A really nice episode ' technically very sound ' very well shot sequences 'very slick editing ' extremely good camera work ' & an extremely tight script once again '

For me each episode these days is like an adrenalin rush ' through the episodes questions keep pounding at me '

Will NK believe in Khushi or will he not

Will Shyam fall for NK's trick wont he

Who is following Khushi into Anjalis room .. is it the dreaded Shyam or not

Will Khushi Find the elusive Key to the bag or wont she

So many questions ' in 20 minutes of action packed episodes '

All this so beautifully conveyed by the director today ( oh ok sorry Khan Sahab today)' it was an edge of seat kinda episode ' but an important episode ' as we now have the stage set for battle '

The battle of Good v/s Evil '.

The whole thing so beautifully & symbolically depicted by the Director & writer '.

The code to unlocking the nefarious plans of Shyam "666" ' The Devils no.

The background premise of the entire episode .. is Mata ki puja '

There u go GOOD v/s EVIL

In Hindu mythology '. Whenever a woman engages in battle for Right she is called Mata Ka roop or Mata ka avatar ' & today you saw how in every step that Khushi takes to fight evil .. to right a wrong Devi Maiyya is guiding & helping her '.Superb once again Gautam ' so simple but so effective

The race for the throne has begun '

For Shyam the Throne is Raizada Wealth & Khushi Kumari Gupta SR.

For Khushi .. it's the rethroning of the KING .. Arnav Singh Raizada

The warriors are all lined up ' ready to engage '

Today with the help of ur school time history & mythology lesson the creative team Simply put forth each of the main components of the battle

Before one engages in battle ' it is prudent for any leader to scope out the opponent ''. The leader sends out her most trusted Court jester to the oponents kingdom to unearth the strategy so that she may plan her own strategy '.

Why the court Jester '..

The court Jester ,, is a lovable character ' he is more times than not considered stupid ' he is always making people laugh with his foolish antics ' the court jester entertains ' his presence puts a smile on your face . '.But more times than not the Court Jester is a person with a deep understanding of human Nature ' a person who hides his deep intelligence under the cloak of extreme stupidity .. A court jester more times than not is the person one is most likely to confide in .. he is your confidant '.

The Court Jester today was Nand Kishore '. His stupidity will definitely outclass Shyam's cunningness ' yes ' but whats more ' NK is a an extremely perceptive man '. He has a deep understanding of human nature ' it dint take him long to understand .. without any obvious clues or proofs ' that Shyam was wrong & Khushi was right ' ( what an ally)

Then out comes the Knight

Khushi Kumar Gupta Singh Raizada ' the knight ' she is in the forefront of this battle ' not only is she providing the deepest insights .. she is also the one who will face all the action ' She will be the one to step out & lead from the front.. She will amass all her resources as time goes by & battle to reinstate her KING

The General:

Manorama Mami ' The General of the army '. She has the brain ' she has the cunning ' she has the ability to strategize .. she is also the person one will have to fall back on when front line strategies fail '. But most importantly she holds the trump card ' she holds the Kings highest regard ' her battle cry will be the final war.

The Evil ' no prices in guessing Shyam Manohar Jha .. the man who is almost without scruples .. the man governed by greed, EGO, & Lust ..the man who is sitting smug in his victory.

The KING ' Ofcourse again no price for guessing Arnav Singh Raizada '

Today the Creatives & the Director followed the simple saying Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication ' & we got an episode which all of us liked .. no loop holes ( magically the cradle was back in Anjali's room as well) & the message was clear for all to know'..

What Struck me most in the Episode today ;

Was Anjali's reaction to Shyam today ' & I mean not the just NO Trusting statement ' for me it was all in her expressions ' she was looking deep into Shyam;s eyes .. when she told him she doesn't trust him ' she dint once look away while he spoke ' she had a very firm voice when she disagreed with his lie '.. & once again in her no nonsense gentle yet stubborn way she commanded Shyam to do her bidding ' ( Once again raising Shyam babuas EGO & ire)

What did all this mean ' Anjali now suspects all is not well in her dreamworld ' but like the quintessential Indian woman .. she will maintain the facade of happy home ' Anjali knows her husband can sweet talk her ' she doesn't trust his words ' hence she looks into his eyes to know the truth '. One can seldom lie through the eyes when caught unawares ' & interestingly '. She refers to her baby to get Shyam to attend the puja .. ' Does she feel her baby is the only thing binding her husband to her ' does she feel the baby will keep SHyam in her life & hence is all the more precious to her? Just got the feeling " All is Not Well"

The other thing which struck me in the episode was Shyam Manohar Jha

He is turning out to be one cunning fox ' The creatives are having a field day with his character .. the moment you have him figured he takes a turn around '.

First we got a relaxed Shyam ' he was unsuspecting of NK & was completely foxed by Khushi ' then came the Blood stain questioning .. & u saw the guilty Shyam ' & once again a glimpse of the Monumental rage when provoked ' Then u saw the sweet talker who tried to lie his way out of a tight spot ' again here u glimpsed the irritation & temper ( but was controlled & masked)
( Interestingly both these times Khushi was watching him closely ' she will use these insights to engage him ' like I said yesterday she will play on Shyam's EGO, She will reignite his LUST ' & then play on his Greed to get him to fail)

Lastly one saw a SMUG Shyam ' during the PUJA ' the camera kept panning on Shyam ' showing an almost relaxed & smug smile on his face '.

Here in lies his first defeat'. He feels he is undetected .. he feels no one knows his truth. ' he is confident in his success '. He has it figured out ' whatever was stopping him to reach the wealth ( the will or its clause) has been figured out by him .. ( this will unveil very soon)' hence the move to the travel agent ' ( the precap all tie this up)

Herein lies the key to how Khushi will be able to manipulate Shyam ' he is almost assured of his victory ' In his mind he is KING ' now he will want to be generous to his inferiors ( see how he presented the kurta to NK saying keep it) ,,, he will want to line up his admirers around him ' people to fawn over him ' & he will want to own possess every thing or person his heart desires '.

Khushi ' go strike lady ' the iron could'nt be hotter than now '

The other thing that struck me was the withdrawl of Mami from the frontline battle today '. She will still play the role of General ' but will not get down into the battle field any more ' (maybe the full exposure of Shyam is not imminent ' yippee if such is the case)...

Don't know why but was really missing Arnav today ( phew finally missed ASR) ( humein bhi unki WHAT THE ki kami khal rahi thi)

' & that brought forth a plethora of questions '

There is a very popular saying in Hindi ' Marawa Hatti bhi sava lakh ka hota hai '

( meaning a dead elephant is also worth lakhs of Rs.) '...Don't know why today this saying was hammering in my mind ' While sitting to unearth the episode ' this is what I felt ' I understand the warriors ' but what about the KING ' him being in captivity cannot be his decapitation '' end of the line of engaging ' I think not ' I hope not '. I again want to see Arnav engage in battle ' he has to pay back with interest on all the boxes bestowed on him earlier this week ' so waiting & watching.

For me this episode was all about Simplicity .. simplicity in communication, simplicity in direction , simplicity is performance, simplicity in message , simplicity in its technical appeal '.

A lot of what i wanted to say today & what was shown today ... i already touched upon in yesterdays redux ...giving the link to anyone who wants a continuity.

In bygone days the mighty kings performed Shakti puja before they headed for war to invoke blessings of the divine mother to grant them victory. Now Khushi and Arnav are going to wage war against Shyam. So it called for a havan/puja. In the initial days of IPK, how many countless havans we have had. And there was a dry spell soon after the wedding. Since DM and Khushi were not in talking terms, we missed it. Now again we got to witness one!! Thanks Anjali. Its was a much needed one. For your chote and your baby. Raksha kavach.

In today's episode each and every character sans mama contributed something or the other. CVs cleverly eliminated mami from the equation for time being so that she will be there for the final terrace confrontation. Playing her part as Devil's advocate as Doods pointed out. Aakash confirmed this by saying Mate aap sab kuch jaanthi hai.

TightRope walk anyone. Or rather Highwire walk. Little bit you falter, your very bones will be crushed to pieces. You need to position one foot in front of another while on the wire. The support is drastically reduced. That is what Khushi is doing now. She is walking on a Highwire,blinkers on and her eyes, heart and mind focused on Arnavji. Usually a highwire walker uses a pole for support and balance. It distributes the mass away from the body of the walker. The result is less tipping. That pole is our Nanheji. He rightly pointed it to her how dangerous it was for Khushi to barge in on Shyam. And to imagine the consequences if it was actually Shyam and not Nanheji. He is her guiding her and being her support system. He has brought some stability in Khushi now. She can now discuss with someone about Shyam. Both are keeping an eye on his dealings. As they say two pair of eyes is always better than one.

Its such a wonderful feeling to hear Devi maiyya from Khushi. We were missing that since February. The mother 'daughter equation and understanding is something to reckon with. Awesome chemistry. The moment daughter calls for help, mother sends her resources. The moment daughter is in danger, mother signals her. (I really hope our scatter brain Khushi grasps it).So far so good. Its doing wonders.

War declared . Divine blessings invoked. The conch has been blown. Soldiers in position. As they say

"Truth is mighty and will prevail."

We know who the winner is here. But at the cost of what is to be seen. (My votes are on Anjali).
