Yesterday I said I was at a loss for words to describe IPK...today I am at the samejuncture.. The point is I have got my stories but don't know whether I am taking the right route..let's turn to anjali first to understand her.

Anjali-
anjali has not suddenly turned delusional.. She was always like this.. Anybody who disturbs her apple cart ,she cold shoulders them.. Though in her subconscious she knows that her brother is right.. She is in denial on the outside that her world is crumbling.. Today instead of mythological story.. I bring to you the story of Gulbadan.. The sister of Humayun ...
Gulbadan was the only sister of four brothers born to Babur.. Humayun was the oldest with kamran, Askari and Hindal the other three brothers .. She grew up in Kabul along with them but with special attachment to Humayun and Hindal ..she was the apple of the eye of the entire palace and got her things done by cajoling or threatening people to unleash her father's or brother's authority on them...But here life went in to pieces when she was kidnapped by a Pashtun tribe leader kasif .. Who ultimately married here..the kidnapping couldnt be prevented.. As Humayun was at that time in India along with his father conquering..the other brothers were ruling the kingdom in their father's stead... So gulbadan settled to to be the chief's wife only to be brought back to the palace by her brothers.. Who killed the Pashtun chief..she went to into denial that her life was turned into circus.. She closed the doors of the palace harem even to her brothers.. She felt that she had been used enough in the game of the thrones by the men in her life..she refused to be the loving gulbadan .. But this is the very gulbadan in her later stages of life was a strength to humanyun's life when he had lost his kingdom..she was the one who brought haminda, Humayun 's wife into his life.. After brokering peace with Hindal who wanted to marry Hamida too.. She stayed back in akbar's palace after humayaun's death and became his chief advisor in many matters..

I have not given too many details in this story but briefly stated the basics here.. So that we understand anjali briefly.. Sheis broken now.. But she is not a weak character.. She will go through the bad phases which will turn her into a strength to arnav.. Initially she will turn grey and try to bring back Shyam in her life.. But the moment she realises that whatever is being done is for her good .. And the first hour when her anger is spent ,delusions broken.. She will return to being who she is.. The soft exterior with steel interiors .. Well versed at manipulations..

Arnav and khushi..
First I am going to paste what I written on my Sunday thread.. Develop on this further to explain. The khushi - arnav story through mythology..the following was how shiva explained. His love to Parvathy in words ..
The second one is not exactly a story but a teaching of our teachers passed on as to what was shiva's views of love towards his wife..
It is said that shiva did not speak a word in between the time that sati( first wife)passed away and Parvathy came in to his life..When Parvathy came into his life.. SHe became his wife, his mother, his child, his attendant, his strength, his lover, his everything basically.. But initially he didn't express this to her..the time he expressed this to her was when she came into his life after passing through his series of tests,.earning his trust that she would be able to live with him braving all the difficulties that his life path is strewn with..

Let's go through that part of the conversation and relate this to IPK...so what did shiva feel for his wife and what did he call love..He tells Parvathy that when she comes with his food.. She is Annapurna who satisfies his hunger.. So that is love for him..he tells her that when she comes as kamakhya( goddess of pleasure)riding in with desire.. She fulfills that hunger in him..he calls that emotion as love..he says that when she comes to him as gauri.. Who allows him to dominate and plays along with it lovingly. Attending to all his needs. Knowing very well that she cannot be dominated .. He calls this awareness love..He says that when she comes to him as Durga Carrying weapons.. He feels safe, secure, Protected.. He feels her strength to empower him by defending him..He feels love at this stage .. For Giving him the power to feel safe.. He calls this love..he sees her as kali who is not afraid of being ridiculed, who is not afraid of being judged , not afraid of being vulnerable , not afraid of being herself,, he calls that love..He calls his feeling as love when he sees her beautiful face as lalitha, violent one as chandika and awesome one as bhairavi.. He calls it love as he tells her that he sees the satya that is the truth On her face..the honesty that has opened his locked heart and allowed him to himself?. So he calls her his mirror that is Parvathy darpan.. Who holds the mirror to him and allows satya or the truth to be viewed from her eyes too.. There by filling him with the ultimate knowledge.. He says he is in love with that too

After reading this do I need to relate ..the conversation seem to reflect all that arnav and khushi feel for each other.. Khushi has been arnav's annapurna, kamakhya, gauri, lalitha, Durga etc.. She has been the mirror in his life whenever truth needed to be told,.. So has been the khushi darpan in his life.. Look at what she told him .. To look at her eyes and face and read the truth..read he did as shiva did.. And understood the ultimate truth their wives are trying to convey.. There by accepting in front of everybody that his wife was one of the important person in his life who he will trust without proof.look at khushi's expression at his acceptance.. Wow..now no one dare mess up with khushi's life as there is her personal shiva to protect her .. That is her arnav..so aren't they the shiv-Parvathy jodi of the television screen

Shiva in the earlier stages of his life was not called shiva but was called shava.. Do u know why that happened.. Because he lived in the cemetery with all the dead bodies around.. Wow.. Right.. In symbolic terms it can be called as the body devoid of emotions...so shava( dead body) turned into Shiva ( an householder). Who filled emotions in this dead body? ..first it was sati and then it was parvathi... Sati died very early.. When she crossed the shiva rekha to go to her father's Havan inspite of strictures and advice from shiva that she was not welcome in her paternal home. The death of sati turned shiva back to shava... For the story in between refer to my excerpt from my Sunday analysis...Parvathy who married shiva after many obstacles.. Was initially reluctant to enter kailasa.. She thought she was the reason that shava has turned shiva.. Shiva who used to be with ganas ( ganas are shiva devotees who turned family for shiva) was forced to give time to her .. Thereby abandoning them ...shiva allayed her fears.. U know how? Not by words ...but By holding her hands initially..giving her jampakusma flowers next( only a wife can have these flowers from her husband)..then lifting her and entering kailas his abode..making her sit next to him in celestial seat..smiling at every turn .. Encouraging her to speak to his ganas there by mitigating her fear of her eating away their time with him.. ..Ultimately making her his better half .. His adharanari...but
After the words of love came from shiva.. Initially it was only actions..Now connect this arnav and khushi's scene yesterday.. Lovely isn't it.. Love needing no words.. But only intents and expressions to get through
we come to the characters who sees a trail oF destruction that the truth has left.. Here's that is NK ...
NK can be compared to hanuman here.. It is hanuman who was witness to both the wars of the epics.. Remember my truth comparison to fire and how fire burned khandavaprstha for the pandavas to build indraprastha ..hanuman was a witness to that burning too..it is hanuman later on who brokered a treaty between the snakes families who survived the carnage in khandaprastha and the pandavas that they will not harm any pandavas at that juncture ..so am I thinking that NK will have an important role to play in putting matters right?.. In between payash who have lost the trust factor in their marriage because of this truth carnage.. Or else will he make mami think in being sympathetic towards the Gupta sisters by opening her eyes to the truth..only time will give the answers

Four characters caught my attention today.

Anjali (Gandhari) - They say love is blind, be it that of a wife's for her husband or in Gandhari's case, for her son, Duryodhan. She already heard about her son's misdeeds towards Pandavas and she must have known/sensed his egoistic and evil nature too. But, she refused to acknowledge it. What made her ignore things? It's nothing but the blind-fold, not the physical one around her eyes, but the internal one which allows you to see only what you want to see, all else is hidden.

Today, Anjali is in the same situation. She's come to know horrible truths about her husband that no woman would ever want to know and that too by none other than close to her, Khushi and NK. The closest to her, Arnav, her chote, acted upon it and threw her husband out of the house. Facts have registered in her mind, yet, she's blinded by her supposed love for her husband and is unwilling to accept the situation, and is pining for her Shyam.

Arnav (Yudhisthir) Yudhisthir is one person whom people always trusted and relied upon. He was the upholder of truth and always did what is right. After the Mahabharat war, pandavas go to pay their respects to Gandhari and Dhritarashtra. Yudhisthir is so pained by the all the destruction caused by pandavas of their own kith and kin and many losses faced by large number of families. But all he did was to follow the instructions of Lord Krishna, trust him implicitly and just do his job.

Arnav today declared that he trusts Khushi completely and based on her facts, did what he had to do i.e. forcefully remove Shyam out of RM. Though it may pain his Di, it had to be done for the sake of her and that of her unborn child.
Khushi (Lord Krishna) Today there's been a bit of role reversal. I thought of Khushi as more in the role of Krishna. Let me explain. Going back to the scene where pandavas went to meet Gandhari and Dhritarashtra after the war ends. Gandhari is obviously in deep distress; can anyone imagine the pain of a mother who lost all her sons in the war? Whom does she blame for all this? Was it Bheema because he killed her most favorite and beloved son, Duryodhan? No, it was none other than Lord Krishna. She tells him he could have stopped the war if he wanted to, but did not. She curses him saying his own clan will be destroyed just as hers was. It came true because Gandhari was a very pious woman.

Whom does Anjali blame in all this? Though Arnav was the one to kick out Shyam, the FB clearly shows that her thoughts are all on Khushi. It's Khushi and Khushi alone whom Arnav trusted (despite lack of proof) and it's Khushi who's being held responsible for her utter loneliness today. We just have to wait and see what Anjali has in store for all of us.

NK (Vidura, the outsider) what made me say this? What did Vidura do for his brother, Dhritarashtra? He warned him that his sons were going against dharma and those against Lord Krishna and pandavas will face downfall and destruction; this is inevitable. Yet nobody listened to him as he's the outsider.

NK, not only supported Khushi throughout (he was on the side of Dharma), he tried to repeatedly appeal to Anjali to believe him and Khushi and not her husband. He tried many ways to convince the Raizada's, but as he's an outsider, none paid attention to his words; this we saw last week. Today, once again, he's an outsider noticing how pained the family is and yet unable to help them. Anjali wants to be left alone, Akash walks away, Arnav has his Khushi, the Gupta sisters have each other, Mami and Nani are holding each other and who's left all alone in this? Our NK bhai. He will be the one to help mami see things clearly and possibly help Khushi once again to bring the family together; that's our hope.
Bahut Mazaa AayA

I really like the episode a lot today; it touched a chord in me. I felt the pain of this family that's shattered by a deluge of truths. They are all being swept away by emotions and need time to calm down, assimilate facts and then make the right decisions. All the actors were wonderful⭐️.

The silent heart-to-heart communication between Arnav and Khushi is too beautiful to describe in words. They forgive each other, will help each other, heal each other's wounds and stand by each other, no matter what. I've said this previously and will say it again that in silence, the lovers hearts communicate at the deepest core and the understanding there is beyond imagination, it needs no words, shhh, gup chup.

Hats of to the whole IPK team and the actors for giving us such an unforgettable episode 🥳👏👏.

"Closure"

Before I write about the mind blowing episode... I will start with the one small thing that disappointed me today... We have been patiently waiting for 2 months now, for our dear Arnav Singh Raizada to come out of that dirty vest... and how much time have we invested in making scenarios of how the lovely moment should be when he will finally take a bath... And the damn sadist CVs didn't highlight it for even a second !!! Not even one flash of the bathroom... Simply a change of clothes... (not that I'm complaining)... but what a Tai Tai Phish moment !!!
😡 The viewers never got their closure !!😆

Okay, coming back to the episode...

From Anjali's Point of View... Imagine this...

One fine day, as she is performing her daily routine... going to temple, praying for the well being of her beloved husband... with no inkling of the storm brewing up behind her back... suddenly, her world is shattered with what is revealed to her:

1. Husband cheating on her, with brother's wife
2. Brother's wife cheating her with husband
3. Husband has been lying to her for years
4. He was engaged to brother's wife once
5. Husband kidnapped and tried to murder brother for his money and wife
6. Suddenly, brother threw husband out of the house... never to be seen again !!!

Her life was shattered like a broken mirror in millions of pieces... one fine day !

She is in shock... I won't blame her if she would want to be with Shyam... She never got to clear things out with him...
For Anjali, Shyam was the epitome of goodness ! A loving husband, a devoted father, a humble human being... her life was perfect ! And now, because her brother trusts his wife more than he trusts this perfect man... she will never be able to see him, talk to him, feel him next to her !

Anjali never got her closure !

She knows her brother well enough to know that he takes rash decisions in anger... Arnav has not yet explained to her, since how long he has know about Shyam's ugly truth !!!

Her simple "Arnav" was an inclination enough for the viewers to know what is coming...

I remember, during the very first few episodes... when Anjali called him Chhotey, Arnav was quite irritated and he told her "Di... please aap sabke saamne mujhe Chhotey mat kaha kijiye" And Anjali teased him about it.

Today when she called him Arnav, instead of Chhotey, his shock was evident on his face. His sadness was echoed by Khushi. I must say, what a brilliant performance by all 3 of them in this scene.

From Anjali's POV... I can imagine her thinking... or maybe we get to see her saying this out loud...

"Chhotey ab itne bade ho gaye hain ki woh humaari zindagi ka itna bada faisla humse bina poochhe karne lage hain... Ab woh chhotey nahi rahe, ab woh Arnav Singh Raizada hain"

Shyam Manohar Jha was there in each frame of the episode. (Apart from the bedroom scene, of course😉) He left an impression on every one of them ! He touched every heart ! For the Raizada family, it is going to be one hell of a bitter medicine of truth to swallow !

The use of Flashbacks, for each and every member of the family was brilliantly done ! Everyone still in shock... remembering their good times with Shyam Manohar Jha... Akash sitting alone, Maami crying in Naani's lap... Arnav crying on Di's lap, Khushi sitting outside... at the door... wanting to go inside but not able to break the barrier... and NK noticing each and every shattered member of the Raizada family from afar... (what a brilliant touch)... the sea of human emotions beautifully portrayed by all the actors ! What a heart wrenching scene !!! Hats off to the creatives for touching our lives, the way you do !👏👏👏

The Raizada family is broken... how I would love to see Khushi, along with Arnav try to glue them back together... piece by piece... The future track is opened, and it'll be heartening to see them together tending to the family they both love so much.

The last scene...

She went out to the pool, where he was standing with his back turned to her... she gave him the cup of tea and turned to go inside when he held her hand and turned her around to face him...

I'm sorry... she said with her eyes !

I'm sorry... he replied with his eyes !

She hugged him, crying on his shoulder... for what has become of his family...

He hugged her back, silently telling her its not her fault... the truth needed to come out.

He picked her up in his arms and brought her inside their room... Reminded me of their first night together when he threw her out of his room to the pool... today he opened his room, his bed, his life for her... Finally she had her real "grih pravesh" in his life ! What a beautiful scene ! 👏⭐️

What a closure !

He laid her down on the bed, his side of the bed... he pulled bed-cover on her, stood up, turned to go... she held onto his hand... stopped him... they looked at each other... he gulped, her eyes misty, sad... he sat on the bed next to her... their hands joined together near her heart... with his other hand he cups her face once... gust of wind blowing her hair... he removes the locks from her face, cups her face again... she relaxes and closes her eyes... his one hand in her hand, the other on her cheek... she finally sleeps peacefully... radiant in love !

And CUT !

One of the most romantic scenes ever to have been captured on Indian Telly. No dialogs needed. The chemistry between the 2 leads is so evident, so powerful that the viewers are left mesmerized wanting, needing more !

Silence spoke so loudly, words weren't required
.

Thank you Satya... for being here and opening the thread for us ..you render us speechless Satya by whatever little you do post ...like all the others did, can I also say it is Tantastic ??

Both Sathya and Doods are playing hide and seek with us ...
After so many days, weeks and months of missing Arhi we are just starting to get them every day ... but LO !!!...the leads of REDUX thread go missing (detailed analyses by Satya n Doods) ... you are making us equally sad ...

PLEASE do express your selves on the first page,... scattering your pearls of wisdom throughout the entire 3 threads of Redux ( approx 400 pages) may be fun for you but it is very frustrating for the fans of your writing,
I'm missing you buddies...

On second thoughts I wonder if we are taking Satya and Doods too much for granted ...sorry...

I loved today's episode ...😍😍
in spite of all the loopholes, the points missed out by the story-writers, the hurry to get back the lost audience... quoting Doods here
😉

The best emoting was done today by Arnav and Khushi followed by Anjali... they had such little/ no dialogues but spoke volumes just by emoting thru their eyes ...I really thank the creative team for the beautiful Arhi romance they showed today's episode ...
Not a single word was uttered by either Arnav or Khushi to each other, but I could actually
feel each n every emotion they were going thru ...hear everything that was unspoken ... excellent acting by the leads... amazing job by the directors...

overall they were really outstanding  !!!!...

Today was second longest day in IPK land... the last one was the wedding day ...remember ??
That day began on such a happy note..Arnav had just accepted to himself the he was indeed in love with Khushi ... their brief romance... Di's accident...infamous terrace scene... Arnie breaks down in the middle of the road ... Di discovers she is  pregnant ... Akaash gets married, Arnav blackmails and marries Khushi, followed by showdown at RM ...Arnav-shyam confrontation ...OMG ...

The current track is going to be another such long day ...
beginning with Maamiji witnessing  Shyam n Khushi by the poolside, Khushi locates Arnav,...Arnav-Khushi fight gundas n Shyam and manage to escape from the cluches of the baddies...Khushi almost dies, but is revived back to life by Arnav... a long showdown /confrontation at RM- Khushi-NK- Maamiji-Payal against Shyam...famous SLAPs on snake's infamous cheek... Snake thrown out of RM...Anjali heartbroken... Arnav carries Khushi from the poolside into his room and places her on his bed ... but hey !! did  they close one loop here ??

Just imagine what Arnav and Khushi must have gone thru
today ...
The day isn't over in IPK land yet my dears...

Naaniji is yet to begin "aap ki adaalat"...Question hour...

What an awesome beginning to a week yaar ...and I hope it ends like this ...but on the bed this time yaar ...

"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."
- William Congreve

My take today is going to based on what i have stated above.

Today's episode was a masterpiece in terms of execution. The metamorphism was very evident to the keen eyes. I would like to thank Arhimaniac for pointing me towards the idols that represented the future of Anjali and where we are going with the story.

I am not going to go into what happened in the episode today. Rather, i am going to tell you all about what the future holds for Anjali Manohar Jha, Shyam Jha and ofcourse ASR and KKG.

Anjali, She is outwardly delicate, pious, beautiful and fragile, but inwardly she is brimming rhapsody of powerful emotions pain, grief, anger, disillusion and loss. For a regular viewer, the heart bleeds when they see a broken woman like Anjali. But for me, she is a study in contrasts. Everyone in the family sees her through their rose-tinted glasses and the reaction is one of sympathy from everyone including the raizada parivaar.

Gradually, though, i have a feeling that Anjali will start revealing her true nature, with warts-and-all. The bigger picture will slowly and surely reveal to us - with the death of her mother - lost, all the emotions that have been locked up inside her.

I remember a story that my grandmother used to tell me when i was a little girl. Once there lived a frog in a well, which did not know the outside world and his entire world was only inside the well. But the world continues to turn, and there was a vast ocean out there with fascinating creatures and and its water was endless unlike the well. The frog did not know that and he thought that the inside of the well was his universe. This is what Anjali's life is. She is like the frog inside the well. Living in her own little world without ever stepping out to see the truth that lies outside the 4 RM walls.

Now is the time for the true Anjali to come out. Let's see if she will sink or swin once the raizada genes that have been dormant come into play.

Pointers -

1. Anjali will be at her manipulative best. She will make Arnav choose between Khushi and her. This is very evident with her one utterance of "Arnav" If you remember the holi episode, she emotionally manipulates khushi into drinking bhaang. It was a harmless prank but it clearly points out that she knows how to get her own way. And i am dead sure that she will

2. Her devotion for Shyam has taken a beating but it has not been destroyed. She has shut the world out including her brother which makes me think that her devotion will be very cleverly manipulated by the scorned shyam

Shyam Jha is a character that can be defined with too many adjectives - obsessive, manipulative, egotistical, deceiving, powerful, spiteful..etc...etc.. Each of these characteristics define Manohar Jha. These characters are the ones that define a psychopath as well, and Shyam definitely is one. If you look at the character graph of shyam you can clearly see that he has manipulated, lied, deceived and has acted as lord and executioner in his obsession for wealth and beauty.

Shyam's true nature has not be completely revealed to the family yet. Everyone is under the impression that he is only after the wealth of ASR and the beauty of Khushi. What none of the family has seen so far is how far he can go to achieve this. He has already attempted to many times to kill Anjali. His attempt at killing bauji and the torture he inflicted on him is only known to the man who is currently inflicted with a stroke and cannot speak. This truth clearly will need to find a way to come out for the entire parivaar to understand the dark soul that lies within shyam. He is a killer who has no mercy for anyone. He can kill without compunction when he is cornered. He is a psychopath who plans everything meticulously. He is lying low for the time being but when he returns he will be deadlier than ever. "Hell hath no fury like Man scorned" clearly applies to Shyam. We will definitely see him manipulating, and using his power play over Anjali to achieve what he desires. Which is basically the untold wealth of ASR.

Pointers -

1. Shyam will enter into Anjali's life at a point were she can be manipulated to the extent where she will turn against her own brother. Wait and watch, he will clearly do this.

2. For the wealth to be his, he will clearly see his heir/heirs as a hindrance. He will definitely try to harm the little ones. Shyam will be deadly this time around with no escape route open for Anjali or the babies.

Arnav Singh Raizada - The ultimate Mills and Boon hero. Flawed, but powerful. Maxim from Rebecca, Mr. Darcy from pride and prejudice, or any other character that you have fell in love with while reading a romantic novel. He is all of them rolled into one. He epitomizes all those powerful men we read about in romance books. ASR has always reminded me of the heroes that Michelle Reid writes about in all her M&Bs. (Well, you see i am a big M&B fan😲 and i am not ashamed to say it! 🤣). These men are powerful to the outside world and even to their immediate family. They are arrogant, bossy, powerful, strict but inside they are still craving for the one woman whom they can share their inner self with. ASR epitomizes all of this and more.

ASR has finally met his match in Khushi. She is the extreme opposite of what ASR is. ASR loves his family but he equally loves his kushi. His test will be to protect his love beyond the turmoil that life had thrown his way with the revelation of the truth. He will protect and savor the flavor that is kushi and he will try his best to be the ASR that he wants to be. On the other hand, he will not forgive himself for causing his Di so much pain. His emotional support will always be khushi. If you have watched the show as keenly as some of us have done you would realize during his troubled times ASR has always looked for khushi to be his support system. This will be the case in the future too.

Pointers

1. ASR's emotional attayachar has just begun. He is going to be pulled in two extreme directions. What and whom he will choose remains to be seen.

2. ASR will love his wife deeply and now that he has given the ultimate in love, his trust, their bond will not be broken no matter what happens. They will be tied together for eternity.

Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizda - What a mouthful! but so apt. She is the true M&B heroine but is she truly??!. She epitomizes the perfection of a girl. She is DM's perfect child so how can she have any negatives characters to mar her beauty in any away. She is also the self sacrificing, make everyone around happy, look past your problems kind of a person which can be a bit annoying as there is no one that i know of who is like kushi. Even with that she is the character that i love the most. A lot of people love ASR but i have always been fascinated by the character that is Kushi. Pious, adorable, mature (when she needs to be), innocent (it shines through her) and this the character that makes me analyze her more intensely as she is a contrast in contradictions.

She has been the bread winner for the family. Emotional and Moral support for Payal, buaji, amma and the whole gupta parivaar. She is also the one whom naniji entrusted the future bahu of shantivan so that Lavanya could learn about the culture that flows inside RM. She is such a lovable character that it is hard to hate her even when she is annoying you through an entire episode. She has gone through hell to save ASR not once but twice. She had at one point sacrificed her life for Payal. She has taken care of Anjali like her own sister. Just imagine what she must be going through to see the entire Raizada parivaar broken. Even though it was never her fault, she was the one who had to bring the truth out to the world. Imagine, the courage and also the burden that sits on her soul. She will never entire forgive herself until Anjali forgives her. And this my friends will be the reason why she will decide to leave RM at some point down the road.😳

Pointers

1. Kushi will always remain the self sacrificing type. She will do her best to fix all the broken relationships inside RM. She will even go to the extent of sacrificing her life for the ones that she loves which includes Anjali. (Remember this for the future)

An episode that was absolutely beautiful. It made me close my eyes and sit silently for a long while. I did not cry. But I wanted to.

There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go. ~Author Unknown
The Raizadas have to accept it. Shyam is not a good person. He isn't. They have to accept it and move on. They were wrong about him and it was not their fault. They were taken on a ride and played with. Each and every single one of them. They have to learn from their mistakes and pick up the pieces. They have to let go of their love for him, simply because he does not deserve it.

Where there is anger, there is always pain underneath. ~Eckhart Tolle
Let's start with Akash. He is angry with Payal because he is hurt by the fact that she did not trust him enough to tell him the truth. You can say that Payal was unsure about his reaction. That equates to the fact that she did not trust him enough to believe in her and not trust her. This was her fear and he is hurt. He simply cannot believe that he had been so blind. He trusts her. But he is simply hurt and that feeling has morphed into anger. He and Payal had promised to always be honest to one another. Payal broke that promise. She meant well, but she broke a promise regardless.

I do not regret the things I've done, but those I did not do. ~Rory Cochrane
Payal. She regrets not telling Akash. She knows she should have, but she was scared. She did not know how he would react or even if he would believe her. She meant well, she truly did, but... However, she will not make the mistake of leaving Khushi's side, ever. She will always have Khushi's back. Always. She is every bit Khushi's rock as Arnav is Anjali's. Don't shake your head! She definitely is. She is Khushi's strength as well as her weakness.

Anger ventilated often hurries toward forgiveness; and concealed often hardens into revenge. ~Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton
Manorama Mami. She is pissed off at Khushi and Payal, and rightly so. She is expressing her anger at not being told the truth. But it will soon come to an end. Because those girls are honest, true and pure. She is simply devastated by what has happened and the page has to turn. She is hurt by the duplicity and by the hurt her family is suffering as well.

I believe that all wisdom consists in caring immensely for a few right things, and not caring a straw about the rest. ~John Buchan
Nani. She has always been firm about what's right and what's wrong. Nothing more, nothing less. She had placed Khushi on a very high pedestal since she had first met her and Khushi had retained that. She had been hurt by Khushi because of the hasty marriage because it was not the right thing to do and she had expected Khushi to have done better. She is not blind. She isn't. She is ASR's Nani. She knows Khushi is honest, true and just. She knows it. Did you see the way she had closed her eyes in pain when Shyam maligned Khushi? She couldn't bear it and felt the pain, every bit as much as Arnav, Payal and NK. She tried to comfort Khushi because she knows Khushi was telling them the truth. She knows that Arnav must have proofs and reasons as to why he chose Khushi's truth over Anjali's happiness. That is why she wants to know the whole picture.

With what a deep devotedness of woe
I wept thy absence - o'er and o'er again
Thinking of thee, still thee, till thought grew pain,
And memory, like a drop that, night and day,
Falls cold and ceaseless, wore my heart away!
~Thomas Moore
Anjali. She has lost her love within a blink of an eye. Her fairy tale has ended and her illusion has been distorted, letting reality sink in. She has always been frail and insecure. Her flashbacks have shown it all. Her first flashback is the same as Arnav's. Remember when Arnav broke down in his room after his first confrontation with Shyam? It is the same and because of that I am hopeful that Anjali will get her dignified due. She has to see Shyam in action to believe in his deceit. I remember in someone's post (can't remember whose though) that Shyam has to be caught red-handed. You hand someone proof and they still won't believe it. Anjali has to see it with her own eyes. She will. And when she does, her biggest heart-break will come from the fact that she had brushed aside her beloved Chotte and his Khushi's sacrifice for her. She will regret calling him "Arnav". He is her Chotte and will always remain so. He has had to regret not doubting Khushi. And she has to regret not doubting him and Khushi.

Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end. ~Author Unknown
Arnav loves Khushi. Khushi loves Arnav. They are both worried sick about Anjali. But they are somehow (not really) more worried about each other. Khushi is unsure of how to approach Arnav. She has never seen Arnav like this. Ever. Not during the time of their wedding (will get into that later). She is his only support right now. The only one. She knows she is needed by him as much as she needs him. She can't bear to see him in so much pain. He can't bear to break down because he knows she will break further. They can't bear to be apart, because together they are vulnerable, but apart their defeat is inevitable. They have to be together in this because they have to be each other's support.

Now for the episode analysis, i.e. what I thought of it.

The episode, for all intents and purposes reminded me of the episodes when Khushi and Arnav walked in hand in hand as man and wife.

That day:
Anjali ran after him, he shut her out.
Anjali cried in her room alone.
Nani and Mami supported one another.
Nani shunned Khushi.
Akash and Payal held each other's hands in togetherness.
Khushi did not confide in Payal.
Khushi and Arnav were apart and there was distrust between them.

Today:
Anjali shut him out.
Anjali still cried in her room alone.
Nani and Mami are still each other's support.
Nani comforted Khushi. Or at least tried to.
Akash is upset with Payal.
Khushi confided in Payal.
Khushi and Arnav are together, trusting each other blindly and are not afraid to shower their love on each other.

Arnav regrets the hurt his sister is going through. Not his decision. He did not regret marrying Khushi, because he was justified. He does not regret throwing Shyam out because he knows he is right.

But on the night of his marriage, he was alone. Truly alone. No one to talk to, no one to confide in, no one to express himself to. No one to comfort him, kiss him and tell him "it's going be be all right." He did not have a shoulder to lean on and give him strength.

Not today. Today, he has Khushi. She knows him through and through. She has suffered the worst at his hands and he knows it. She hasn't left him after that, she never will and he knows it. Today, he is not afraid to express himself. Note: expressing himself is not the same as breaking down. He is constantly letting her see his vulnerable side and is giving strength as well as receiving it.

It is the same for Khushi.

Khushi blames herself. You can see it in her eyes. When Anjali brushes Arnav aside, when Mami takes Mami away, when Akash shuns Payal, when she sees Arnav standing at the pool alone... She blames herself and I don't blame her. I would too if I were in her shoes.

Edited:
When they married, they were truly alone. They had no one. Now they have each other and they have their army and their support behind them. But that is irrelevant. They now know that their strengths lie in each other, as well as their weakness. They will have each other's backs while defending their love fiercely. They know what's at stake. Their slates are clean and they only have one slate now. They know their priorities. People are worried that Arnav will have to choose between Khushi and Anjali. He won't have to. Because Khushi will never ever let it come to that. This is Arnav's fear. That Khushi will leave him for his family.

Akash believes Khushi, Arnav and Payal. Mami believes them. Nani believes them. They do. Their behaviour says it all. They just need time. Shyam is an consummate master at playing with people and they are simply horrified at not being able to see through him. But their heartbreak stems from Anjali's heartbreak.

Anjali is in denial. I am quoting RebeccaDaphne because she has explained it far better than I ever could and I will save myself time and effort as she has done an absolutely brilliant job!

Five stages

1. Denial and Isolation, she uses this defence mechanism that reduces the initial shock, and conveniently blocks out the facts and hides away from the truth...we can see this in today's episode when she shuts herself in her room and se wants to be alone.

2. Anger, she directs this at those she sees as the ones she blames for her pain...she will resent her Chotey and Khushi...and maybe the rest of her family if they side with them

3. Bargaining... Doing something to regain control,...this is a normal reaction to overcome the feelings of helplessness and vulnerability...we may see Anjali doing this if she decides she wants to abort her child...it's a way of making her in control of her life.

4.Depression...knowing that it's happened and nothing can be the same again...the sadness but the slow realisation of the truth...

5.Acceptance...resisting this only prolongs the natural process of healing...she needs to let go of the love she has for Shyam...no one says it will be easy for her..but...getting the strength and support she needs from her family to help her accept her husband for who he really is will make her stronger and a more emotionally stable woman.

I think in the upcoming episodes we may see Anjali going through these stages...hopefully coming out stronger at the end.
Sorry it's mainly about Anjali!

Anjali's bubble has to break. And Shyam will be the one to break it. Then we will have Anjali's repentance for having shunning Khushi and Arnav, and the sacrifices they made for her. She will learn of their sacrifice from Shyam himself.

Loved NK as the silent witness to everyone's pain. He will be the reminder to Shyam's deeds when everyone will have forgotten about it (They will. This is still a Hindi serial, albeit a very good one, but one nonetheless). He will serve as the guardian because he has no emotional investment in Shyam. He will remember.

My favourite part of the episode:
When Arnav held Khushi's hand to stop her from leaving. His eyes simply said: "Don't go. Not you as well. Please no." Then when he hugged her, his eyes said: "Don't ever leave me. Please, not you. Anyone else but not you. I have lost Di, but I will die if I lose you." The way he gazed at her as she slept... his eyes said: "I will always protect you and be there for you."
Khushi cried for Arnav in these scenes. She shed the tears Arnav could not shed. She knew it, he knew it. Her eyes said: "I am sorry! For all the pain I've caused. I never meant to. Not for a heartbeat." When she held him back when he laid her on the bed, her eyes said: "You need it as much as I do. Please."

They were finally together in all the ways that counted. Hallelujah!!!

Whew!!! That has been among my longest posts to date I think! Loved every bit of the episode! Kudos to the entire cast and crew! The actors, director, the editors, every single one! I will not individually name actors because frankly what's the use? They were all superb and fantastic!

I will try to post the IPKKND essay I wrote for my GCSE English Language Coursework for the topic "Love or Loathe" for a TV programme. I can proudly say I got twenty out of twenty and I wrote that essay based on episodes such as these. My efforts were based on such episodes and for that I am over the moon. My friends and family were exasperated on me for my obsession over it. But I always defend myself and will be able to do so if I can see episodes such as these!

Loved the episode! It will do down as one of my most favourite and best loved episode!

Thanks!
Lots of love!

Genesis 2:22-24

Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man."For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
Today, that is exactly what Arnav did, he left behind Chotte and became a husband when he said he trusts Khushi. Today's Arnav and Khushi scenes were none like we have scene before, it wasn't the killer attraction, the simmering dislike, the deadly confrontations, the budding love, the hidden feelings, the boiling hate, the desperation to be together... NO ... that wasn't it.
Today Arnav and Khushi were rather understated as compared to what we have seen before, yet so poignant was this development that it literally blew my socks off!!! Today, they did ordinary things ...the wife gave her husband a cup of tea, the husband comforted the wife. Yet in absolute silence a new begining was made. Their love is like that flower that grows in adversity that is the most rare and beautiful of all ( Quote from Mulan)
Silently the members of RM suffer. PH today you showed us why you are the force to be recogned with. Today, you gave the audience an inside view of the pain that exists inside the hollow walls of the Raizada Mansion, but without the melodrama...Today, the audience had someone like them within the walls. Today, we were NK. Today, you showed me why I WILL tune in to watch your shows on the internet (though I was very sceptical when I heard the idea) simply because, you know how to reel me in and keep me tuned in for 3 hrs everyday. Yes I know the show is 30 mins but the discussion takes time.
The accusations that flew last week will have the reprecussions for the weeks to come, just like when a pebble is thrown in the water the circles reach all the corners of the pond. No relationship is safe, no not even Arnav and Khushi's.
Now for my favorite character ANJALI!!! (when did that happen)
People say Anjali lives in a fantasy world, I say ...does she really????
One person's fantasy is another reality. In reality, Anjali is pampered by her family, her brother adores the ground she walks on, her husband loves her ( WE KNOW WHAT A CREEP HE IS SHE DOESN'T!!! AND HE HAS NEVER, YES I SAID NEVER GIVEN HER CAUSE TO BE WORRIED). Today, she saw her brother become a husband in front of her eyes, it would have been a moment she would have treasured forever, if not for the fact that his act endangered her marriage. She stands there shocked at what happened.
Her husband and the doors closing on him. She hears the words but they don't sink in, then its too much for her to take, she faints. On waking up, her reality comes crashing in on her, she sees her Chotte trying to help her, but now she is not Anjali Di, she is Anjali Manohar Jha. She is strong.
The whole exchange between Arnav and Anjali passes on deaf ears, she neither wants to listen to him nor understand, all she knows is that her husband who has treated her like a queen has been thrown out like a common criminal by the person who is seeking comfort from her. Arnav lies down on her hand, like a child, instead of giving comfort he is seeking it (often happens in tough situations) but Anjali Jha has nothing left to give, she turns him out.
The last line from her confirms my thoughts, she says she cannot live without her husband. Simply words but earthshattering impact.
I began by quoting the Bible, and I end with the same quote, just like Arnav proved himself to be a husband, so Anjali must prove herself to be a wife, she must leave her family to become one with her husband, that is the meaning of marriage. It remains to be seen what will happen when she realizes that man she trusts and loves doesn't not deserve either.
Barun and Sanaya, the last 5 mins of the episode is the reason why you guys should do a movie together, I wishing I could say it was brillant, but that wouldn't nearly come close to describing it. They better damn win every best jodi award there is.
Daljeet, I always knew you are Anjali, noone can do her better than you. There are so many facets to Anjali that you so effortlessly bring out.
Karan, today I watched the show through your eyes your actions. For a goofy character you have transitioned into a sensitive and strong one effortlessly, well done
Jayshree T: Today you looked old and tired, just like in reality when things aren't going well the first thing I notice is how old people look, great job in the acting and make up
Uthashara (did I spell that right?): you are just spectacular, loved how you cried for your daughter, and how you didn't forgive Khushi even though deep inside you know it isn't her fault
Deepali: Loved your helplessness, you were trying to protect the family you explained to Akash, and your protective older sister who gave her shoulder to her younger sister.
Akshay: Loved that you were so angry that you told Payal off, how could she not tell him the truth.
Today this cast showed why Star and all the other award shows should have an ensemble cast award, just so that IPKKND can win.
Thanks guys for reading
This was my two cents for today
S
P.S. I don't normally hang out on the thread, so if you have in the past messaged me or spoken about me, I have no idea, please PM me if you want me to reply. Thanks for the support guys😊

They both know how much they need one another.

Loved the way Khushi held Arnav's hand, stopping him from leaving her side, and pulling his hand a slight bit to sit by her side. Keeping him beside her, after so many days and after so many misunderstandings, and pain. It was touching to see the love they shared, no words spoken, the eyes did all the talking. The hands, caring, gentle, loving' the protective, dependable hand of his nudges her to sleep ' knowing that his hand will always be there to support, guide, hold, clasp, pull, and stay with her whenever she needs him.

Khushi in white salwar kameez. Sanaya Irani always looks divinely beautiful in this outfit!! Plus, after a long time Symbolism ' white = purity, innocence, and Arnav kept his own medicine aside to accept and attend to Khushi!

ARNAV OUT OF THAT FILTHY, DIRTY VEST AND BACK IN HIS HAWT JERSEY!!

🥳

Beautiful...specially the parts above. Loved it. And Yes THE VEST😆 I am in party mood today🥳
