HELLO!!!
I went away for the weekend and my favorite show turned into a Bollywood movie??? I had a WTH am I watching moment.Listen up CV's as it is I already spend way to much time on this ONE show! And I lead a fairly stressful life I DO NOT need you to add to it, at least warn us so we know what the hell is coming our way.
So this is how I really felt about the episode.
IT ROCKED!!!
Ok so I used to have the audacity to write to you and say this is the advice I have for you. All I have to say is "SORRY"😳. What you did today has never been done on Indian Television. It was mindblowing all the saasbahu loving audience are in for a rude awakening today, they are going to have to stand up and take notice. If they don't, then I'm sorry but there is no hope for INDIA whatsoever. So I'm guessing that you guys are ready for the top. I certainly hope so. You deserve to enjoy the very top spot for the trp charts.
I don't even know where to start today.
Brillant Scene 1: Shyam accusing Khushi of cheating him.
This scene was done to perfection, not only did Khushi need to see just how despicable this human being is, but the extent of his madness.
Brillant Scene 2: Khushi's confession
I won't lie I have been expecting this to come, what I didn't expect was for her to say, I can go lower then low for him!!! Sign of things to come? or are we done with the worst.
Brillant Scene 3: The car chase
Arnav singular aim is to get to Khushi, Khushi aim is to get to Arnav and the forces that are pulling them apart. Loved it because up until now all we saw is Khushi and Arnav trying their best to stay away from each other but the supernatural forces pushing them together, now the physical forces are keeping them apart.
Brillant Scene 4: Shyam stoops to another low
Shyam cannot believe just how badly Khushi treated him, not only does she not love him, she is going out of her way to save the man who he wants to kill. He does something implusively, much like the time he told Arnav he doesn't give a sh** about Rani Sahiba. He ties Khushi and leaves her to be trampled by her very own lover whom she said she would do anything for.
The most disturbing scene of the day was him driving off looking at helplessly lying in the middle of the road where she will meet her end, and still professing to love her completely. (Kakakakiran!!!!! anyone)
Then comes the
My HEART WAS IN MY MOUTH SCENE: So I saw the promo, Khushi lying unconcious in Arnav's arms.
I was convinced he was going to run her over, (dude maat karo na aisa, hum dil ke bade kamzoor hai) Seriously, I started bawling in anticipation. I would not have been able to take it. The car coming so close, the shot was brillant. Through all my tears and everything I was heaving a sigh of relief. Kya scene tha maaza aagaya.
Brillant Scene 5: The fight sequence
ASR stops and for a second thinks about what he should do. Dude he is a business tycoon yes he is going to weigh the pro's and con's of the situation. Loved that he helped set her free and fought furiously to get to her. Khushi struggled to get free and finally when she was free from her bounds she came charging towards him. I loved the little nuggets or brillance in the fight sequence, ASR putting his shoe on the car and pushing back. When he falls down he sees Khushi and the gust of wind shows him that she is ok, he draws strength from her, (loved the glimpse of Arnav here). Loved how she couldn't see him down and struggled harder to set herself free.
Then came the
MY HEART STOPPED MOMENT!!!
She is captured, he takes a beating but he wants her to be set free, they can't shoot him, his death needs to be accidental, so they beat him. She can't take it. She frees herself and runs towards him but is propelled back words.
THE OHHH NOOO MOMENT!!!!
She falls, the last thing on her lips is Arnavji, Time stands still, he pushes people out of the way to get to her, he can't see her. The gunda's catch him and he becomes the angry young man. They don't have a chance, he finally frees himself of them, but before revenge he remembers there are more important things like finding Khushi.
The TEAR DROP MOMENT!!!
The sun in the background and Arnav's profile in darkness, showing us just how dark his life would be without Khushi!!!! (Oh ho tissue box got over)
Here is how I judge a good movie in whatever language, if during those hrs I think of nothing else but the movie, that movie has successfully done its job of entertaining me thoroughly. Today, IPKKND had me glued to my seats and on a rollercoster ride, but please remember movies have a begining a middle and an end all in one, here I have to wait till tomorrow, thank God for the SBS clip or I would have gone mad waiting.
Appreciation Thread: ( Seriously Advice to CV's has become Appreciation Thread)
Abhaas Mehta: today you showed the world that you are no amatuer, you can rough it out with the big guns and be noticed. Today, Shyam was manical and completely believable. A man who can kill others for a girl, can kill the girl so she commits to another.
Sanaya Irani: Khushi loves Arnav and no one else. Ever time you screamed Arnavji, the fear for him and yourself was evident, I loved the scene where you were bound. Being a fan of hospital shows I know that actors have to work extra hard when they want to convey emotions with their eyes. You did so well it was fantastic, you were happy to see Arnav and then you realized he is going to run over you. Girl you are the other side of the coin to Barun, I swear if you don't get the same amount of accocalades as he does I will send hate mail to people. (Kidding don't have the time 😉)
Barun Sobti: Welcome back, now this is called an ENTRANCE!!! Today you showed us why you want to try Bollywood, today I saw the makings of a grand Bollywood entry. If you and Sanaya ever do a movie I would be down to watch it in the threatre ( PS NRI $$ to bank people). But seriously, the effortless transitions of ASR to Arnav and back, the helplessness and sheer determination was unbloody believable. Well done my bawy. WELL DONE!!! Kindly do not sign any more movies it will be the death of me.
CV's and PH: Ok yaar we know we owe you guys an apology for thinking you do things without planning, storyboarding and preparation, clearly there was a plan, it was the timing that we didn't know of. I'm very glad that everything came together oh so nicely. Also I hope you guys enjoy the ride to the top of the TRP charts. I don't know another show (thats because I don't watch other shows) who deserves it more,
Who ever does the music for this show: Listen buddy, aap kya A.R. Rahman ke cheli ho kya? I don't know of another music director who takes me through the emotions with their songs like him and now you. The music today was fanbloodytastic. It made the whole show even more intense. Well done!!!
Favorite Scene of the day: I know among the brillance I especially loved the flashback, Arnav saw all the times Khushi was in his life and now she is slipping (literally) away. I thought of the dialogue at the mandir where she tells him the day you realize that everything you have has been give to you by DM I won't be with you. The music made me sob, I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it now.
BRILLANT WORK GUYS👏👏👏👏. You have successfully raised the bar of Indian television.
