Spice Girls Hangout:Reflection!

I found this episode gripping yet heartbreaking at the same time, I just could not stand to see Khushi face more insults, pain but it wasn't all bad. There were some really good scenes in this episode as highlighted below

So the episode started with Bua lecturing Khushi which I did not mind, obviously she'll react to what she learned but what has impressed me is her protectiveness of Khushi. It is like another 360 has taken place but with a different outcome, while in the past where Bua believed Khushi shamed the family she abandoned her and insulted her bitterly but this time around she is standing by her. In the previous episode she could not stand Dadi insulting Khushi and her immediate instinct was to protect her child, today was no different.

Dadi arrived at GH, she was nasty, vicious and showed just what she thinks of Khushi. Khushi's character was once again maligned while Dadi made excuses for Arnav, it was evident here why she and Arnav clash over his father for she has never held him responsible for his actions. Khushi has been made the scapegoat once again with Bua being dragged in the process. Dadi succeeds in enraging Bua to the point where she calls off the wedding, she's a mother protecting her child and will not let her go through hell courtesy of Dadi. Mission accomplished for Dadi or so she believes

I knew a slap was coming from Garima but it had nothing to do with the incomplete wedding, the reasoning behind this was entirely different. Garima purposely hid from Dadi which indicates she knows her quite well and based on promo 5, it is Garima who holds the connection to Arnav and Khushi's pasts. Bua continues to protect Khushi, she should not have been slapped for she is not at fault, Arnav is to blame too. Loving Bua and Nani for holding Arnav equally at fault

Dadi back at RM thinking she has succeeded in breaking the wedding but she has proven she knows nothing about the Raizadas and specifically Arnav who immediately suspects she did something and goes straight to the source for answers. Arnav goes to Khushi's only to find out she not only faced more insults from Dadi but was also slapped by Garima, his immediate reaction is to fight but Khushi calms him down by saying its ok when clearly it isn't. Khushi would not have hugged Arnav for comfort had she not been hurting but being true to her character, she tries to act unfazed by it all since its her mother who has all rights to slap if she wishes to

Arnav has had enough, he will not let anyone stand in his way of marrying Khushi again. He makes this known not only to Bua but to Dadi as well upon his return to RM. He has declared war in his own way and makes it known he will bring his wife back, no matter who or what stands in his way. Dadi is left defeated but not for long as this battle is far from over

The highlight of this episode for me was the following scene where Arnav watches his reflection through the glass door, he reflects through a series of flashbacks about just how much Khushi has endured by him and for him. Finally he understands the depth of Khushi's pain and who she is as a person, she had every reason to hate him but instead she fought and fell in love with him and this was before knowing the depths of why Arnav was the way he is. Powerful scene which will continue to play out in the next episode

After watching this episode, I am even more convinced that Dadi and Shyam are working together. There is no way Dadi could have known Arnav put GH in Khushi's name, no one knew that not even Khushi herself so how could Dadi??? One thing that gets on my nerves about this character is her believing she has the right to have any say about Arnav's life, she abandoned him years ago so what makes her think she can come back into his life and take over?? RM is not her home and the wealth she is talking about is not hers, it is solely Arnav's who worked hard after he and his sister were left with nothing thanks to her and her son.

A request to CVs to please do something about Manorama, there are days you love her and others where you just can't stand her. I did not like her so called jokes about Khushi and Arnav's wedding being called off, it was not funny. What is her problem with Khushi?? Akash and Anjali have moved on so why does she continue to give her a hard time?? Manorama of all people know what Khushi went through for Arnav so to see her behave this way is disappointing.

Sari: Brilliant post and insight once again; loved how you connect past instances and moments to the episode to bring it forward in a whole new light👏👏

Good episode today, I liked the pace today, things finally seemed to have slowed down a little but still moving fast enough to keep up the momentum. Today once again was about how much Arnav and Khushi, two lonely souls need each other to survive and how connected they are irrespective of everything they have been through they can bring solace and comfort to the other, they have now reached the stage where they probably cannot live without the other. I am sure the re-marriage will happen; Arnav is a man on "Mission Pheras" and he is not backing out. He knows this is what Khushi wants too and while there will be hindrances at every stage enhancing the suspense ki hoga ki nahi; Arnav will come through for his Khushi this time❤️.

Dadi is clearly biased by the past, she sees her son's mistakes in what Arnav is doing and characteristics of the other woman in Khushi🤢. Again while I did not care for Dadi's dialogues and character assassination of Khushi and the Gupta's I loved how Buaji stood up for her niece and her family. She was courteous yet firm in her stance👏; truly a strong character and I see her play a strong role in future. It was a natural reaction for her to blame Arnav for taking advantage of the unfavorable circumstances during the wedding but I wanted to hug Khushi for standing up in his defense. She truly understands him now; knows that the anger is his defense mechanism to hide his pain. Hats off to Nani and Buaji for having the guts to tell Dadi that Arnav is equally at fault in the marriage fiasco. Where on one hand the CV's have given us a regressive mentality like Dadi on the other they balanced it out by strong and just characters like Nani and Buaji👍🏼.

It was good to see NK back and the family excited about the wedding preparations. Skeletons of the past seem to be knocking on Garima's door and she takes out her anger and frustration on Khushi. Loved Arnav's cool, collected and nonchalant attitude; he is on to dadi and her plans and assures her that irrespective of her games he is going ahead with the shagun and marriage. Loved the confidence with which he walked into the Gupta house and demanded to see Khushi, walks into the room with full haq only to realize how Khushi is being punished for his wrong judgment. This was one of my fav hugs; she just crumbles when she sees him, he may be the cause of all her problems but he is the only one who can give her the comfort, solace and the protection she needs🤗. Arnav's comfort level with the Guptas highlighted when he in true ASR style summons Buaji to be ready for him and his family the next morning. He still thinks everyone is making an issue out of nothing, he truly does not get the need for the rituals to put a stamp of approval on their relationship and feelings but if it is important to Khushi he will do it for her and he spells that out for her today 😃.

Arnav reflecting back on how his actions have caused Khushi pain and humiliation and how she has always continued to stand by him despite his accusations and crude behavior; good choice of FB's and intense remorse in his eyes and expressions was a very done scene👏👏. Again could have been a little longer, but i'll take what we get. So Shyam has made his way back to RM and the creepy snake is lurking around the corridors; is he here to meet Dadi or Anjali? Also can they please not end each impactful episode with Shyam's face?😡 Precap looks promising, while I hope he renders a sincere and heartfelt apology to Khushi for everything he has put her through I do not want him to go down on his knees and begging for forgiveness; please CV's do not make it OTT.

P.S: I have figured out a cost cutting technique for the PH😉; please send Mami on leave for sometime; I do not find her dialogues or expressions funny, she is not needed for the saas bahu drama anymore since Dadi is more than filling in for that and with Shyam coming back lets concentrate on happy souls like NK and strong characters like Nani and Buaji instead.

My favourties parts were 2 particular segments .

Dadi & Bua Face off : Dadi so reminded me of Arnie today. If he has been angst ridden and scarred by that fateful night dadi too seems to have deep scars of her own . She too lost a lot that night and has come back for reasons not known yet. ArHI relationship seems like a reminder of that past which she is desperately trying to rectify. Like Arnie , her razor tongue is her best weapon and maybe a shatir dimaag as well. Bua is the no nonsense women who woudl never allow such behaviour stood up to back her Sanka Devi declaring the marriage to be cancelled. Here bua reminded me of Khushi a person who thinks from the heart , stands up for what she believes in and makes decisions in haste. Dadi & bua made for each other , you think .

I am waiting for his "Maine tum ko to sorry bol diya but I know I will never be able to forgive myself " This was a fantastic scene and very well shot. the best part it was not rushed. Really liked it.

The ArHi journey continues. Testing times for both these lovers and I am simply loving it.

Last statement on Daiyaa Ho - Has his shirt size increased further ? He looks more beefed up than before ...Trying to copy a certian someone not mentioned on this thread ???/
