i liked your rant a lot. funny break in storytelling the whole episode. uncomfortable. and frankly for a dour one such as myself, too much colour and too many plastic flowers. too too sweet. not good for someone with diabetes. papad ka dukhda. rakhi last year was much nicer, integral to story too. but i guess after the last few days of fabulous episodes i can live with a downer.

A special bond, a special day made even more special by this on-screen bro-sis jodi. Made me emotional, a person who has witnessed such occasions from a distance, being an only child. me too single child though had lotsa nalayak cousins😉😉

Their off-screen chemistry spilling over & making it even more memorable.

The pic taken by NK will be a reminder of pleasant memories, during tough times which lie ahead.

The song " Meri saanson mein " added a magical touch to the proceedings, esp the male version 😃

Now some weird thoughts/ kostins on the episode ( Sorry Archu, thoda weird mood hai isliye pehle se maafi mang rahi hoon 😆 ) no sorry plzzz i ask everyday...

- Why was Anjali so shocked to see Aakash & NK, they have worn Indian wear earlier as well

- Why was Khushi suddenly extra bubbly & was smiling a bit too much. Looked a bit exaggerated to me 😕 No consistency from the day before👍🏼

- Yeh HP ki toh main 😡 Pehle ASR ke saamne mooh nahi khulta tha, aur ab bin maangi advice de raha hai. Liked when ASR scolded him. 😆😆😆

- How did Khushi get the FB where Anjali gifted the kurta to Arnav, she was not present there at that moment 😕 😕 Kal hi post production team ki tareef kari aur dekho aaj kya kiya... i thought its only me who was confussed

- Khushi back to CIDgiri 😲 Arre bhai, CID is a very popular show on another channel aur iski TRP bhi bahut acchi hai. Mr.Dhokla, kindly stick to ur own genre puhleej this girl will never learn her lessons...why cant she concentrate on her yummy husband???

- Archu agree with u on the family preparation scene. Very filmy & cliched look it gave

- Mr.Khan, what was goin on between the lover boys during the shoot of this Rakhi sequence ?? C'mon tells me 😉 I caught Barun's smiles & naughty looks in so many shots 😆

- Abt Khushi's " O " reaction when she saw him in kurta... Well, I have a few reservations but will not mention here otherwise Shweta bolegi ki uski Khushi ke peeche padi rehti hoon main hamesha 😆 😆

Chalo bahut hua. Finally a though on the man in white 😍 I was dreading this moment ever since Priya told me of Mishti's spoiler. And when I saw the SBS video I was so so relieved. But to watch the same happen in the episode, the way it was executed, his entry, his discomfort " Not Sure " " Itna bura lag raha hoon kya " " Sab log mujhe kyun dekh rahe hain " Thanks to Gul, Janaki, Arshad & to the man who carried it off so brilliantly, with the oomph & hotness in place 👏 👏

A beautiful episode staged around the festival of Rakshabandhan and the bonding between a sister and her brothers!

I know the song in the beginning of my post was orginally picturised on a mother-son duo, but I felt the song was very apt for the Raizadas' !Anjali di is undoubtedly the aankhon ka tara of her three younger brothers,while her chanda and sooraj is her beloved Chhotey!

Moving on to the episode,starts off with mamiji bhelcoming home her Aakas bitwa!

Well,mamiji I'd like to say bhelcomes baick to u alongwith ur Aakas bitwa! And a hello hi to ur baady doubles!

Looks like Aakash is still khafa-khafa and hasnt really missed his wifey that much!

Mumbai-Delhi ki doori unfortunately didnt turn to nazdeeki for him atleast.

Moving on,think of the devil & the handsome,suave,sexy devil is back home with his lovely wife,looking good in a new anarkali suit! Why the red bangles with maroon n beige dress,Khushi?😕 Doesnt look like Khushi n Arnav have spoken to each other after the showdown at GH the previous evening.

Mamiji wants to send Khoon bhari taang to her maternity home after Phati sadi! Mamiji,when was the last time u visited urs? Or is mamaji visiting his sasural on ur behalf?

Naniji enquires about babuji's health while Paayal enquires about buaji. And Khushi enquires about di. Noticed the look Arnav gives to Khushi when she tells mamiji that buaji is fine now and doesnt need anyone to look after her.

After all the enquiries are over,NK announces that he has a plan for di! Poor guy! Koi ruka hi nahi uska plan sunne k liye!But NK being NK doesnt take that to heart.

He's busy trying to find out whether the festival is called kakshabandhan or rakeshbandhan!😛

Khushi goes to meet Anjali and informs her that buaji has sent a raksha dhaga for her. Anjali curtly tells her that she would prefer to wear it on her own than have Khushi tie it on her wrist. Next,when Khushi asks her about the gift,she tells her indirectly that all she wants is to spend some quality time with her Chhotey,which she thinks,she's not getting to spend,thanks to Khushiji! All this after Chhotey came back to Shantivan that night specially to have the kheer she made and share her joys with her! 😡

HP accidently drops Arnav's kurta,which Khushi notices. Poor HP! Arnav se kitna darta hai! Arnav nahi hai tab bhi kurte k girne par itna dar gaya!

Khushi realizes that di always wanted Arnavji to wear the said kurta and so she asks Nanheji to convince Arnavji to wear it,coz she knows her lard governer will not listen to her,the poor abla nari!

I loved the small convo between NK & Arnav! Esp. loved that NK imitated Arnav by crossings his arms. If there is someone apart from di n Khushi who can tame ASR it is NK. Period. ASR may hate and loathe NK,but he knows banda baatein sahi karta hai!So he ends up doing what NK wants,sometimes,that is.

Anyways, the brothers get gifts for their sister while HP,the bhabhis,naniji, mamiji and of course,NK & Aakash help with the Rakshabandhan preparations, be it decorating the mandir or preparing sweets! Everyone does their best to please Anjali bitiya/di. 👏

Anjali bitiya and nani descend the stairs to find light at the end of the dark, the well lit and well decorated temple area,which is her surprise no.1! Surprise no.2 being Aakash bitwa in the same mustard kurta which NK had worn during Raksha pooja and NK in a maroon kurta,looking awesome! And the biggest,bilaakbuster surprise no.3 is papad ka tukda in a white kurta n churidar.

Shall I b honest? Yes,I shall be! Arnav looked good in the kurta-churidar.White color always suits him,but he would have looked much better had it been a sherwani or a heavy kurta like the one which Aakash n NK were wearing in the same or dark color. Heck! Even a chikankari work wala cotton kurta with the first 3 buttons left open would have done wonders for both Khushi n the fandom!😍 But I dont know y? Maybe bcoz this kurta was way too simple or may b coz it had a collar, he didnt look that great. IMHO,had he worn the white shirt,like last Rakshabandhan, he would have looked awesome!

Anjali di is exhilarated to see Chhotey in the kurta which she ha gifted him long back! They hav a lovely conversation! Arnav's dialogue writer,kudos!👏 After which the rakshabandhan pooja n celebrations begin. Like last rakshabandhan, this time the bond between Arnav & Khushi is witnessed by a smiling Khushi.

Last rakshabandhan... what a turn over of circumstances it has been for Arnav & Anjali. Last year,it was Anjali who had a happy married life n a husband she loved while Arnav was alone,lonely,in denial of his love for Khushi.

This year,its Arnav who is happily married(yes,he's happy with the marriage, despite whatever has been happening of late) n he has a lovely wife, one whom he loves dearly and he's sure that she loves him as much!While Anjali is the one who is lonely n in denial,she still hasnt accepted that Shyam is what Khushi n Paayal have said he's like. What a change!

Anyways,so the rakhi tying,mithai feeding,gifts exchange later Anjali gets a phonecall and she goes somewhere.

Arnav,meanwhile recieves some boxes from Aman. OMG! HP ne kya khaya? Was it the laddoo? Or was it something else that gave him so much courage that he told Arnav that if he isnt comfortable,he should change his outfit! 😲

Anyways,Arnav shuts him up n asks him to call Khushi on his behalf.

Aaj kal Khushiji k liye bhi di sabse zyada zaroori hai,Arnavji se bhi zyada! So she first goes to give aarti ki thaali to Anjali. When she cant find Anjali in her room,she goes downstairs and we now know,thanks to the coming up scene which later turned into the precap,that she goes out of the house to look for di and spots her talking to someone hidden behind a tree! Phew!

Talking about performances, Barun,Sanaya,Daljeet and of course,Karan were outstanding! 👏Utkarshaji,Deepali n Jayshreeji were fab!👏Akshay-welcome back!

Talking about apparel, there was a burst of color,since Akash was in yellow,NK in maroon,Anjali n Paayal in pink n purple,mamiji in green n Khushi looking gorgeous in that orange-red saree! 👏 Blouse kahin dekha hua hai,kahaan yaad nahi aa raha.🤔

Waiting for Arnav to b back to his suited-booted avatar and hopefully he will get a nice shervani for the 2nd marriage,jab hogi tab!

Link..i dint see any lift!! Only the first two dhamakas..!!!

There isn't a shot of him lifting her... I saw the same video.. But he does bends to pick her up.. Check the later half of the segment.. in their offscreen part... I feel we do have a lift.. Agar assumption galat hua to no tomatoes and sandals pleejj.. 😳😆
