So the directors decided to directly swing from the tear jerking episode of yesterday 😭 to a lighthearted and cheerful one of Rakshabandhan 😊 ... it was a complete contrast...

Although Arhi were there almost in every frame they hardly interacted 🤔...

I wish the episode had started with the happenings at GH 😍... even without dialogues ... only expressions of Arhi would have done awesomely 😍... they don't need words... their eyes/expressions do all the talking 👍🏼 ...just to show how happy Arnav was to carry his DIL KI DHARKAN 😍... his princess back to his palace 😍 ...ISN'T THAT WHAT WE ALL LOVE TO SEE?? ... we missed something 👎🏼...

I was just looking at the family pics shot by NK and posted here by our darling Nia ...

In the first our Arnav Anjali are together with Devi maiyya blessing them ... so NO seperation for them ever 👍🏼👏...

Coming to the next one we have Arnav seperated from Khushi by maamiji and Anjali 👎🏼...and the last one has Khushi between Payash 👎🏼... is this any indication of the things to come ???😲😒

Will wait for the experts' views...

Pune remained qiuet and normal today... thanks to all for their prayers...

Strict curtailment of movements of students ouitside the premises has lead to everyone hitting the net ... server has become slow and looks like it'll crash any moment

Grow up, dear! Go get a life, even if it is one with Shyam! Some mistakes are your own to make.

Res - not sure I'll write anything today as I'm flowing in and out of consciousness after seeing Arnav in that kurta pyjama

In the mean time, I'll leave you with a little anecdote;

IPKKND with the family

On Screen: Arnav walks down the stairs in his kurta-pyjama.

My Mum: *sqeals* awww he wore a kurta pyjama for her. Changa ladga ya haana, better than his suits. Your dad used to have one just like that *blushes*

Me: (trying to hide my grin) hmmm

My Friend: oh he looks quite nice in Indian gear, he's quite good looking.

Me: STAY AWAY!! He's mine, you only started watching it yesterday

Great analysis, everyone.👏 Well done!!

Quick pointers:

--- Tension B/w Khushi and Arnav continues. Arnav very aware of Khushi's misinformation about Buaji's to the entire family. Looks disapprovingly at her when she lies to cover up her previous lies.

--- Tension B/w Khushi and Anjali.

--- Khushi not feeling comfortable suggesting to Arnav directly to wear a kurta pyjama to make DI happy. The distance and communication gap B/w the almost estranged husband and wife continues.

--- Arnav, later on, quick to pick up where this brilliant idea originally came from.

--- nice family- festival sequences.

--- Arnav looking stunning and resplendent in white kurta pyjama. Sigh!!!

--- Khushi looking lovely in both her new suits. Should have shown Arnav noticing and giving appreciating glances to her.

A promise to love and protect

Aww...that's what I want to say first. It was a simple yet beautiful episode.😳

The highlight of it was of course the brother-sister bond but the episode subtly portrayed the beautiful bonds of love shared by every member of the family.

A mother's happiness on seeing her son, a brother's smile on seeing his brother, a sister's face lighting up on seeing her younger sister, three brother's bonding with each other, a caring nani enquiring about her relatives, a bhabhi's concern for the happiness and well being of her nanand and a pure, beautiful friendship shared by two people.

Raksha Bandhan is a special day for siblings when a brother makes a promise to protect his sister and makes the day special for her and a sister's prays for her brother's good health and well being.

It was Anjali's day and she could demand any gift from her brother as a sister. When Khushi walked in with the Raksha dhaga, Anjali did let her in but she had reservations. She accepted the dhaga for herself and the baby as it was a blessing from devi maiyya, but she didn't allow Khushi to tie it on her wrist. Khushi was the reason her perfect world came crumbling down. She doesn't have enough faith on Khushi to protect her. But it's the intention counts. Whether Anjali trust her or allows her, Khushi will always be there to look out for her.

Her three brothers wanted to make the day special for her in every possible way . She doesn't have to worry about NK or Akash. They are always there, right beside her. Her only concern is her chotey, who she feels is drifting away from her. She is no longer his world; his world is someone else now. Can she just spend some time with her chotey? That's all she wants.

Khushi found out the right way to make the day special for Di. Only Arnav could make it special for her and just a simple gesture from him would do to trick. Khushi went to NK, her best friend who is always there to help her and make things easy for her.

Khushi herself didn't want to go Arnav so she asked NK to pass on the message and he happily delivered the message.

Anjali always wanted her chotey to embrace traditions because she values them. Arnav Singh Raizada, a man who never bends for anyone, can and will always go out of his to make his Di happy. He put on the sherwani his Di gifted him a long time ago even though it made him uncomfortable. He smiled without complaining because his Di smiled. Is it a sign of things to come?

Arnav certainly knows whose idea it was for him to wear the sherwani. His Khushi. Despite their current equation, deep down, she considers him as her husband and his family as her own. While his Di was elated to see him in the sherwani and the rest of his family was equally excited, he was stealing glances towards his wife. He was gloating inside with pride and happiness because it was his Khushi who came up with the perfect surprise for Di. He knows she can't leave him. She is here to be with him forever.

When Khushi saw Arnav walking down the stairs, her face lit up in happiness and excitement. There might be issues, there might be misunderstandings but in moments like these, one can never hide their true feelings.

Anjali wondered whose idea it was but before NK could say anything, Khushi gave the credit to NK. She knows how Anjali feels about her at the moment. She didn't want steal her moment with her brothers.

Anjali tied rakhi to all three of her brothers and they promised to keep her safe.Will she allow them to protect her? Or will she unknowingly embrace the danger, a danger that might destroy her family.

Barun Sobti - Subtlety is your nickname. 😳 And you looked glorious in white. Not just remarkably handsome but very innocent and childlike. Love it when you smile, it lights up your face. 😍

Sanaya Irani - Simply beautiful. 😃 Loved the first outfit. It was a refreshing change from the all primary colors. You looked beautiful in the sari. It was a treat to see Khushi in a sari after a long and the combination of orange and red made you look like a ray of sunshine. Loved your expression when Khushi saw Arnav in sherwani. 😳

It was such a rare day in IPKKND when everyone was well dressed and looked really good. Daljeet, Deepali looked great in their new sarees, Akshay and Karan looked handsome in their sherwanis. Can we hope for some more new outfits for the leads? 😳

Good to see that Akshay has trimmed his beard, it suits him better. It also means that Akash will be reforming soon. 😉 😆

Episode highlights! Rakhi surprise Part 1!

- ❤️NK!!

- NK calling Nannav the DEVIL lol - 😈

- Maami wanting to know Ash's daughter's name... 🤔

- NK's hinglish slip ups 😆

- NK going "whateva" to maami - lol how I wish he did the whole hand/head movement to go with it as well!! 🤣

- Anjali asking Khushi for some brother/sister time - brilliant acting from both Sanaya and Daljeet!

- ❤️ Khushi's FB of Anjali gifting Arnav Kurta Pyjama and him refusing to wear it - very telling scene! He didn't wear it for his sister then, so why now!? And I highly doubt he wore it because of NK lol, that could only mean one thing..he knows it was Khushi who came up with the idea, hence why he made the effort to wear it! If in his sister's happiness lies Khushi's happiness, then what do you think he'll do!? Wow, look how the tables have turned! Before, it was anything for his sister, now it's anything for his sister AND HIS WIFE!

- Khushi's sincerity in wanting to make Anjali happy

- Khushi calling herself "bechari nari" and NK agreeing with it - LOL love their tandem

- NK: Aap Nanav ko bohat acchi tarah pehchanti hein - *thaali thaali* lmao

- NK copying Nanav folding arms! Love their laddishness! ❤️

- The way the camera captured Khushi's spread of joy and excitement whilst preparing the perfect Raksha bhandan, for the happiness of her husband and his sister - such a contrast to the quiet, serene raksha bhandan of the past! The bg musical score was brilliant! ❤️ the whole scene!

- Anjali's child like tone when asking naani about what's being hidden..

- "aaj ka din itna adhera kyun hein naani" - *lights switch on*

- Anjali's genuine happiness and excitement at seeing all the preparations!

Episode highlights - Rakhi surprise Part 2!

- Khushi soaking up Anjali's happiness

- The two brothers, NK and Akaash making their entrance, laughing and joyful!

- LOL the entire family in shock, surprised at the dark horse's entrance - their mouths couldn't open any wider!!

Pmsl!! Khushi, open that mouth any wider, then we'll be having a drool fest!!
