I have always felt sorry for this side of ASR (Ok I have been mad at his treatment of Khushi. But that's another story and don't get me started! But today I have thrown away the scorecard. Warning it will be back!)
But this guy has shouldered way too many responsibilities.
He has watched out for everyone to the extent of being the head of the family.
Being orphaned at a young age and with the responsibility of a crippled sister, he probably had no choice but to grow up fast.
Anjali cares like a mother for him. But she leans on him for support. She smothers him with care but is unable to be the one who carries his burden equally.
The rest of the family is almost in awe of him and fears him and lives off him. He doesn't get strength and complete love from them.
Today when Khushi hunted him down and gave her love wholeheartedly to him, I felt happy for this man.
At last he has someone to watch out for him.
Someone who just doesn't fuss over him, but fights for him and with him.
Someone who is his equal in pain and joy.
Someone whom he can call his own and just share his burdens with...
ASR came home today in Khushi's arms...something he has never found in his responsibile and overcrowded but lonely life
I wanted to add, I feel he always thinks he is not lovable because he is so stern and ruthless. Today Khushi proved to him how lovable he is despite what he himself believes (I have always felt he thought Khushi preferred Shyam to him because he is so rigid and today she bust the myth)
