I dont feel the emotional connection here re Riya, something is missing. There has to be one scene of her at night, all alone, uncertain of her future, uncertain of his safety, opening up their closet, seeing his things and Memories come flooding and her breaking down. Of all the fights they have had and how she will give anything just to have him back around her.

And then vowing to bring him back.
