I found this for you.

'Ubtan' or 'Haldi' ceremony is done on the morning of the wedding. It is a paste of herbs that is used to bathe the bride and the groom on their wedding day. On the bride's side in a north Indian wedding, Chooda is another important ceremony. It is a set of red and cream color ivory bangles that are brought by the bride's maternal uncle and aunt that adorn her wrists. This ceremony is also formalized in the presence of a priest amid the chanting of mantras.

When Payash wedding happened sangeet came before mehendi and haldi...isn't that the right order?

Anu Haldi is basically a ceremony in which both bride n groom takes place

in north india there are 2 styles of haldi

punjabis do the haldi which has a pack of tumeric milk sandal pwder butter and a few other ingrediaents which is placed and after a small ganesh puja it is applied to groom , the same haldi is then sent to bride and they do the same with bride

or both bride n groom families hv seperate tumeric packs which will be applied to bride n groom after evoking ganesha

The pack is enhance the physical beauty of the bride n groom as its assumed matrimony involves the physical aspect and there in one would like to look the radaint best

and the puja involves bcz as all good things starts with ganesha name so the elders and family bless the wouldbes to look beautiful and hv a beautiful journey of togetherness in all aspects

Haldi usually takes placea few hrs before the marriage ceremony

Riya Haldi function is when they put haldi paste with a few other ingrediants on the bride and groom's face, arms and feet.

If you all remember when they came for the Shagun, Buaji said repeat roka, repeat mehandi but no repeat Sangeet. I think they did not want any Sangeet then. To much of expenditure.

10q.😊.. Meaning to say haldi is done on morning of te wedding... Face off off happens in between meaning no marriage YES YES YES 😆 I think there was a spoiler some time back that asr will call of the wedding... Mayb true dunno
