Whatever Arnav does, it certainly creates an uproar but I was a little surprised to see the word 'cringe'. 😆 I know that a lot people of don't want to see a lovey-dovey Arnav. I don't want to see a mushy Arnav either. I have watched a couple of other soaps before and I have noticed that when the antiheroes of soaps go through a transformation, the cvs can't keep the character sketch intact and the romantic scenes become very cheesy.

As an actor, he does have his off-days. I can't deny that. I am sure it's not just him but it happens with every actor out there. At work or at school, we under perform at times, I guess the same can happen to actors as well.

I guess it happens more with soap actors because they work on the same set, with same people, 12 hours a day, 29 days a month...so it can get monotonous, they can get fatigued and maybe there are days when things just don't click. Sometimes a particular scene may not work due to the screenplay.

He may not be the greatest actor out there...but he is certainly very good. He has a long way to go but I am sure he'll get even better with time.

Like I said...you're entitled to your opinion...not going to hold it against you in any way. 😳

I sincerely hope you do not explode into a myriad of colours when the very same Mr Sobti is polished, varnished and buffed and launched into the stratosphere of BW fame and stardom

My point is also the same. Barun's has shown traces of brilliance which needs to be nurtured.

We should give him time. It's not right to call him the best just yet, it will be an insult to him! His best is yet to come. Let us not limit his talent instead try to encourage him to do better!😊

im sorry but though he is better than many other tv actors i dont believe he is the best. there are ppl much better than him. There are days when he is good and days when he is great but saying that he is the best is a biased opinion.

Kudos to that. Barun at an unpolished stage is Rocking it. Unpolished meaning just got an Upgrade

coming to the debate While There r Good actors out there in Bollywood bt he is the best there is on television right now and well Barun is still a Kid via Age compered to the actors who r ruling B town and can actually be said good actors compared to barun. SO, Barun has a Lot of time Before him literally. and for the present Dilli is not Far for Barun even at his unpolished state.

when it comes to the TM ur Stone face comment is Very Offensive and i think many hasn't noticed that Comment yet. I really didn't like it. U want to express ur thought do it, bt dont be offensive.

And for the progress of this thread well it is for Barun and Mejority r here only Praising This Man with Extraordinary talent Filled inside of Him BARUN SOBTI. Dont know if u want to create negativity toward Barun(some of ur words suggest it) or waht,

Surpise to see people having healthy debate 😊

When i started watching IPK it was mostly for Khushi/SI , and initialy i used to ask my friend - who is this guy, they should have taken a well known actor to potray ASR and my friend tells me he is atleast better than some of the others .I used to think aajkal TV industry ko ho kya gaya hai kisi ko bhi lead bana dete hain ...then few episodes later i started liking ASR too , oh boy he can act ...some of the scenes were really very well inacted ...

So yes HE CAN ACT!!! but then what we see on screen is a combination of good direction , well written scenes , co-actors , camera work , lightings ,make up, costumes,etc etc. Right now i cannot compare him to any of the bollywood ACTORS ,he has a looong way to go and hopefully with more experience he will do good.

Agree that the shaven and cleaned up face are a must.

But I am against the hair cut. The long gelled up hair of ASR gives a m'man of the house' look to ASR. I loved them during havan scenes. It highlights the age difference of khushi and Arnav and I feel it matches with the characterization.

Ya I can see curses and tomatoes coming from either side of the forum😉. Still i stick my point, no hair cut please. Just trim it sobti jaan.

Since it's a 'debate', I am entitled to respect your opinion 😆 I still stick with my Remarquable De Diwali Hair cut!
