We all have moral standards -- we dont want to call someone names. I for one hate it when I have to call people names. But, we cannot judge others by that standard! See everyone has a different way to express their emotions! Some are calm and some just lose it. We cannot just start policing the ones that lose it and tell them they have to change -- they were born that way!

The fundamentals of any society come from "acceptance" and "tolerance". We accept everyone and tolerate the ones that we dont LIKE!

A forum like this with thousands of people interacting is a microcosm of the entire society. We cannot "control" others to be like us!!!

Cheers.

agree
external control is wrong
and self control as u said is based on people's own interpretation of things
in the end
i wud say let people say what they say
why do people who complain against anti anji posts open such posts and then cry

I agree sometimes it goes over board but lately every & any post made on against Anjali being shut down lately - pms seems to be a lot more better way to express our thoughts but that defeats the existence of a forum then.

See you did make it in time! Hope college was good (I am assuming you will see this after returning home).

Yep, by our standards, some people go over board. I saw one where the person had said "I hate you, I hate you ... a few times and followed up with "I hope you die"" -- now that is a young kid who will say the same thing if someone took her/his Ipod or PSP away! That doesnt mean that we just stop them from expressing themselves! We can tell them that it is NOT the right way and they will listen -- if anything instead of deleting that post PM it back to the person and ask them "do you want to modify this? -- it is a bit offensive" -- that way you are not STOPPING them but you are educating them.

If they have the time to delete everything, they should have the time to do this!

Cheers.

Maverick I hear you

Our voices will ring forever over stifling of the right to express and freedom of thought

Dear God

I have an epiphany why don't we just bash KKG using her as a euphemism for SHE who should never ever be named for fear reprisals and of being banned from this forum forever

The Mod's never seem to care or give a damn when her role is trashed and her character torn to bits and we can have our cake as well as eat it too

So is freedom of expression the next price to pay for making 'KKG' Anjali happy now?

Has 'KKG' hit some Euro Jackpot or won the NYC Lottery that not only has she been able to buy herself the starring role in her own serial by ousting all others but has bought and wheedled her way into the Forum spreading her sphere of influence?

Will this forum now become Its All About Loving My Sister My Hindi is bad so if any one else can do the honors of translating please be my guest

If she willing to share some of her spoils I am willing to sing out her paeans in every single post of mine every single day

I love she who cannot be named❤️ I love Anjali ❤️I love IPKKNDi ❤️

I love she who cannot be named❤️ I love Anjali ❤️I love IPKKNDi ❤️

I love she who cannot be named❤️ I love Anjali ❤️I love IPKKNDi ❤️

I love she who cannot be named❤️ I love Anjali ❤️I love IPKKNDi ❤️

We all like our Forum we like coming here to express our joy and sorrow our praise and criticism our delight and dismay over the show its creatives its characters and yes even the actors themselves else why are articles about them being constantly added here or buzz points being given if they were considered to be inviolate
Oh stupid me I get it its for singing only their praises Yabol agreed I am such a Dumbkopf

The actors themselves have gone on record over how much they enjoy the critique

So what is the point of this forum now?

Nothing in life is indispensable and tomorrow if something better bigger stronger freer comes out there will be a mass exodus and in this world of instant everything you are only as good as your last show/performance

I can even agree not having to bash Daljeet...but why cannot we bash/ criticize the character Anjali ?

Asking us to stop that does not make any sense at all !

The problem seems to be the guys that are SETTING the rules seem to believe in Fascism and you are quoting Noam Chamsky!!!

We are coming from the angle of FREEDOM at all costs and they are coming from the angle of "policing and controlling at all costs"! Yep it is trivial, yep it is a daily soap but the fundamental rule does not change -- no one can tell another person what they can say and what they cannot -- this is a free society!

I love the writing and singing -- hope someone does the honors of translating.

Cheers.

As long as the 'criticism' is within the line of decency I don't see why anybody would have a problem with it! Even the mods!

Okay so I am copying my post from kkksr's thread here because I cannot refrain myself from commenting on Maverick's thread.
He is like this wizard from the valley and I have to do this everytime he makes a post.

This forum is full of moral police.
You can see hundreds of "OMG...OMG..I AM DEAD and I am talking from heaven" posts which are meant for drooling OOH, AAHING and discussing each and every body part of Sobti to the T.
This is morally right you see.
There is nothing wrong in doing that even if I am left embarrassed often by the way this drooling happens each and every time.
If you refuse to join these posts and refuse to drool then you are called a "hater" or a "basher' of BS.
Apparently some of these posts are called as Appreciation posts in this Forum.
You will see millions of Barun Sobti appreciation posts .
They are not at all offensive, you should open them sometime and see how he is appreciated in this forum.
But you open a meaningful post and try to have a healthy discussion between equals and not some 14 year old juvenile droolers or some Mother of Daadi's, then we are bashing IPKKND.
Tells so much about what is appreciation and what is bashing in this forum.

Thank you again for making this post.

I might not be able to join in for much discussion as I am busy in the office right now in the middle of some very tricky NEGOTIATIONS( I snap every time some one mentions this word, I felt like wringing my Boss's neck some minutes ago for this).

Now wait for this post to get closed.
It is inevitable.
Each post I comment , gets closed.
I am jinxed this way.
I have already gotten his previous threads closed because I voiced my opinion on this "MORAL DROOLING".
Iss Moral code ko kya naam dein?

Who defines it???

Have MODs ever defined it???

They cannot even state the difference between bashing and criticism...

So if they decide it is in appropriate they will directrly raise your warning level...

Alright, there is still some "educating" that needs to be done!

Sorry Jameelah -- I will sound like I am teaching. Here is the problem with "CURBS" like what you said "decency" -- who decides what is decent? Is there a book, a code, a program that we can implement?

I say Shit -- that is indecent for my Mom and Dad, they slap me upside my head when I use that word. But I also say F*, M* ... the whole vocabulary from the Def Comedy Jam on HBO when they are not looking. But none of my buds complain!

So, when you start setting these ARBITRARY standards like "criticism has to be constructive" or "language has to be decent" you are automatically curbing people's right of expression.

That is FUNDAMENTALLY WRONG. I think you live in the UK -- look for something that is parallel to the 1st Amendment in the US -- we have the right to say what we want. If someone has a problem with what we say -- they can directly take us to court -- no intermediary medium has the right to impose such curbs.

On the Web -- it is the right to expression -- look it up.

Cheers/

I guess it's got to do with the actor's wishes as well... The other day I was reading somebody's post that Barun Sobti got upset that whenever he comes on the forum there is post on how he can't act comfortably in romantic scenes and I found it a bit absurd bcz he is an actor and he will be criticised or admired for his acting I don't know if he actually said this or not but just giving an example so may be Daljeet has complained as well and that's why they r doing this but whatever the reason is its not justified if they the actors accept all the praises and adulation so whole heartedly then they should accept the criticism as well provided the criticism is in the limits of decency and not calling them names or cursing them in real life.

I don't think I am bashing Daljeet if I say that I will never watch any show in which she will be in the star cast bcz of her antics as an actor in this show... It was her unfair demand for more screen space which completely ruins a show which I have invested my time in and as a viewer I feel irritated when they r not showing what they promised in the promos when this show started... To tell u the truth I didn't even like Barun so to in the promos or in the initial episodes but got hooked to it bcz of the storyline and the characters... The storyline appealed to me and not the actors but at the same time my daughter absolutely despise this show bcz for her the idea of a girl getting insulted by the hero first and and his family still is purely abhorring, she hates the heroine as well for having no self respect at all and I can't force her to change her views... All I am trying to say is how can they force us to like anjilli when we r unable to tolerate her on screen.
