He said tomorrow is his first shot after 7 months...so last time he shot for it was February. Coincidentally, that's when the show started going downhill. The nail in the coffin was the Anjali miscarriage. Maybe the 2.3 TRPs was a blessing in disguise since it gave the PH a much-needed reality check, now the focus is immediately back on Arnav and Khushi and the man who made them shine, LM is back.

I think Arnav's apology to Khushi in the bedroom would have had a much bigger impact if LM was directing it. It was supposed to be a vital scene as we were waiting for that apology for a year. But none of us felt the connection because it was rushed and treated as just another scene. LM brings out the best, in terms of intensity and emotions, in ASR. I remember that episode where he ran after the ambulance and thought he lost Khushi...I've lost count of how many times I have watched that amazing episode.

Since February, the most glaring flaw in this show for me has been the degradation of Khushi's character with comedy and nonsensical scenes. LM understands Khushi better than anyone else. He can portray her to us in a way where we can relate to her and feel for her. He actually focused on her feelings. He gave us beautiful monologues, flashback scenes, etc to help us understand her side. That has been missing BADLY for months now, as the story has become very one sided...we either get Arnav or Anjali's side but never any clarity from Khushi's side.

He can show balance, growth and depth in her character. Most of the blame goes to the writers but LM proved in the first 6 months that he can make up for the writers incompetency.

P.S. He also paid attention to making our lead pair look GOOD, which added to the overall quality of the show.
