I apologize for being 11 pages late to one of the most well written posts I've seen on the forum in a while.

Yes, those questions are exactly what he should be asking tomorrow.

A sensible, mature, level-headed, man in love would ask all those questions before deciding to break off his upcoming wedding. But are these qualities visible in the ASR of the post-kidnapping track?

I know the entire forum was very happy when he believed Khushi about Shyam without any proof. But compare the two instances. Today again he is being asked to believe a shattering truth, and this time, the proof is in front of his eyes.

This leads me to believe that ASR isn't going to question anything, but accept it at face-value. We are headed for a big disappointment if we believe otherwise.

Of course, if tomorrow ASR asks anything as logical as the questions in your post, I will be very surprised and happy!

In my mind if ASR walks out on Khushi now, there is no redemption for him from this act! He would be a total CAD!

He can't sacrifice his future with Khushi for the sins of thier parents! The scene with Garima and Khushi was heartbreaking! Garima a women who was wronged by someone and never had children of her own! She thanked Khushi for accepting her as her mother! I cried during that scene! Piyomori ji's acting was spot on!

The venom of that Dadi is despicable! HER son is the liar and cheat, but she blames others! Thanks to Shyam she even had a photo as proof! It is a bit much when you think on the fact that Khushi and NK had NO proof aganist Shyam! But SHYAM of all people gets proof against Garima! 😡

When will this triumph of villany stop?

Nani should smack Dadi for using her daughter's memory in such a disgusting and loathsome way- I wish they had a slap icon...I mean with so much slapping in the serial. *dhaaad**fataak*

Wouldn't it be nice if Malik had fallen in love and married Garima first...and legally married ASR's mom after because of Dadi..under pressure? Garima though the love of his life became other aurat...Then the whole story of who is destroyed whose life would be reversed...

And yes in any scenario Khushi is just not even remotely responsible for a single tear anyone may have spent...My recommendation to her is to run like mad from the pagal khaana coz she can really do better...only if she wasn't in love already..sigh.

Honestly, i still dont understand how Khushi forgave him so easily... but the fact that she did, shows enough about her love for him.

But Arnav - other than his gifts and one sorry after the shagun, no where else did i feel he loved her. if he did things for her, its because he was being benefited someway or another.

Coming back to the marriage, Arnav is once again where he was six months ago. Now the question, as you said, is if he learned from his mistake or not. And if he believes Dadi, like how he believed Shyam with no questions asked, then I don't think it would ever be right for Khushi to forgive him.

So, it all rests on Arnav's shoulders now. Im having my fingers crossed!

This is one brilliant post! I agree with you with every single point! Dare he now just walks off without saying anything and forgets that khushi is waiting for him and gets lost in his own thoughts and makes decision without thinking!! They should freakin show him using his brains this time and prove his love for khushi!

Thanks everyone for such a lively and interesting discussion. I also thank you all for keeping the discussion respectful and logical.

I made this post today to make my expectation clear. I hope even if Arnav does not quite say what I wrote today, he at least does not go for a long drive forgetting Khushi who is waiting for him at the alter.

Dadiji did choose a perfect timing to attack which I predicted on Haldi when Dadi revealed that she did recognize Garima. She decided to take revenge of Anjali's first wedding being broken when Arnav's mother committed suicide.

However, she never even once thought what impact it will have on Arnav who loves Khushi.

Why is that?

Because she never believed Arnav loves Khushi as much as infatuated with her.

Why does she think so?

Think about it. Shyam filled her in the situation before she arrived where Khushi was neatly painted as home-wrecker.

Then she comes and sees Arnav is besotted with Khushi.

She conspires to keep Arnav away from Khushi but is unsuccessful which reinforces the idea of Khushi being the manipulative, cunning girl.

She then reveals to Arnav that Shyam was the one who brought her here and she thinks Shyam is right.

What does Arnav do? Nothing. He just mentions that he knows Shyam is wrong. But does he reveal the truth of Shyam? No.

Then she continues to insult and humiliate Khushi and her family.

What does Arnav do? Again, nothing. He just informs her that he will stand by his wife proving himself to be a good husband. But does he reveal the circumstances of his marriage and/or his kidnapping to prove that Khushi is a great wife? No.

So Dadi believes that Arnav was duped by Khushi which is exactly what Shyam told her.

Then she tries to break Arnav and Khushi's marriage. Arnav comes to know the truth.

What does he do? Does he threaten Dadi that if she tries her tricks again, he will throw her out of the house? No. He hides her actions and just let's her know that he will go through the marriage with or without her.

So is it any wonder that Dadi played her tricks again without fearing the consequences? Why would she think Arnav will do something really bad to her when he never did before regardless of what she did to Khushi?

I want Arnav to show the love he claims to have for Khushi. And I don't mean by flirting with her or being romantic with her. I mean by defending her honour, respect and dignity even at the cost of his own. Then he will have his true redemption. Until then, the jury is still out.
