I have been away from the IPKKND forum for a few days now. Now when I am back I see some members of the forum are bent out of shape because they think Barun is leaving, The episode on friday was fantastic and I started to worry if the serial was going to end on friday but then I realised no way because they had not told us about Shyam's reasons for trying to destroy Arnav and Anjali. If they end the serial because Barun wants to leave I will still support him. Acting is such a tough career and if he has been offered a better opportunity to act in movies he should pursue his passion which acting. We should all be happy for him seeing how much he has made us laught and cry with him and given us a chance to see his supurb acting. He is a powerhouse of talent and I am sure he will have a successful career in Bollywood.

It's actually not just 4Lions that do this though... if you think about it, all Ekta serials have good beginnings... but we all know how that works. If you think about the other shows like Sisterhood, Cowgirl, Lamp and Wick and all... the are totally off their storylines... this is not US or UK shows. They are all going to end up stagnant anyways. It is a course of life for Hindi Serials. Sad bu true. If we leave IPK for story and Barun gone wrong, then we might as well stop watching hindi soaps all together.

If Barun decides to leave and doesn't listen to any negotiations made by the PH, which I'm still on the fence about, then we cannot force him to stay. I will, however, plead with the PH to end the show while he's still there. He's definitely going to the UK in November, so he's here for another 2 months for definite. I don't think Sanaya would be happy acting with someone else as the lead, but she's an actress so she will adapt. Fans, however, won't. I will not watch IPK any more without Barun. & no, this isn't my inner fangirl speaking. Barun made ASR who he was, made the character that we can somehow love and hate simultaneously, and those are some big shoes to fill. Frankly, I don't think anyone else can do this role justice and I will not watch my favourite show go down the same track as another show (I don't watch it, but I think you guys know what show 'm referring to) and change a lead.

I still stand by what I said about it not making sense for him to leave as he hasn't been established in Bollywood yet and he gained immense popularity through this role. Maybe Friday's TRP is meant to be a deciding factor for Barun? Or he's gotten a better offer? Well, now I'm throwing random ideas around as I don't think you can get a much better offer than a lead role in a globally popular primetime show.

Barun himself has given an interview to IF about this, has also spoken about it in an audio interview, saying there's nothing of that sort going on, and if he reveals that he was indeed lying the fans won't be happy. I won't mind, as long as someone confirms what the truth is to us.

Whatever happens with regards to Barun, he makes half of IPK for me. I understand his point of view whether he decides to stay or go, and I will support him through whatever he decides.
