I completely agree with all of your questions and i hope that CVs write it that way. It's about time things go Khushi's way.

Hard to predict how Arnav will react but several points stick out:

1) When Dadi initially showed up, arnav made the statement that Dadi only believe what she wants believe regardless of the truth.

2) everytime the past has been brought up- arnav blames his father and hasn't mentioned the other woman

3) If khushi is to be blamed for her masi's actions and arnav should be blamed for his fathers- which doesn't make sense.

4) Arnav has shown that he feels guilty/regrets not believing/trusting khushi when shyam sold him the affair bs.

5) Over the course of several last weeks- he has promised Khushi "always", introduced her to his mom's garden, and confessed that he can't live without her. This from a guy who used to never let his emotions see the light of day is huge character arc.

6) Even when he was angry about Khushi bringing shyam back- his anger i think was short lived bz he saw her actions resulting in his di's happiness and i think that he truly can't live without khushi.

7) he also saw/ knows that Dadi is cohoots with Shyam.

I think that Khushi's and Arnav's relationship has been shown to be alot stronger than it was 6mos ago. Last friday's epi was prove of that.. hopefully it will be enough to have arnav question this piece of "news".

question i have is

- why is it that only dadi has seen the other woman? how come nani never recognized garima?

if he doesn't trust and side with khushi then all of the recent relationship closeness ends up being waste of time.

So if I don't marry Khushi, because her adopted mother is the other woman. Then I should kick you out of this house, because your son is the man who killed my mother with his infidelity. You were the one who raised him. So you must be the one at fault too.

I do agree with a lot of people that we have had our hopes put down before when it came to Arnav but now when I look back at everything, it makes sense because they did everything to develop Arnav and Khushi's relationship properly as they're relationship (as far back as they can admit it) had been started on the wrong foundation. I do believe that we may not be up for amazingly happy times in the show but I do think that this time Arnav will stand with Khushi against whosoever is on the other side of the warring line. Not because I don't realize what the tagline of the show is or anything but, honestly, don't you think it is a little redundant to keep on having Arnav always point a finger at Khushi? And no matter how much anyone wants to argue otherwise, the CVs are not stupid and they realize this.

PS: Just a little note on the tagline, Nafrat paas aane na de, Mohabbat door jaane na de. Does it necessarily mean that the hate and love has to ONLY refer to Arnav and Khushi. In the beginning of the show, Arnav and Khushi were not IN LOVE so to say (there was definetly an attraction don't take me the wrong way maybe even a little bit of lust from Arnav's side ;) ) so it was only eg. Anjali's love for Arnav and his wedding to Lavanya that kept Khushi in the house. So this time around, it could be that the tagline applies to Dadi and Shyam whose hate could bring the small little distances occasionally between Arnav and Khushi, eg the rumor of Khushi going missing. So the tagline is much more broad than I see it sometimes interpreted. Just some food for thought as I know most of us, including myself, will be agonizing over what is going to happen tomorrow even through our sleep (and those of you that have slept, good luck getting through the day :P) so enjoy the thinking, don't worry too much, and check out some of my writing in my writing index located in my signature to pass some time ;) Love :)

Hey Tia, marvelous post. Your questions are on target perfectly for the Arnav's rational mind. There lies the problem, ASR will not be in his rational mind. There is no bigger bomb that can be laid at ASR's feet. Dadi is smart to wait till the last minute.

Upon hearing this bomb, he will once again be that 14 year old that lost his mother, father, home. There is no way ASR, will treat this, "as no big deal." His relationship with his mother is sacred, this will hit him hard. And the woman that has caused this nightmare is Garima, Khushi's adopted mother.

Please don't misunderstand me, I am not saying this is the right response but looking at it through ASR mind, he will not think or function normally at first. How much time does he need to clear his mind and see from another propective, unfortunaely everyone's mind is different.

As much as i liked your points and i whole-heartedly agree that ASR will not deserve Khushi if he does not stand by her one thing you have to realize that he is human... in the past his behavior was not acceptable towards khushi but this time around its different. He has treated her well and this latest bomb is going to affect him. I am not expecting him to stand by her and i won't be surprised or upset if he doesn't. Lets be realistic... put yurselves in his place... how would he be able to be able to look at Khushi and not think of Garima and as a result think of his mum... this is blood relationship... Although Garima is innocent it would still not be easy to be able to have her as a mother in law

BUT this is what i would want to happen:

Arnav clears khushis name about the forced wedding
tells dadi off that u don't know shyams truthness and tell this to Anjali too
tell his whole family what shyam and dadi have been upto
and then work out how he can be with khushi and how he can be around Garima...

the seperation is inevitable ... that is the name of the show and at this point i rather the marriage not take place... i don't want khushi in that house ... i don't want her with mami or shyam those two need to be taught a lessoon first ... mami really really needs a lesson... if there is true justice and CV is always having all this twists please have one for Mami where she suffers some what ...

anyways sorry for the long post this was not meant to hurt anyones feelings

I agree with you and hope that brain of his kicks in and asks at least some of the same questions that you've raised that most of us are screaming out loud! This is his biggest test...Heaven alone knows that Khushi has proven her love for him several times over and while she too has to keep her faith in him, and in his love (like she said on Friday), he too has to come forward with his bharosa in Khushi and their love.
