For me, Arnav was mum because:

1) Khushi asked him to give her the floor

2) He was waiting till the family sees what Shyam really is - he is not the soft-spoken, cultured guy he presents him to be

3) He was waiting till Khushi was done

4) He was waiting till he got his own ground, something he himself can prove - and of course, Shyam made the blunder of forgetting his conversation with Arnav after the terrace incident 😛

5) And anyways, he alwasy talks less 😆 .. he believes more in action and he was so in character in this regard all through

Oh God yesterday I watch these scene and the truth scene too.He got answer from snake's mouth itself.He asked why she didn't tell about snake before.He got answer because if she did Raizada's won't believe her and he will make 100 of stories.He got answer and all MU's cleared .
About his MUM because if he said something Di will be shattered and we can see he is going to hit snake when he used bad words to Khushi then stopped when he saw his Di's condition.
