I am not sure that she is going to have any realizations soon. She is SP bahu after all where the female lead is never wrong if the righteousness can be established. Khushi is flawed just like Arnav and that is what I want to see and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will get to see her realizing her mistake.

P.S (bold) : Is this not the right time for Khushi to realize that she did a mistake by hiding about Shyam !? I think it is - for Arnav is kidnapped and the fact that he is hurt is there (blood). The writers are not exploring this side only.

I am giving papers the doubt because according to doodhs she has confided. But I still feel she could have shown NK the papers on her mobile 🥱

Yes Yes that is my point also...this track should have been about khushi's realisation but majorly it is about Arnav dhoondho abhiyan...I agree they need to show that too.. but this was very good opportunity to make emotional connect..she was more worried fr Arnie when she didnt knew where he was...and now when she knows that he is in danger..she has seen his blood...they didnt deliver a monologue of her worry..she seems quite normal about it..just considering it as clue...

Agree anna! I completely second u..we need to be convinced to get connected with her..post marriage days there was a kinda sympathy for this gal who out of a single mistake which assumed small created such a blow to her life..at least viewers POV. Now that she knew the reality ..where's the monologue about hers..where's the mentos moment for her to derive what she should/shouldn't do..

Same funds when applied with arnav,we can quote many monologues about how he misunderstood or was hasty n the good thing is viewers shown him taking corrective steps..

Hoila... seems like My post created a hallaboo discussion.

@anna khushi is still my fav character. But when it comes to judging a character you need to be fair and square na.😆. She was like a sweet little naughty girl. And now see I can not even connect with her. You know me, how I enjoyed her OTT. So my tolerance level is pretty high. But when it comes to deeds and actions, it has to be clear - handed for me to connect with the lead. (Thats one of the reasons I did not connect with ASR initially. For me i found him morally on a wrong side lot of times in the initial 10 months of IPK)

Now khushi,

My point is not that the character sketch changed or not. It has indeed changed pre and post marriage. And we can call it character growth or evolution whatever. But what comes to your mind when you think about khushi...'innocence' is the word for me and whole time i related with her because of that. Now, I can not see that element and sometimes i feel that she is digging a hole for herself by entangling in all the lies. Like the fairy lights 😆(arnav bitwa you can only save her😉).

From a normal viewer perspective, she is on the verge of loosing the edge, because of the points I mentioned.. Thats why I wondered in my post! Is it a conscious effort to entangle khushi in a mess so that arnav can rescue from the deepsh** later or Somethings are over looked just to keep the story moving?

it is writers fault Khushi is supposed to be vocal while for ASR his action n expressions speaks !

she is stressed too s o best way to get khushs plight is a monologue!

I have said this before too on REDUX.. I connect with Arnav naturally, but I always strive to understand Khushi... Arnav speaks less, yet I understand him whereas Khushi blabbers yet I fail to get her feelings... hmm
I think the person who sketched Khushi's character missed a little point there is a difference between being childish and child-like..

I was very excited about the marriage track, for I thought this will help me sympathise Khushi, which I had hardly done before.. but the track disappointed me when Khushi switched to OTT and my sympathy switched to Arnav...
Then when the kidnapping track started, I did feel good seeing the restlessness in Khushi, but that too didnt last long, because te 'TADAP' has been missing off late... now what I see is a CID officer trying hard to close Arnav's kidnapping case... the blood stains of Arnav on Shyam's shoes looks just like a clue to her and not once does she think, what if Arnav is killed?!?!

Everyday I watch the episode with a hope that today I can see Khuhsi's 'saansein rukhjaayegi' moment, but guess my wait will be a never ending one !!!

The problem lies with Sanaya,I guess.Maybe taking the show almost on her own for a month is taking a toll.But I've always felt that Sanaya can't emote.Yes maybe her character has been very bubbly,chirpy and she was never given too many emotional scenes..But I still am pretty surprised at the way she's giving her reactions to Arnav's kidnapping..The CV's must give her more scenes like-KHUSHI REMEMBERING ABOUT ARNAV,THEIR FIGHTS,THEIR CONVERSATIONS..This is pretty normal for a young wife..Then maybe holding Arnav's shirts,remembering about him..CV's need to give her such scenes..so she grows as an actor!!

@Riti : We agree on everything and I know it 😆 My point exactly - she has seen the blood on Shyam's shoes and the realization is not seeping in that she has done wrong. I agree with mami that she needs to be practical. But in the nights we need to be shown moments where she is emotionally drained - where she is feeling lost - where she is letting her heart out. This could have been HER track if explored properly.

@Teju : You know somehow I think the Creatives never mess with Arnav much! His character is retained and they manage to shelve the sympathy towards Arnav easily. With Khushi my sympathies were with her till the Holi days - but when it got turned into OTT - it automatically shifted to Arnav. I tried my best to understand her reasons - but I could not. Then again once in a blue moon - suddenly her feelings came out of no where. That is when people lost connect with the show. I need to see her understand her mistakes.

@Sree : I know all about your Khushi love 😆 😆 I never found ASR morally wrong persay - but wrong otherwise. I would add that especially after he fell for Khushi he was an escapist and nothing else. Khushi is not morally wrong for me now as well - she is just wrong. She tried to do a good deed and it back fired on her. She did not know that she was protecting the devil then and giving him chance pe chance. But now she can regret her decision and that is all I seek.

We all want Arnav's repentance and we know it will happen - but Khushi too has to understand her share of mistakes and repent for them as well. And till the realization of her mistake does not seep in - she wont be able to understand her role in this whole MU.

@Zooni : Bang on! Who sleeps! The creatives need to focus on Khushi more and get her feelings out so that we all can connect with her. I have started too off lately and that makes me happy. But I still need that pinch of regret in her for hiding Shyam's truth.

If the first word that comes to mind when u think Khushi is innocence ... then where has it changed ... yea sometimes innocence moves to naivet ... but thats another form of innocence na ?

Her Innocence makes her trust .. her innocence makes her impulsive ... thats not changed ...

My point here was ... I am probably right up there with u guys bashing The G Club ... but what we are unhappy with is the track ,... how it is moving ..her character has not changed from day one ... it hasn't evolved much i agree ..

we wanted a more mature Khushi ... but the track designed does not give her room for maturity ... so when she suddenly does something intelligent ( like taking the blood sample for testing ) ... we are confused ... but she has always been smart ( c how she got an ASR on his knees)

I agree with Anna .. that they have not showed her emotional status clearly ... now is the need for her OTT reactions .. & v r not getting them ...

The biggest problem is that the track has stretched ... to the absolute limits ... now u can't show so many reactions from her everyday ...they will be repetitive ... read end of last week & this weeks post of every1 ... its the same ... i know i write one too ...😉

Baruns extended absence has not been handled well ... i agree ... thats where all these questions are rising from ...

My point was only on her character sketch ... no ones sketch as yet has been hampered with ... thats the only redeeming quality of the team ...
