I agree with everything you wrote. It certainly seems like a mutually understood silence between arhi as Kh has not once asked ASR to believe her which was her singular focus before the kidnapping. She knows that he does not need convincing, it is the rest and for them to stand behind him when the final verdict is given by him in his house, he needs everything out.
He is watching reactions, he is registering shyam reactions and lies one after another - and while he knows nothing about the will, kidnap or engagement - he knows that shyam did openly admit to loving kh while he was on that terrace and no one was around, that there is reason to switch the will because he had just altered it prior to being kidnapped excluding shyam and that kh has already told him about the engagement. He is waiting for Shyam to hang himself with his own words and then hopefully he will say why he thinks his jiju is a scumbag. It will have to come out that he knew about his wandering eye from the terrace but I guess ASR has to make sure that it all adds up before he thoroughly breaks his sister's flimsy mental stability.
But, while I understand all of this, this silence is getting ridiculously awkward because it is spanning over 2 days now and they are using the same damn stale close up shots that don't even match up to the direction the BD is facing in the scenes and I guess that's why I feel the whole confrontation is totally wonky. This PH is just horrible at planning and editing. Just waiting for thappad.
