But I am also troubled by how suddenly this marriage no longer being valid was brought up as a plot device and the whole chastity and good-Indian-girl notions got bandied around. I understand the viewership compulsions, but frankly, that is just being dishonest to your story. And this wedding is so half-arsed as of now (the bride won't even get fancy clothes), how is it going to even get appreciation with the fantasy audience??

A private ceremony - tum, main aur taare would have been memorable. Perfect. But then again, why am I seeking that in a daily soap which (understandably) puts viewership compulsions ahead of aesthetic storytelling.

Even I wasn't in favour of remarriage. I mean is a big fat Indian wedding even necessary? For me Arhi was a unique couple who didn't require a traditional wedding. That was the whole beauty about their love. You don't need to have a big fat wedding to have a successful marriage. There are so many marriages in real world which were celebrated so grandly and then in the end, they reach a stage where the partners don't even want to see each other's face.

I want Arhi consummation in the most unique place possible..Not in a room decorated with candles and roses..That's so not done for me!!I can't see ASR applying Haldi..wearing a long Sherwani with that turban on his head(Is that a turban..I dunno..Am a Bengali...So can't say much in that matter)..ASR...I have an image in my mind of this character..And though it's still okay for me..The whole marriage thingy is kind of cheesy!!

i have gone through everyone's mail and here is my POV. i have watched all the Arshi scenes from the beginning and my opinion is based on my evaluation ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA - behind the gruff exterior exists a child of 14 who was forced to grow up in the wake of tragedy and was dead afraid of losing someone he loved, which is why he told hi Di that if he ever finds his soul mate, he will stay away from her, which is what he did when he met Khushi. Khushi affected him from the word go and he did everything she asked him to do however grudgingly. Arnav has always been afraid to express his love and therefore during the La episode, he tried everything to make Khushi say the magical words first. when he realised that he cannot continue with La, he again tried to stay away from Khushi but was unable to do so. Khushi boke through all his barriers and when he finally opened up to her, the MU started and he went back in his shell.

whatever may the reason we feel but the truth is that really he agreed for remarriage because kushi(being a girl of orthodox family and having enormous feelings about the rituals) feels that their marriage is incomplete


so its duty of asr to make her feel comfort in their relation so i think remarriage is justified

still don't agree recall the scene where arnav sees kushi being slapped where he says "i don't know why people are making this as issue
anyways you need know lets do it"


and after that he tell to buaji "i don't know why you people are making it as issue i want to finish this here itself by completing the rituals"

and some elder are like dadi only
we can't expect everyone to be like nani
this is what happening in day to day life of most of people who wants to balance their family without leaving anyone

i don't want to say whatever happening is right but i just want to say i agree with remarriage
so that she can get the most important thing of her life to happen at peak of happiness
