SCRIPT FOR THE 4/5th JULY IPKKND

ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BODY DOUBLE

Arshad the director is holding auditions & he has a line-up of hopefuls that want to break into television in by being chosen for this coveted part that they saw advertised in the Indian Times. He has asked them all to dress in a soiled vest & black trousers & they are all stood there with their arms at the side & with excitement gleaming in their eyes.😳

"Right then" said Arshad " When I tell you ' all turn around & face the wall with your arms flexed to the side & have a really tense position". They all proceeded to do this & the director walked all along the ten hopefuls that stood with their back to him. Eventually he stood behind one of the hopefuls & asked if he was free the following day for about a day. The chap turned around really excited as he had landed the role ' his big break into TV. Everyone else looked at him with varying degrees of disgust, jealousy & envy.

Come the next day he arrived on set all worked up wondering whether his nerves could take the pressure & whether he had the bottle to survive the entire day without collapsing. Once again he was asked to wear the vest & black trousers. The director came up to him & asked him to walk onto the set in the next room. When he realised that he was on set with non-other than Jaishree T & Sanaya Irani who he had a crush on his excitement knew no bounds. He walked right onto the set .

"Right then" said Arshad what I want you to do is have your back to me & stand absolutely still & flex & bunch up your biceps a little. Do not look sideways & stand very still. Is that clear?" He then asked make-up to come in & place some gel in his hair & to scrunch his hair up a little. Admittedly he realised that this chap was not muscular & his hair was shorter & his face rounder but they would have to make do! At this stage the actor was really puzzled & wondered when he would be given his lines.

Instructions given to the camera man- " When Barun comes in we have him on sets for an hour so here are a list of expressions that we want you to take against that background in the living area- make sure that you take a variety of angles & take a few shots- OK!" So that is what he does as soon as Barun arrives as he is expected at the film sets of his movie within 90 minutes. He then proceeds to ask Barun to go through some expressions such as 'mild shock😲, surprise, exasperation, unease, bafflement to name but a few. As soon as these are in the can Barun rushes back out again.

Sorry 'people- I just wanted to write something funny🤣 (know that I am not very good) but as I watched today's episode it baffled me why Arnav just stood there throughout Khushi's tirade (when they showed close-ups of him & not his BD). I was completely baffled as it was so against his character to be silent whilst the drama unfolded around him. I would have expected him to ask questions & confront both Khushi & Shyam & especially put more effort to console Anjali😭. That is what ASR is all about. Instead he was shown as standing there just listening showing mild surprise, shock , bewilderment but just so QUIET. Completely against his character. Its quite sad really as this is pivotal to the plot & also reflects on his faith in Khushi. This was an important sequence & impact needed to be made in the true ASR style instead of which we had him as the silent bystander. Yes we know that he still has to be absent for his movie & that they had to use a BD. Honestly don't mind as at least we have him for more timely schedules!!!! I would also say that at this crucial stage his reaction to everything needed to be stronger😡. I reckon this will happen tomorrow now that NK has made his revelation & supported Khushi'.👏

Today's episode's accolade has to go to Sanaya & Abbas ' there was a real tension in the air & you could feel the sparks fly as everyone gathered around as all the facts came out surrounding the dishevelled appearance of Arnav. Brilliant acting by Abbas as once again he wheedles his way out of the accusations against him whist Khushi continues to site the case against him even though all around people do not believe her. Khushi all but came out with almost all of the truth ( but what is Payal going to reveal tomorrow) & Sanaya as always showed what amazing talent she has. Every excuse possible is pushed to the limit to defend him. NK comes in at the right time & for an instance we all thought that he was not going to give his support to Khushi. With this out in the open I hope to see some true reaction from Barun to the quality of yesterday's show ( Brilliant Arshi moments to be treasured & shelved & one that can be rewound again & again) where he shows angst for his sister & concern for his wife & anger towards his brother-in-law.

While I understand where you're coming from, and Barun might well have done what you said here-- I think it is good ASR did not speak up-- he does not have any solid proof, hasn't seen Shyam's face during his kidnapping torture. He is waiting and watching for his opportunity to strike at Shyam-- which will come when the Shyam-Khushi past will be revealed-- because Shyam has spoken to him about his love for Khushi... on the wedding night!

So then ASR can step in and do the slapping because he himself is witness to Shyam's attempts at bigamy.

But i would beg to differ her with u wee bit,...i actualy thought that his silence will hold weight for when he actually speaks...

1. he's been away for 15 days

2. he's heard from khushi that Shyam is the kidnapper...

3. the only person right now in his mind whom he can trust is Khushi...

4. his silence is letting him observe everyone very closely and asses every person's reaction to the debate unfolding infront of him.

And really we need the calculative ASR to win this...so its very important for him to understand all that has happend in his absense...

On the other hand,...it surely doesnt mean what ur saying to not true,...that could very well be the reason...but then again even if it is true,...i enjoyed the episode this way...

I also very much like the silent conversation btwn Arnav and Khushi as they looked at each other b4 going ahead with the conversation. As if Khushi is taking his approval b4 saying anything,...n Arnav silently giving her his approval to continue...

It was a very well essayed confrontation if u look at it closely,...amidst all the chao and drama,...their heart and eye shared lots of unspoken words,...

Jo baatein hazaroon shabd nahi bayaan kar patein, woh ek nazar ne bayaan kardi.

Thats the beauty of their relationship...

Hi Avni - No I like your perspective & I do agree with you to a certain extent. I don't mind the silence but in this case it was disjointed- what I mean by that is that they kind of shot around him - clearly they had shot these random expressions so that could be interspersed throughout in Barun's absence. I agree that with him silence is golden BUT the ASR character is that he would have spoken up at various times to calm his sister ~(look back on the many occassions when he would let nothing hurt her) or suppot Khushi. Expressions were good but random. I am over re-acting as usual because at the end of the day he is back & we will get the full "stylie" from here on in. Vasanti😆

The thing is that he knows that his Ji ja ji has possibly cuckolded his sister - he still does not have proof that Khushi did not rendevouz with him on the terrace- his protective spirits alone - whose strength we have seen on so many occassions would have made him speak up. Please don't mind - strongly opiniated as you can see!!!😊 What may be damning evedence will be the divorce papers that are in the bedroom!!
