We all thought Khushi will convince Arnav to bring Shyam into RM, but did anybody guess that she'll personally take care of things and Shyam entry will happen so fast? Hein, yeh kahan se aa gaya aur itni jaldi?😕 The CVs found an easy way to get the ever sacrificial lamb Khushi to do the dirty job without too much fuss (if it's left to Akash, we'd probably be waiting until we get old) and also create a temporary rift between Arnav and Khushi. Wah, Wah, CVs, you really know how to kill two birds with one stone, don't you? Do you know there's more than one way to skin a fish? I guess not. Do you realize how many characters have been assassinated today? That doesn't matter, right? The only bright side IMO is that the blackmailer Anjali will stop her never ending rona-dhona which almost made me switch off my TV😊.
Buaji and Garima are paying a visit to the Raizada's. Nani tells them that last night, though Anjali refused to eat initially, she later changed her mind, ate her food and was her normal self and they were all so happy. Buaji tells her that time is the best healer and what Anjali needs right now is her loving family close to her and supporting her. But, who does Anjali consider her close family? It's only Shyam and no one else, not even her chote. She waits for Shyam to come, declines to eat the food that the ladies prepared so lovingly, refuses their repeated urgings and insults everybody including those who are visiting and orders them to leave. The nurse tells them that Anjali's becoming more and more weak and needs to eat and take medicines. Mami and Nani are puzzled because the night before, she was absolutely fine and today it's a complete change of behavior. Of course Khushi knows the reason and so do Anjali, Dadi and the nurse. Anjali continues with her offensive behavior saying they are all just pretending to care for her and if they truly do, then why not bring her Shyam ji. Nurse worsens the situation saying Anjali's pulse is down, BP is high and she has fever (huh? Shouldn't you be calling the doctor instead of telling the family?). What's the family to do? Anjali will not listen to reason.
Anjali's Ramayan connection - Who in Ramayan blackmailed to get what she wanted? It's none other than Kaikeyi, Ram's step mother. She listened to Mandhara's (her maid) poisonous words and decided that her son Bharat must be the crowned Prince at any cost and not Ram. The night before the actual ceremony, she holds her husband Dasharath to the 2 boons that he granted her and asks him to send Ram away for 14 years and make Bharat the prince of Ayodhya. Did it matter to her that her husband died of heart break? No. Even Anjali listened to Shyams' words and used blackmailing techniques to get what she wants i.e. her Shyam ji back in RM. Does she care that chote will be hurt beyond words? No.
Coming to Khushi, as usual, she decides that something must be done about the worsening situation. She tries Arnav's phone a few times, cannot reach him and decides to take things into her own hands (BTW, who provided her with Shyam's address). Well, we don't need his address, but shall we see what he's up to? Shyam's patting himself on his back that while he was wondering how to enter RM, the fact that Khushi spotted him at RM made his job much easier (you lucky you). He's absolutely certain that Khushi, who's now aware that his presence is a must to bring Anjali back to normalcy, will convince the Raizada's. His bloated ego makes him wonder who from the family will come begging on their knees to take him back. He hears a knock on the door and assumes that it's Arnav and is gloating (loved Abhaas' acting here👏). Little does he know who's at the door. Does he receive a big shock or what?
This scene made me feel a little bit better that it wasn't Arnav who came for Shyam. Shyam's ego is certainly trounced and his assumption that Raizada's will come begging remains a dream. I certainly didn't want to see Arnav doing the begging; he's the only one who's vehemently rejected the idea of Shyam's re-entry into RM and it would make sense to show him stick to it. Yes, we'd have preferred a totally different approach, but the deed is already done.
At RM, Arnav and Akash come to know that Anjali's health has worsened and she's adamant about not eating, drinking or taking medicines. Nani and mami are really worried and wonder what if her health deteriotates and they lose her? Just as Arnav is getting ready to see Di, Shyam makes a grand entry. Arnav, Akash, Nani and Mami are totally shocked at his entrance. Arnav is enraged, walks towards Shyam (I just loved the music they played at this point), holds him by the collar and questions him about who allowed him into RM. Enter Khushi who says 'I did' and everybody is stunned. When she tries to explain, Arnav rejects her placating words. She says 'I had to do it, for...' and Shyam finishes her words 'for Rani Saheba'. Shyam is trying to convince Anrav that he came just for Anjali (nobody hears Arnav, but the people upstairs hear Shyam talking, even Anjali?) . His voice acts like a tonic and Anjali gets up from bed, walks down the stairs, across the hall way and hugs Shyam (wah, wah, kya baat hain😆). The entire family is speechless at Anjali's miraculous recovery. She hugs her brother (she's such a pretender) and thanks him for bringing back Shyam and giving back her life (excuse me, so now your brother is worthy of your thanks because he did as you wanted is it?).
I'm so sad that not even once did Anjali think of the baby after the crib was removed; it's as though the baby never existed, it's always Shyam and Shyam. Question is, the same stubborn attitude that she's showing to her family is what she could have used to prove the innocence of her husband and shut up everybody once for all, right? Instead all she does is Shyam ka jap and sit in denial. I know she's a clinging wine, but a wine, does it ever use blackmail against the tree that's supporting it? We don't see such behavior in plants, it's only in human beings.😕
Let's come to Khushi. Forget about consulting Arnav, Khushi directly brought Shyam to RM. What right does this woman have to bring the one person whom Arnav hates so much? Is she Arnav's wife? Not anymore. Does she own the place? No. Did she consult any elders of the house about her plan? No. Why did she bring Shyam when Arnav explicitly forbade it? She says its Anjali's behavior that drove her to this decision, a most impractical, irrational and even dangerous decision.
Yudhisthir in Mahabharat - While thinking about Khushi's behavior what came to my mind was Yudhisthir, the eldest of the 5 pandava brothers. He was known as the wisest of all men, the son of Dharma and Ajatashatru (one who has no enemies). Was he an idiotic person? No. Was he foolish? No. Did he know right from wrong? Yes, of course. Let's see what he did, shall we? From childhood he saw how the Kauravas (his cousins), especially Duryodhan, hated them. He also knew they tried to poison Bheem. The cousins also made several attempts to kill him and his brothers; remember the incident where the pandavas are given a house of wax (Laksha grih) as their guest house and Duryodhan makes plans to burn down the place while the pandavas are sleeping? It's only Lord Krishna's plans that save them. Despite all these problems, did Yudhisthir ever bear a grudge against the Kauravas? No. Not only that, when his uncle Dhritharashtra sends an invitation to play a game of dice (this is at the instigation of his son Duryodhan), does he reject? Honestly, these cousins harmed them, should he even accept such an invitation? Yudhisthir's brothers tried to reason with him and make him see sense, but he rejected all their ideas. Though his brothers argued with him, ultimately, they respected him too much and gave in to his wishes. So, all the 5 brothers went to Hasthinapur and the game of magical dice was played and all was lost by them. The brothers stuck together through all thier problems, but, do you think Yudhisthir was considered faultless? He was blamed as the reason for starting the war.
Well, the most knowledgeable and wisest person himself has made huge mistakes that ultimately led to a war, so what to say of Khushi, who is foolish beyond belief and thinks she can set everything to rights? I'm not trying to justify or support Khushi's actions, but just sharing information about similar situations. Is she right or wrong? I'll leave the decision to you.
love,
lucky2
