The abortion incident is actually quite reasonable in my eye. She knew what it was like to have a father who had done wrong. She personally understood that stigma. She was afraid that her child would face what she and Arnav did. She was afraid she wasn't strong enough, like her mother. She was scared. She was insecure. She was broken. So she did the one thing she could do: prevent it all together. She wasn't right. But if it came down to it, you can actually justify her. Why bring a child into the world where it would always face rejection? Wouldn't it be better for her child to remain with God and with her mother where it would be safe and happy? That's what Anjali was thinking.

You're bang on with your views on Anjali's reasons behind the abortion. I understand those reasons, but because of my own views I will never be able to justify what she did. However, I can empathise and I can understand exactly what was going through her mind. That hospital scene was one of the best scenes I've seen Daljeet do. It was absolutely heart wrenching.

No you are right in your view. Abortion can be equal to murder because you are stopping the heart beat of a living being. And that child has the right to live and make its own decisions. But this is one of those things that you can never be so sure of.

And as for me, its cold logic. Why make the child suffer? Why make Anjali go through it? Why should the child be blamed for Shyam's sin? These are questions that inevitably crop up in my mind. If the child is safe, and Shyam's truth comes out, at one point or the other, if the child does something wrong, it will be said, "you're like your father." It is the sad truth of your society and human nature. It happened to Arnav, and it will happen to the child.

A child pays for its father's sin. Arnav and Anjali are. And so is everyone around them.

I am bit of a Anjali-pankha 😆

Good morning Redux,

Doubt I have,
a) Where is the regret in the villain's eyes, I failed to see it, I re-watched the episode on mute after reading Doodle's analysis, and did not see this, am I blind by my prejudice, or did the director not focus on the emotion for the lay-viewer.

b) The villain COULD NOT predict ~ if the electric shock would kill his wife, induce premature labor, nor result in still born baby, or for the matter make her fall down the stairs.

c) The villain's wife knew her paternal grandmother is on her side, knows that the villain comes to the house, why did she not ask help in hiding the villain rather than put her unborn child at risk time after time.

All of these aspects hinders one's perception of an expectant mother putting her unborn child first as the case should be, we can't claim that she is unstable anymore, point in fact being that she was sane enough to hide her husband, take off the light switch. So why this portrayal by the creatives/writers of the show.

Sathu I have a question, As per Doodz, anjali realizes seeing the payal, he is not Shyam jha.

Why did he gift her a single payal, was it her own and did he cause the handicap?

Erika:

1. It was there in Thursday episode. what I called it dabba vey...Did he lie then or not no idea.

2. I have same Q: She was not performing a stunt under controlled conditions, it could have ended up with both being called...Cinematic liberty perhaps, dunno.

3. You mean why she did not ask Dadi's help? I am guessing since it happened so suddenly she obviously did not think and also she did not want to bring attention by taking Dadi aside and telling her something.

Dunno so many loopholes are there, let us see what happens.

I have a question.

If Dadi wanted proposal to be sent to garima so that she gets married into the family so that she keeps quiet.

Then why would she object to khushi marrying arnav. Isn't her purpose solved. If not garima, then khushi sahi.

Is that why she has stopped objecting to the marriage.
