MODs a humble request by Oyster and me: Just a side note to the mods: We're discussing our personal lives, not the actors' personal lives. As for the actors, we are just sharing some potential possibilities and we are all aware that these are only our personal reflection/speculations. I'm glad to have a mature conversation on this forum after such a long time, so please allow our discussion as long as it remains healthy.
And also we are not demeaning them at all. So please consider our request. but if you feel someone is taking undue advantage please close the thread.
BEFORE EVERYTHING I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW THAT I JUST LOVE BARUN SOBTI Playing ARANV SINGH RAIZADA. He is the soul inspiration why i started writing Fan Fics on Arshi. So dont even doubt about my admiration for him.
(So much of miss interpretation of my post. Firstly i am not talking about hug after the slap it was brilliant no question to that. Secondly i am not talking about rakhsha bandhan hug, even that was extremely emotional. I am talking about their romantic scenes in general which lacks. please note that stating their best romantic scenes cannot dilute the one they couldnot pull off well. that is not an excuse please understand. By romantic scenes i dont mean only hugging, kissing etc please. romantic scenes in general it can be anything and everything.)

1) I dont doubt sobti's acting
2) He is the best actor right now
3) He is the most handsome guy in indian television
but...all said and done we cannot overlook certain things...like his looks, his uncomfort in romantic scenes, his appearnece now a days...please compare his old pic with new once you will see the different. compare his diwali scene with any other romantic scene except kidnap wala episode. you will know what i am talking about.
Being and urdent fan i want his charm back, i want that chemistry back, i want his ASR looks back.

PH needs to work on him seriously.
1) He should highly work on his romantic scenes. Other than his eyes needs to work on his touch with sanaya which is highly noticeable now a day. he doesn't hug her properly neither he touches her properly. even the directors are over looking such issues like the bed fall how his hand was unconsciously up so that he doesnot touch sanaya. it was weird. In acting feild "marriage word" is not an excuse sorry i dont buy that. Lot of people are married and still they do intimate scenes. and its his proffession.
2) He needs to go into healthy diet. He looks oily most of the time. I dont know whether it is his make up artist fault or lighting. but it is eye sore. he cant afford to look like that after getting the most stylish sadasya.
3) He needs to work on his walking which looks very odd sometimes. he cannot be so casual at it. it takes away his charm. For directors you need to work on his wide shots while he is walking.
4) Now a days barun hardly touches sanaya even while cupping her face or putting her hair strands behind her ears. and gap can be seen and it takes away half of the intensity.
5) Hair cut is a major problem for him. even his clothes which looks old now. it is taking away his glamor. PH needs to seriously work on it.
Ok enough of his negative points some positive points
1) Good work on emotional scenes as usual.
2) Good development in english dialogue throw, which we can make out clearly now a days, initially if was difficult maybe because of some sound issue or whatever not it is reslved
3) Voice modulation is wow now a days no complain
4) Good flirtatious expressions.
5) His smile and laughter is not getting adapted by us initially it looked a little odd.

well needs to be consistant...he can give his bes shot in one scene but he just cannot relax in other scence. so that is not an excuse again. if he is mind blowing in GH shirtless scene and i love you damn it scene then he needs to also work on his current romantci scenes. All. thats his proffession and i dont doubt about his dedication. He is extremely hard working but there is something missing and we cannot deny that. whatever it is he/dicrectors/ph all the concened person needs to work on it. thats all i can say. And well it is not only me but lot of other buddies think same so there must be something we are not talking on air.

She seems to do it in a lot more of a natural way and isn't shy in cupping Barun's face or hugging him all in that natural instinctive manner.With Barun i think they just need to work on his OS shots whereby they need to sort out the angles and direction so that they capture him a bit better in the scenes.Other than that I do agree on the need for a haircut, his sideburns are way too thick and need to be cleaned up but I can't help thinking that perhaps they are wanting Barun to grow his hair so that it looks like that 'Screen Test Look' on the 4 lions blog page which I thought suited him a lot better than this hairstyle.And the wardrobe definitely needs to be updated, they need to get him better power suits and up to date lounge/casual clothes.Even with Sanaya I love her natural hair minus the wig extensions, they should just style her natural hair in that flowly curl way she had during the Salaam E Ishq dance or when she was on Movers & Shakers. Or if that's too much effort and damaging to Sanaya's hair then just let her have her normal hairstyle in a straightened look like Anjali does.

Reasons:
The suhag ratt scene is missing sexual tension which he could have done better like diwali kiss, also yesterdays and todays hug is a big miss from his side for me.
I am true fan of him, but it doesn't mean i will overlook his mistakes, because i want him a super actor.
I agree...He's an actor..and this is his profession...I'm mostly dissatisfied with his hugs these days...It won't work when he says..I'm uncomfortable...I love his acting..and emotional scenes are his forte...but he can't look uncomfortable in romantic scenes,period!!
PS:And it's totally a lame excuse to say that he's married...That can't and should not be the reason of his discomfort!!

I agree with ya. The intensity in the romantic scenes is lacking on Barun's side. I love the chem that Sarun shares...and they still have the magic. But when they dont touch each other with conviction then the moment fizzles instead of sizzle. This goes more so for Barun than Sanaya. Even she in few scenes, especially while caressing the face...tends to be light in her touch.This is a highly passionate and intense love story. The actors regardless of the personal commitments (married or in relationships) should be able to give their 100%. Both of them are excellent actors and emote very very well, especially with their eyes. Its such a pleasure to watch them together weave magic onscreen...I hope this doesnt fade.The diwali scene had so much more than the SR night. You could feel the sexual tension...the helpless attraction they felt for each other. I hope some of the old intensity is back.As i said in my previous post, this is meant to taken as a constructive criticism. And regardless of all this minor flaws, Sarun still remain the best couple onscreen.

it cannot be an excuse please. they are from glamor world they have to look good irrespective of whatever. they have to take care of this.
it is not about new or old it it is about execution. please understand what i am saying dude. no matter how many times they hug or whatever the charm will always be their if properly executed. what about sanaya? she never looks exhausted??? come on man everybody is working under tight schedule not only our beloved actors. but they still manage to maintain then why not our hotwa?
