Khushi and Arnav are just like those fireflies.

Khushi has always been full of light even in the darkest of circumstances. Her inner beauty shines through when all the chips are down, she draws energy from herself to combat the evils and dangers, and she keeps her optimism burning even in the bleakest situation.

ASR and Arnav. One is the exterior mask, while the other is the hidden light. ASR was the tough personality that instilled fear and awe in almost everyone. A man who was firm about his decisions, a no-nonsense attitude, a man who snubbed emotions, kept a tight reign over feelings and for whom profits, deals, winnings and success were all that mattered. Arnav on the other hand is the boy who was lost during his wrecked childhood. The boy, thrust into sudden responsibility hid himself in a corner of ASR, and relegated himself to being invisible within ASR's skin.

However, unknown to ASR, the true inner light of a person can't be overshadowed by even the most dominating exterior persona. The little boy inside ASR shone like a beacon of light every now and then. There were flashes of him, glimpses of him ' and these were all noted by Khushi.

He hits her in the head and cradles her in his arms. He buries her in hay and kisses her on the forehead. A kiss on the forehead denotes "Forever, you will be mine" and a kiss on the neck denotes "We belong together." Arnav meant these two sentences and vowed to protect her no matter what the cost. She is his for evermore and he believes that they belong together.

This scene reminded me of the cremation of a dead human being. You would bury the person with hay or a time of fuel and set it alight. In hinduism, the corpse is dressed in white. When Khushi wakes up, she runs around the area and comes back and clutches the pot in which Arnav has brought her the firefly. That pot reminded me of the pots used to house the ashes of a cremated corpse.

[DIV]This scene suggested to me the death of all the mistrust, angst and fear of unrequited love in their relationship and the rebirth of faith, trust and love between them. They have found their purpose and their drive.

Sanaya has always been weak with desire expressions ... so today Mr.Khan u highlighted that for her audience ... instead of downplaying the same ...
