Luvd ur post...after yesterday's epi.i hav a doubt whether this is the real dadi aur she was being kidnapped by shyam after she leftthe ashram..and this lady is a shyam's planted look alike to create the havoc..as shyam very well knows he cant enter RM as long as ASR is there...just a wild thought...

Sush - nice to see you here...Whether Arnie believed what he said or not, he didn't hesitate to insult her every opportunity he got. The difference is we love ASR, he is the typical M&B hero...Uske saath khoon maaf...

On the other hand, we dismiss dadi as old school, regressive. But the person who faced the humiliation wouldn't know the difference. Khushi didn't know Arnav back then, so she felt just as humiliated as she felt today. So in that sense, there is really no difference.

Both misunderstood her, the premise maybe different but for a traditional girl like Khushi the hurt is just the same. When his dadi infringes the same hurt on his wife, his love, ASR realizes he is wrong...Is there a better way to make him realize he was wrong?

I see the point you are making Sari and agree this is the right time to bring the redemption track...when dadi is reopening the wounds ...

But the point I am trying to make Sari is that equating Arnies take on Khushi with dadis is unfair...yes, some of the dialogues are similar...but like I said...I never thought that those dialogues fitted the rest of his character sketch...a man who is a non traditionalist...some one who is self made., some one who is modern in so many ways...I thought his insults to Khushi were a part of his denial mechanism to the sexual attraction he felt for her...
Well for dadi...her reasons are completely different...either she is really an old fart...or she does have an axe to grind with Khushi that we dont know about...yet...!

For me it looked very calculated and planned...she wants to break Arnav and kushi's relationship at any cost..she used under the table tricks today. Her motive for this looks more than what we see...Nani clearly mentioned in the earlier epis that why she hates only kushi ..she is not like this with others..So it shows that otherwise Dadi wouldnt behave so disgracingly...the way she purposely insulted kushi and her family was like she knew this is the only way to achieve her goal. But she misjudged Arnav's love for kushi...his pagalpan and junoon is the one which is going to shock her!😉😆

Hi Zu - Yes. I agree with you totally...I am not completely convinced that dadi is negative. Either she is misinformed or misunderstood Khushi and has rushed to judgement. It has to do with the past; she does not agree with ASR's past decisions, leads her to believe that he is wrong now...Mistrust on both sides...I am more interested to know their past now...😆

Like you said, nani wouldn't befriend her if she were that regressive. Paagal pati will leave no stone unturned to bring his patni home, that is a given from tonight's episode.

Wondefully quoted👏👏 Perfectly describes Khushi's love for Arnav!

Sush however the reasons are different for their behaviour with kushi ...the hurt she felt was same...he is now undertanding his mistakes...back then he didnt understand her pain and hurt when he did the same things now he is reliving it with her and hurting as much it hurts her as he knows he is the cause of the pain back then and even now!!!

Sush - I am not convinced Dadi is as regressive...There is a motive behind her insults and that has to do with the past...She like Arnie has misunderstood Khushi's intentions or has been misinformed. She is privy to the info that Khushi owns the GH which even Khushi doesn't know. Ther
e is something she knows about Gupta's that we are not yet privy to & we don't know who her informer is either.

Like Zu pointed out, I don't see the same spite with the rest of the family. It is only with Khushi. If you check back the first few episodes, Arnie was just as insulting if not more. But we loved the character & the mystery about him...

Hi!
First of all, I would like to give send out a hugwa to all the hangout gals! 🤗 Judging from several posts in the last hangout, many are sad, stressed and worried about what the breakneck speed of our beloved show signifies! I know, it causes my gut to tighten and lurch...
Trying to take deep breaths and rationalize...In the last hangout, Meens and a couple of the ladies raised some good points as to why the CVs have hitched us to a runaway train (keeping up with competitors, trying to raise TRPs, making up for the kidnapping track etc). So I am just focusing on that, and trying, desperately trying to keep positive. Like all good things, one day, AK's story will meet a happy conclusion...and I guess I rather the show end on a high than be dragged into a poor shadow of what it once was! But for now I plan to enjoy it!😉
On to today's episode...Dadi is such a scheming little witch, with a capital B! Am so glad Buaji set her in her place! But how anyone can listen to stoppy and not wanna do some physical damage, I don't know (thanks for the dwarfish name Ippy, it is so appropriate in the AK fairytale 😆). She is so good at manipulating the situation to achieve her goals..dominant genes which her grandkids possess as well!
I have never seen Garima so distressed and scared! Cannot wait to see how she is involved in all of this! Is she the other woman? Related to the other woman? And the slap...what was that about?
Loved how Arnav walks around GH with sadda haq...and I do not see this changing. No matter what others say, Kushi is his, and his alone...screw anyone else! Loved Buaji's "O" face when he just proceeded to barge into his wife's room...😆 So bossy..so sexy!
The scene with him reflecting was well done too..we are getting to see his thoughts, his emotions regarding his role in all this. Cannot wait for the precap to play out tomorrow...😳
Edited to add:
Oh...I absolutely hated the Payal-Mami scene today..so cruel. 🤢🤢 I think this was just as bad as Dadi's scene. How Payal does not reach over and slam both Mami and Akash's heads together, I don't know. Really Akash..learn a thing or two from your elder brother. Akash, you cannot say one word against your mother? I could not be an SP bahu...I would have already have left by now after reeking havoc! I think Akash is my least favourite character as of now.
