Even I am sick of Kushi's mahaan complex, why does she always have to take the weight of the world on her shoulder. Honestly she has nothing to feel guilty about, Anjali ruined her own life by being a brainless twit that is not Kushi's fault. I hope Arnav can seriously knock some sense into Kushi and make her stop feeling guilty all the time it makes us want to spew our lunches. I don't mind if Kushi feels sad/sympathy for Anjali, but the guilty trip has so got to stop it is disgusting.

I don't think it will change till people around start taking responsibility for their actions. Anji needs an ear/eye/mind opener from someone...like there were not enuff ppl treating anji like porcelain doll that they got Dadi in...

What to expect from a creative team that 50% humiliated the female lead and remaining 50% laughs at her expense?

The real problem is Indian tv synonyms sacrificial lamb to a good bahu/beti..

i completely agree

sympathy is fine

but this kind of guilt is unhealthy

I was thinking about it just now. Why did she look guilty?

I mean why did the storywriter made her feel guilty?

I guess she is sidelined now because of Anjali and to make ANjali most IMP person in everybodies life she has to feel guilty. After all her character should never have any self respect. Thats how the Cvs decided to portray her character.

Now no matter what we say or write Cvs are NOT ready to lend her some self respect

Feeling guilty is Khushi's default response to anything that goes wrong around her- no matter how remotely it is related to her.

This is an automatic reponse in her strenghtened by years of experience of feeling this way.

The flip side of this feeling is her sense of responsiblity.

Khushi believes that somehow it is her responsibilty to make others happy and make things right for everyone around her. This belief of hers expalins a lot of her ' meddling' behaviours. When she cannot make others happy, or things go wrong around her,her first response is to think ' It's me, I have done something wrong', followed by guilt feelings and then follwed by an action to make things right. Today she offered to get Anjali a glass of water- her attempt to manage her own guilt feelings and to make things right.

How many times have we heard Buaji go:' Ab sanka devi ne kya kaand kiya?' everytime something gets messed up?

It is years through years of living through situaions such as these that Khushi has learnt to react with guilt everytime things don't go the right way! People around her expect her to mess things up and Khushi has come to believe the same about herself.

It will require some effort, solid evidence to the contrary and a thorough review of herself for Khushi to start believing otherwise.

YEAH KUSHI IS THE VICTIM & SOMEONE ESP.ASR SHOULD STAND ROCK SOLID BY HER SIDE.EVERYONE IN RM EXCEPT NK & NANI ACT AS IF KUSHI IS REPONSIBLE FOR ANJALI's HUSBAND's WAYWARD WAYS.

NK WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO STOOD WITHOUT ANY PROOF AGAINST SHYAM & A GREAT CHARACTER,LOOK AT HIM ALWAYS TRYING TO CHEER UP ARSHI.

Trina the problem has extends much beyond ipkknd. If you wat they show on tv, u will realize maximum bahu beti's r shown to bear insults abuse yet return all that with love, understanding and forgivance without apology. They seem to convey that unless a woman is ready to bear abuse, unless a woman suffers she is not worthy of love. These type of portrayal used to appeal to TRP aunties. I don't like using that word but now my patience has ended. This was the very reason I had stopped watching tv last 7 tears.. I feel like screaming at the top of voice that ikknd viewers do not fall into that category...I challenge the cvs show the old self resecting khushi and u will see TRP..

There's nothing wrong with her. If anything is wrong then its the creatives brain.

Khushi is too kind and selfless. So selfless that she forgets about her own happiness and only thinks about others. She blames herself when there is absolutely no fault of hers. I want a Arnav reassuring Khushi scene. Where he talks to her and makes her stop blaming herself for everything that happened in these past few days and I want the scene to be well executed, LONG and not short and RUSHED and certainly not with Shyam lurking somewhere around. If we will get such a scene only when more insults will be hurled at her by Dadi or someone else then so be it. At least she will stop feeling guilty because I think feeling guilty every now and then when there is no fault is a kind of torture. She thinks she's the main reason for Anjali's sadness and I can't even imagine how awful that feeling must be for her.

Feeling sad for whatever happened is fine but feeling guilty is a tad bit too much. It was Shyam who came in her life, It was Shyam who lied to her and pretended to be unmarried, It was Shyam who betrayed everybody, It was Shyam who was cheating on his wife and It was the great Indian dummy who was too blind to see what a cheat her husband is. It was Anjali who didn't have faint but BLIND faith in her Shyamji. So Khushi has absolutely nothing to do with it. Its high time she asserts herself now.
