...ASR does things when he is moved emotionally by force not physical force persay..history states it loud and clear..

Khushi is not right because of the past and I take is only as a reference in the current context and draw an analogy...

Khushi has not sulked before but she did now as she said to the family that Arnav has changed after marriage which apparently is not the case..

It was a perfect epi.. Loved it.. Arnav and Khushi were way too sweet... Their love for each other needs no explanations.. He got a bday cake for her on her bday and he ended up eating jalebis on his own.. I mean, how much cuter can these two get..

ASR only knows manipulation proven time and again he needs to beaten in his own game to make him understand..she only did what was asked of her and I didn't find anything wrong and if Arnav wants Khushi to trat it as any other day same goes for the rest of the family too

She has been show to get her way apparently..remember the desi girl dance sequence..lassi..it is just the CV's have beaten the hell crap out of her killing other traits...

So fine..you agree t was manipulation...if you say Khushi resorted to that is fine...my poin was that the Khushi portrayed as selfless and sacrificing to unbelievable heights would not have done that..if you ar saying its an addition to he character ..she has learnt t frm Arnav...then that s fine..you ar talkin of a trait in Khushi tha you wanted changed...thas fine... Was talking about praising the Khushi withou that trait for the way she wen about the whole thing..

S t does boil down to her celebrating only when he agreed to HER way..btw even the cocktail party tamasha was not very likeable then...but they too the focus away b making Arnav rude a the end...it was again his party and his wish...he didn't tel her how to conduct ceremonies a her place right??that time she was praised more bcos he was ths arrogant guy...but now when he is this loving t h also she does the same thng...is not wrong to wan to celebrate in a diff wa t wha our wife wants...

And to beat someone a their game you knowingly make them feel bad n their bday??this is the same girl who told him she doesn't need words to understand his deepest feelings...and today she waited for him t tell he he s hurt and proceeded to hurt him more and walk away..

Exactly..he did what he though shed like...she told him she wanted hm to wish her and she alreay knew he neve wished anyone..he did nt ask her not to celebrate..bcos he doesn't celebrate hs bday..he did what SHE liked for he bday..where is the doule standard?
When she made it clear she did nt like his way of celebrating he did not sulk till she apologised..he was ncapable of wishing for whatever unfathomabe reason but he kept trying bcos she wanted it...
He did nt make her miserable by appearing to accede to her request and forcing everyone else ALS to do the same so she eventually came around to his way of thinking..

Even when he put up those lights and got her a cake he said he did what he thought she would like..she threw everything bak in his face as he didn't wish her..that was her prerogative...
See the difference...here she manipulated, sulked and all fr he way..

See when someone like Anav who never does things except his way can try to do things her way then how can they show khush trying t force him to celebrate her way??

Le me say..the action is not wrong...it's wrong from Khushi as she has been portrayed..if you are saying as a character she needs to change and become ths way that's different.I am talking abut whether Khushi in present avatar would behave like that..

The double standard is he doesn't allow others to celebrate but will celebrate for others, he wants Khushi to wish but will not wish her...this is what a double standard is...

He didn't sulk because he knew he was fault for not wishing, trying and failing is no excuse ...but here he has himself asked Khushi to treat it as a normal day..so did what was asked and folloeing the said rule cannot be termed as manipulation, she did it in an extreme way but the bottom line remains the same

Last part I agree to a certain extent the makers have made her so mahaan that even if Arnav has a illegitimate Kid she is expected to forgive him and moveon, they have butchered her character to accommodate for a ever changing track...So now people expect her to be always forgiving and sensible no matter what...It makes me sick to the core and I dont blame you for perceiving her so...She is still in character if I skip the forgiving scenes, she always fights fire with fire..

she said she is changing and being possessive is one of the main traits of love...

This story has been butchered to no end don't get me started on the logic..it is butchered from the very day Arnav said I love you on the phone...just 1 day of kidnapping and he was shitting in his pants...
After that the redemption skip, Shyam-Anjali saga and what not...the story has no way been logical and characters are mostly behaving mindless..Shyam, Nani, Nk and payal being the exceptions..

Khushi character has been molded to suit the track, it is expected if the story revolves around male lead..she has lost the spunk as has become nothing more than a slave in the name of love..losing self respect and honor in the way...ASR I will not touch as it is no way related to the main post here..

Going by the initial sketch pre temple marriage or even till kidnapping, she has always beaten Arnav at his own game and it is her way of dealing and changing Arnav and very rightly so..this manipulation has been as per the wishes of Arnav mostly and she has found some loop holes to get her work done...

It is not that her celebrating Arnav Bday in her way but non celebration was a dampener, he did not hear a single word from her on his decision...coming to cocktail track it was his party but meant for both Aakash and Payal, she is a stake holder too..

Arnav only understands it when he feels bad..when has he ever realised it without it???It is in his character he cannot understand things in plain words he needs to realise them..

Him celebrating her bday was nt double standard...it wud have been if she like him had said she doesn't like bday celebrations..

He was trying to wish her..know it's no an excuse nt being able to..but I am talkig abt the diff in intent..he tried to do as she wanted...she wanted t force him to do as she wanted...that's the difference..

He wud have denitely fel bad when all that he did was thrown back in his face but he understood why she was angry and continued to try..and he did wish her..she wasn't asleep so she knew he wished her..she got what she wanted in the end..

But did Arnav get what he wanted?? She knew all along that he wAnted her t do something..that's why the reverse psychology to make him admit..and then..send him on a guilt trip..and make him apologise...

I am talking about bday scenario alone..would someone who was so Mahaan for such big things make I'm feel so bad on his bday for this thing??and there was nothing for her to forgive..she did it knowingly..she knew he wod burst out and she wAnted it...

Being possessive means manipulating others also to do things he way is it?? Se forces him to le her do as she wants..is that possessiveness in love..no..scolding him when he said no celeb would have been a better expression..

@bold..If her intention was that he should celebrAte for his happiness she should have insisted on an answer then or gone ahead with her plan anyway...as a possessive wife ..tha would have mAde more sense than this manipulative plan...

She was a stakeholder in the cocktail party plan yo say..but ou can't change everything to be like yo want it right?? Then RM is so big compared to Gupta house..she did n get tha changed fr Payal as an example..Payal did nt suggest she wud feel uncomfortable and te party should be desi..tha was Khushis decision..when someone gets married And to someone from a diff social strata and lifestyle they do adjust..she could have let Arnav do it his way..his way was wrong..just diff frm hers...

Why should Arnav realise he shuld allow his bday to be celebrated Khushis way?? I don't believe thAts required a all..if he wants a wish and a quiet celebration and that makes Him happy then what's wrong wth that?? You spoke abt him not wishing and expecting a wis as doule standards on is part...well what abt Khushi s stance then?? She said she wanted a wish with Saadgi as I recall..then why no give Anav the same afte he explicitly told her that's what he wanted frm her??
