Urgent!

Dear IF Friends,

Given that the story is back on track, IPK is in bloom again, the avaerage TRP does not make much sense..

It is important that we provide honest feedback to makers of the show.
I believe that larger viewership of this show is on Internet whether one lives in India or Outside

Reason? - Romance, yaar! Many people cannot watch the show in presence of their parentsor the parents can't watch with their kids when such intimate relationships are being discussed or portrayed.. so when we drool, fume or love... we may want to be uninhibited.. thus..most may prefer to watch it on Internet..

Or, internationally, due to time difference people prefer watching it on Internet.

Now SP's sites are very slow so, they don't ever see the real Internet viewership as people opt for alternatives..

Your fast, furious and honest response to this poll will help provide feedback to Gul and Chanel.

I have a request- Cant we add the viewrs outside of INDIA to TRP??😃

I dont believe in TRPs..! It upsets me! It is not the real indicator of the viewership! I live in India but the kind of work schedule I have, I often end up watching the show on internet only! REPEATED watches!!!

And you are right! The Star player is very slow.. they never update and upload the episodes on time! So I frantically search for any other site that has a decent video quality!
Also, I have many friends and family members who follow the show religiously but prefer not to watch it on TV, for reasons mentioned above in the main post!
So TRPs tell a different story altogether!!

Reside outside India, watch on TV daily plus internet...plus repeats n even resord it...email SP too..but they dont care :( tfs

Firstly Romance has absolutely nothing to do with the constant abysmal performance in the TRP charts. Rather Romace is the fact that makes our show boost it's TRPs. Diwali night, sangetth, theri meri dance etc brought in 4+ TRPs only because of the potential romance. This show's USP entirely depends on Arnav and Khuhi's interactions.

Falling of TRps is due to

1)no solid foundation to the current track. Arnav is getting scott free without any potential 'repentance' track after everything happened between him and Khuhsi. Many people were waiting for a track where Arnav redeems himself infront of Khuhsi but we saw the complete opposite. It's the fustration that's coming off. People don't want to see this track where Khushi is at the brunt of everything. Bus.

BV, BALH topping charts are showing intence repentance tracks from male leads. So I guess I rest my case.

The CVs need to show what people want to see. They need to get ready to face low TRPs if they refuse to listen to public demands. It's the harsh truth.

2) the lack of promotions.

You are right..

That's why these numbers will help tell the true story to SP, I hope..

If they count only TRPs then the show will be threatened..😭

We need to repeatedly remind them that the viewership is bigger than what the TRPs. show..

i watch ipk on tv & internet daily...
but i don't know whether they take d viewers from south to count trp's...

I live alone and outside India.. no way I can afford cable!

So no option but to watch on the Internet.

The SP site doesn't even work outside India, I have to watch on other sites..

It would be great if SP would fix that somehow and track viewers there!

TRP is stupid.. especially since the meter is installed in random homes. I don't even know how they choose the samples, are they a good indicator of the population in India? Clearly not! I don't think they would take IPK off air though. SP knows IPK has a huge fan following.

But yeah, let's please not say that people dont watch it live on TV because of the romance... as it is, we rarely get any.. and if we start saying TRPs are low because of romance, then they will stop even that!!!! 😕
