it's simple. She is trully a simple girl and wants to believe the good in everybody, we know she has whole heartedly accepted Khushi despite her initial anger. but her mind cannot accept Snake is evil, so she finds solace in thinking this is all a MU. wht I don't get is she loves her chhote but not enough to trust his judgement...not even to doubt many a times when she has seen something untoward...IT WILL TAKE AN EXPLOSION TO UNMASK SNAKE in her eyes.

Anjali is a complex character, It's quite easy to brush her aside and say she's a dimwit but i think there's something deeper here. I think she can't handle rejection hence she prays a lot to god and gets involved with the family (Arguements wise, Always trying to keep everyone happy). Coming to the point when Shyam was insulted, I think Anjali was in shock. She was confused and hurt, not knowing what to do which resulted her in wanting to be alone. Arnav had been kidnapped but he was back, safe and now this Shyam mishap, which one should she concentrate on? She's getting shock after shock dammit! And about the Arnav-Khushi bit, That was when Anjali felt more lonely than ever, she wanted to know that her brother is their with her so seeing Arnav and Khushi happy together, she got upset because she thought no one cared about her, her happiness and Shyam.

Sorry for butting in, she couldnt ask immediately as she was in shock. But later they had many heart to heart conversations, why didnt she ask then? So spending time with your wife implies not caring about your sister? Im perplexed to know this? In fact who asked her to sneak into a married couple's room without knocking? Out of shock you will lose basic manners?

Following is a post I made on Sanika's take on these characters...Re-posting (Suggested by Sanika as its relevant to this post as well)

Brilliant Take on these important characters Sanika!! 👏

I totally understand your POV... and its my point of view as well!!! I think the best part of IPK and the reason why we all LOVE the show and Crazy about the show is because of THESE CHARACTERS and the CONSISTENCY OF THESE CHARACTERS... I bet we cannot name even a single show where the CHARACTERS HAVE THIS CONSISTENT!!

We all relate to the characters of this show and they behave like any normal human being would do in those situations!!!

MY TAKE

DADI: How long this character been around? Not even a month and she seems like such an integrated part of the FAMILY, the chemistry, the relationships...Its Awesome...she fits right in!!! The way they showed similarities between ARNAV and DADI I think was very important for us to understand DADI and how she behaves the way she does.

MAMI: I always loved her character and over the top makeup, dressing, english and small talk... because that's what a PERSON with INSECURITIES does... that's how a person WHO COMES FROM A POOR BACKGROUND does TO FIT IT and get acceptance. People like these feel very threatened (Mami feels threatened by Payal and Khushi and feels like they will take control away...) ARNAV TOTAL UNDERSTANDS MAMI...he knows she means no harm to Payal and Khushi...and BUT IN THE NEED OF TIME...SHE WILL SUPPORT THEM, PROTECT THEM...(Like she did during kidnapping...but after that she is back to her core character of getting over insecurities...)

ANJALI: She was probably the sweetest person in the show...and probably to us she was the simplest of ALL... but NO...she has layers to her character too... (I agree, CVs and writers have gambled with her character in between probably due to bashings and TRP)... she has her own insecurities!!! Her own way of looking at life...Though she seemed like the most mature character on the SHOW...she is not... BUT SHE CAN NEVER BE NEGATIVE or HATE Somebody (I would have been surprised if they had shown Anjali hating Khushi or distancing herself from ARNAV)!!! To me this is the least explored character to me... we are yet to see different shades of Anjali... which will probably unfold in coming days!!!

In my own life I have seen characters like Dadi, Mami and Anjali and can understand their reactions... I think human mind, heart and relationships are very complex THE HARD PART IS MAINTAINING THEM, UNDERSTANDING THEM... and Everybody have their way ofDOING IT... and their way to RIGHT and WRONG...

Agree about the shock part initially and that she doesn't want to believe. But then it doesn't explain the lying. People in shock don't lie.

About the CV's handling Barun's absence, well, they showed Khushi thinking about him all the time so I don't think they would have had trouble putting in a few dialogues for Anjali about Arnav.

I agree her overreliance on poojas is an emotional crutch. i find it interesting that at a point in her life when you would expect her to lean on that crutch, she seems to shy away from it.
I actually find myself wondering about her self respect. if she believes in Shyam's side of the story then how can she continue to live under the roof of the man who kicked him out, brother or no brother. Seems like someone who wants the best of both worlds.

No problem, Of course you can discuss! 😛 No, I mean it's her Chotte's room, Her brothers room, Does she need to ask permission to enter? But i do agree with you, Arhi are married and need their privacy. 😳 You shut me up LOL😆

Anjali just wants every thing to go back to normal, She's just confused and believes Shyam loves her and would NEVER cheat on her but at the same time, It's like she doesn't want to leave the family members behind

Even its her chotte's room , its simple basic manners to knock door before entering😛 whether you are married or not. I simply ask you a question, will you be able to justify if you sneak into someone's room when they are changing? No right, hence knocking the door is a must😊
