i think even the readers are affected with this
i have book marked some 10 FF none get updated
its like once a month
so i guess the viewers, readers & writers all are equally affected by the show
being a reader & viewers i can feel the lost magic not coming back too soon

r u new to this forum

coz as far as the bashing nd sending hate mssgs is concerned

and as far as this forum being flooded with negative posts r concerned

it had been the case since day 1 dude

b4 the hate mssgs were for shyam

the bashing posts were many times for mamiji shyam and even after a few epis there had been many ASR AND KHUSHI bashing posts as well

IPKKND FORUM IS THE ONLY FORUM IN I-f WHICH DOESNT GIVE THE TRUE PIC ABT HOW MUCH THE SHW IS BEING LUVED SINCE DAY 1

First of all Navin has been on IF for a long time, and she has been giving out quality FF's and comments as a member so your presumptions are not only rude but baseless.

Secondly, it is when a fandom is excited or worked up about a show that they bother to interact via FF's or posts which is her point that NOW most of the authors don't feel inspired enough to get worked up over a scene.

And thirdly, seriously 'caps lock' - Again?

so what freaking so called inspiration r u tking abt

IPKKND CVS R NOT A FOOL to get carried away with all this

and the shw is still running successfully with good trps nd the freshness and essence is STILL THERE

if the forum members here r the MOST PATHETIC SPECIES IN THE WORLD

then thats not 4lions or gautams or cvs or actors fault

neither its our fault who jus want to enjoy the only shw on tv which is equally popular trpwise and on the net and cum to i-f to discuss our fav sces

FOR US THE CRAZE IS STILL THERE ...we still wait for every epi...

____________________________________________________________________

Now do you want someone to get you a dictionary too? The inspiration she is talking about is the craze we went through when the kiss promo aired during the wedding stuff, the moment we all held our collective breath when ASR found out about KKG's engagement - the intensity - where every character had a role and wasn't sniveling into their aachal's.

As for your disdain for the forum member's well - You realize it makes no sense as it is the fans or the lack of them who really decide the fate of the show, you really think the CV's didn't do an about turn recently with Anji's character? Please, as if.

As as for your 'US' --- do remember you are a noted minority - or else the forum wudn't be flooded with criticism --- it would be flooded with OMG posts. Reality Check.

WHAT DANGER R U TKING BT TO CVS

LOLZZZ

they r most secure

COZ THEY HV THE BEST CAST WITH BEST CREW WITH BEST CVS WITH THEIR SHW AIRING IN INDIAS NO 1 CHANNEL BACKED BY GOOD TRPS

if thats a danger ,,,,,,,,then whats a secured position for a PH...i wonder

____________________________________________________________________

They have all that --- but fail to utilize those same talents which is reflected in their dipping TRP's. The PH should worry --- going from a consistent topper to a struggling 2.6-r can't be easy.
____________________________________________________________________

i-f fans DOESNT EVEN COMPRISE 2% of THE WHOLE IPKKND FANBASE...ND I M GLAD FOR THAT

what i really find disgusting that the bashing of the shw is ALWAYS JUSTIFIED HERE...putting the blame on 4lions...gautam...cvs...actors

as if all r culprits and the bashers of i-f r the angels

whereas ITS COMPLETELY THE OTHER WAY ROUND

____________________________________________________________________

There is a difference between bashing an criticism. I suggest you look it up.

THE BOTTOMLINE IS

THE SHOW HAS ALWAYS ROCKED AND IS STILL ROCKING AND WILL ROCK TILL THE LAST EPI WHICH ISNT CUMING VERY SOON

ND STOP JUDGING THE FAN REACTON BY THE POSTS IN THIS JUNGLE FORUM WHICH HAD BEEN EXACTLY LIKE THIS SINCE DAY 1

so what change r u guys tking abt nyways

when was this forum a peaceful place nyways

it had always been one day praises and one day bashing

so why singling out this phase only

ND NO1 IS IN DANGER...THE CVS AND ACTORS AND CHANNEL R VERY CONFIDENT AND WILL KEEP ROCKING THE SHW

AND CUMING TO US THE POSITIVE MEMEBERS...WE HV LEARNT HOW TO SURVIVE IN THIS DIRTY PLACE ND STILL FIND HAPPINESS IN THE LAST 1 YR EXPERIENCE

ITS THE BASHERS WHO R IN DANGER COZ THEY PANIC IF THEY DONT HV NYTHING TO BASH AFTER AN EPI

____________________________________________________________________

You do realize you make absolutely no sense, right? Calling a spade a spade is not bashing, at most it's criticism - blind fandom when the show is obviously lacking in a good story-line as supported by the flailing TRP's is ...well i have a word for it but I won't use it...lets just say it's pretentious.

Navin,

You are SO spot on. IPK has recently lost it's ability to create fantasies and to weave possibilities into the mind of author's - I speak for myself as i say i haven't been inspired to write something good in AGES.

I honestly hope the CV's decide to seriously take a week off if necessary and regroup!

I actually wouldn't mind not seeing IPKKND for a week. I'd rather see the quality show back on screen, than see them deliver confusing tracks and butcher the amazing characters.

So if taking a break for a week means they can get their head straight and realise that they can do much better (and they can!!) then as a fan of this show from the very start, I beg the team to take that break.

Abby-Jeran, wake up, smell the coffee and then take a hike! You sound delusional to me right now. Napstermonster, all I can say is - Thank you! You've nailed what's wrong with IPKKND very well. 👏 I really hope that someone from the PH is aware of this post of yours, although I seriously doubt they'd heed your advice. I keep getting this feeling that they consider themselves far too superior in their thinking to pay any serious attention to what their audience (read, stupid laymen) has to say. Their superiority complex and fragile egos can't handle reality too well. It's SO sad to see our beloved IPKKND being massacred. Hope this PH learns the importance of consistency in a serial all the way to the end. But if wishes were horses... All I know, as of now, is that I don't want to watch any more serials made by this PH 'cause I know they can't finish properly what they start . Anyways. Thanks yet again Napstermonster for voicing what many of us feel. 😊

P.S: Nmyra, thanks for your post as well. You replied to Abby_Jeran's delusional post in a befitting manner. 👏

Inability and an incapacity to ever aspire to write anything worthwhile renders me inert on this subject matter

So I take my hat off to the many authors on this Forum, whose works are inspired, captivating and without a doubt earning my admiration for such talented and wonderful writers IPKKND has been the focal point of such writers' works allowing their creative juices to flow without inhibitions Eloquent, emotional and beautiful writers some of you are You always grab my attention and leave me wanting more and more So napster what you say is the truth and nothing but the truth I miss reading the works of a fair few mindblowing authors I blame the CVs and the PH of IPKKND They have alot to answer for

I admire you for your clear enunciation of what has been missing on the show for the past 2 months or so. Its a sad fact that any constructive criticism is viewed as bashing/ hate mail!

I feel so discouraged as a viewer who was an ardent fan of this show. A few years ago when my Mom used to watch several shows (8 to 11 pm monopoly at home!!) I used to tease her about the inanity and inconsistency of the plots.

Which was why I never expected that I could get so hooked on a TV serial. IPKKND came as a breath of fresh air, with its sharp characterizations, fast paced plot development, and (within the confines of soapdom)- a coherent and believable plot line.

There was a time when I would schedule any weekday evening outings to ensure I did not miss the 8pm slot. If by chance I did, I did my very best to catch the late night repeat or at least the Saturday repeat without fail.

The sad fact is, now I don't feel that upset anymore if I miss a few episodes. I find myself thinking that its no big deal, since the story gets mired in irrelevant side issues for weeks on end. And guess what, my Mom gives me a snide grin once in a while when we watch the show together, asking if I don't feel the plot has gone haywire!

As a fan, I want the production house, the director, the script, screenplay & dialogue writers (don't like them passing the buck on each other so naming all of them!!) to wake up and smell the coffee. I believe the show really needs its articulate fans who value the plot and bother to point out when the level drops. Sadly, the creative team seems to feel that 'dekhna hai to dekho' is an apt response rather than fixing the malaise that has set in.

By the way, your post on the other thread- on Barun losing weight- was freaking HILARIOUS! Pricelessly funny!! I was grinning like a cheshire cat and have actually bookmarked that page so that I have it ready to read for laughs!

Although I have landed on the 12th page or so, I feel your spot-on post is absolutely worth replying to.

Writing is a passion. Yet, it needs inspiration. Your post reminds me of Allen Curnow's poem 'Continuum' where he relays his hopelessness because of the writer's block that had instilled inside him.

I had joined this Forum pretty late. After the show began its slow gradual downfall, I dare say. But I believe you when you say that the written pieces used to be filled with imagination and inspiration. I myself have browsed through many indexes and you might have already guessed what I found: the old-is-gold saying staring back at me.

Before I started watching IPKKND, I had well transgressed from this eastern soul in me. And after watching it, well, I must say the CVs made me regret my decision after they hooked me on to a promising track, just to deviate in the middle. I have always wanted to keep a string attached to my eastern self, and that was one of the reasons I have immensely enjoyed reading the splendid stuff many have dished out here. I'm not one of those who just pick up an off-the-shelf book full of PMSing teenagers who just got dumped by Mickey Mouse.

As for my own ardent zeal for writing, believe me when I say I started some three to four OS/FFs, just to face a blank mind staring at a blank Word page. And I thought- why is it so when I HAVE written fan fictions before seeking inspiration from the deep characters which could be explored in so many ways? And today I thank you for making me realize that it's not just the writer inside me going haywire- it's the inspiration.
