I don't feel any of this is right, you have your points I agree. An actor like Barun will not take these scenes taken for granted, i believe. These are also as much important as other scenes, nor the director will compromise with it as he is the executor. In SR scene, the full focus was on sanaya and her agony. He was not even focused correctly in the bed. Otherwise, where did they lose intensity. In that shawl scene, when he was taking her in his arm, everything was perfect. Some one said he was hugging her lightly in SR scene, that was a very soft hug, which husband and wife normally do to feel each other, it was not that passionate hug, it was a romantic hug. In such scenario, every men will handle their partner as a fragile doll. Did I say a little bit more. I am not arguing with you dear. Really sorry, if you feel so. As i said you have your points, but I lovingly disagree with that. It is always good to keep a critic observation on our actors.

I am with u on the intimate scenes. We know from bhph that he can do this much better! Also asr is a strong char., so his action needs to be strong also! Not a dheela dhaala sa hug!

Ofcourse you'll ask for a valid reason.
With the past threatening to come back in Arnav's life, his Dadi annoying him every single moment, the emergence of new feelings in him, the newly found comfort level with Khushi - you cannot except Arnav to be focusing on intense touchy-feely stuff.

This is an emotional phase they're going through. His eyes, face, body language and touch - everything has to be subtle and hesitant right now.
Barun is portraying that perfectly. The intensity has to come later when everything is sorted. Right now, he has to show that Arnav is worn out with the happenings recently.
Arnav's learning how to express correctly, he was never very good at it. He is still hesitant with Khushi's proximity. Barun shows that hesitancy very well.

About the haircut, well - I support you on that. He looks unkempt. But acting cannot be better than what we get. Without being OTT, and any cliched heavy duty dialogues, he is performing in a way that we feel for ASR. Our heart goes out to him.
