Part 60:

(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

I am Yours and You are Mine!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Khushi thought that she found Arnav and Arnav thought that finally Khushi was really next to him, they realized that they were close yet very far.. separated by the sturdy metal grill on the ventilator window. Arnav convinces Khushi to let go of his hands so that he can break open the grill to be able to come to the other side...

Today saw the most magical moments of Arnav and Khushi's declaration and acceptance of love for each other for the first time... without any words...without any hesitation..any doubts..

Arnav pulls the rope through the grill in an effort to be able to remove it.. Khushi watches him.. Both their faces soft.. relaxed... Arnav asks Khushi, "Khushi, you said that you knew that I was in trouble...how?" Khushi looks at him.. his phone call to her and the unexpected "I love You!" flashes in front of her eyes... Arnav's soft gaze focused on her face.. Khushi looks down for a second..her eyes well up again..a tear trickles down her face... and she starts saying, "Woh.. that... you called and.." All of a sudden a loud noise interrupts them.. makes them realize that they are still not out of danger..

Sharp minded Arnav, says to Khushi in his matter of fact voice, 'Khushi, get down! " " Fast..." Then he clenches his teeth and says with an urgency in his voice, Khushi, get down soon..right now!" Khushi does not argue, nods quickly and gets down..settles herself on the ground in a corner. Arnav jumps down to his side. The kidnapper with a tattoo on his hand comes in..says to her in a teasing voice, "Now let go of the anger... you did not even eat it yet! Are you fasting...? Who is it for..tell me! " He walks over, grabs the thali..plate..says, "Come one, I will feed you!" Arnav jumps back to the window..subtle anger on his face..anticipation of bad behavior from the guy evident in his eyes. The tattoo guy sits down next to Khushi..offers her a bite.."Come on, have something from me!" Khushi shoves his hand..feels uncomfortable.. Arnav watches through the ventilator window... disgust evident in his eyes for the guy.. The guy starts eating food and says, "No problem, I will have it! ..Otherwise, it will be a waste!" as he licks his fingers, he asks Khushi, "Now tell me why were you following me?" Places his hand on Khushi's shoulder.. Arnav now really angry...Khushi pushes his hand away from her shoulder, gets up and starts looking for a way to escape.." Arnav's face changes to the one with increasing anger as the guy gets up and leaps towards Khushi. He tries to corner Khushi. .. says to her, "You cannot escape from here!" Arnav feels Khushi's restlessness.. his anger mounts...his jaw and face move with tremors as he tries to control his mounting anger with every advancing foot of that guy towards Khushi... Khushi scared, tearful.. keeps walking backwards till she hits a stop.. Arnav closes his eyes to regain control on himself... The guy tries to reach Khushi, she waves her hand, he says with a mean smile, "You still upset with me because I hit you earlier?" And makes another advance towards Khushi, .. Arnav loses it, screams with clenched teeth warning the tattooed guy, "Don't you dare touch her..don't!" Startled the guy looks around, finds Arnav at the ventilation window.. Arnav removes the rope threaded through the grill, throws it on the floor and goes at the window grill with a vengeance! Pulls the grill out of the frame in one piece. Jumps through the window on this side and what ensues is an intense physical fight between the two guys.. Khushi's jaw drops open, unable to voice any words.. till Arnav gets hit buy the guy.. then she screams..."Arnav ji!.. Arnav ji!.." She cannot bear to watch him get hit. Then the scenario changes as Arnav takes control of that fight... Arnav starts hitting that guy mercilessly... he insulted his Khushi! He dared to touch her with his filthy intentions... "How dare you? ... How could you muster so much courage?" he keeps saying as he hits the guy.. Khushi finally screams, "Arnav ji!.. Arnav ji, leave him alone!.. Leave him alone..." That voice stops Arnav's angered hand.. He gradually controls himself!

(Author's Note: The final shot where Arnav holds his hand from hitting against the guy - is brilliantly shot looking into the camera! Lights.. camera.. and action.. all almost perfect! Kudos to the team!)

The Hug that says it all - the Magic: The tattooed guy lies unconscious on the floor.. Arnav looks up towards Khushi... Khushi's eyes tearful.. afraid.. but thankful towards Arnav.. they look at each other... as usual, first question Arnav asks in his soft voiced caring, "Are you alright?" Khushi vigorously shakes her head, "No...!" Arnav's face depicts worry, his eyes have questions, "Why? What.." What's wrong?" Khushi's tears start trickling down.. she bites her lower lip briefly.. and comes running, and drapes her hands around Arnav's neck and hugs him tight...Arnav almost loses his balance briefly, gets pushed with the force she comes to him...Khushi's hug tight.. her eyes closed.. hands wrapped around Arnav's neck and back.. Arnav's heart just feels her... his hands lift gradually and embrace Khushi pulling even closer to him in a tight hug...both the yearning souls finally meet... a relief shows on Arnav's face buried underneath pain.. the pain of such a long wait... pain inflicted by unpleasant memories...still alive somewhere.. Being in each others embrace..their hearts beating together... Khushi and Arnav.. Arnav and Khushi...








Khushi and Arnav... go down the memory lane.. without speaking a word, without looking at each other.. their eyes closed...their touch speaks to each other.. their hearts able to communicate... simple embrace changes into lover's embrace in no time...Khushi's bright smile..breaks on Khuhsi's lips.. as she caresses Arnav on his back and cradles his head pulling him even closer..with such immense affection that only a lover can give to another... My heart heaved a sigh of relief when Khushi made the first move to run into the arms of Arnav...! No better way to say, "I love You!" without any words... her touch, her faith, her yearning.. says it all to him.. Arnav reciprocates each and every feeling, each action... together. they made me miss many many heart beats... made me forget to breath...When the flicker of smile appeared on Arnav's face.. I was grinning shamelessly... When Khushi pulled him closer after cradling his neck and head... I felt the hug get tighter... and I forgot to breath... I do not know if I blushed or not then... but now I am blushing...It was Khushi and Arnav hugging for the first time as first time lovers and communicating their love for each other without saying a word.. going down the memory lane without looking into each others eyes for the first time... their relieved faces imparted peace to me and my heart started beating again...This one hug was well worth the wait...! The memories.. started with unpleasant on where Khushi got wet in the rain and ASR hurt her by a holding her arm tight, which will eventually become his signature style!.. ASR wrapping the bandage on Khushi's wounded ring finger at the temple...sorts of a substitute engagement... Arnav removing the broken glass of the bangle from Khushi's wrist... Khsuhi's bumping into Arnav with getting her earring stuck in his jacket!... there first fall together in a very intimate fashion in the store room... A 'tangled' Khushi with all the Diwali lights.. and Arnav untangling those in a very romantic fashion... Arnav cleaning dirt from Khushi's eye.. making her a breathless beauty..and the most romantic one.. Arnav placing payal on Khushi's ankle in a gentlemanly but lover's manner! Then the near Kiss on Diwali night... their first passionate dance and passionate touch during 'Teri Meri' where their touch to each other spoke millions of words... Arnav's fist kiss to Khushi on her temple...They feel each other, as they remember all these sweet instances from their past that they never acknowledged to each other...Wow, these two have had so many romantic moments..and beautiful ones.. this is while they have been fighting like cat and mouse all the time.. Now in Love, what are we in for?

The magic spell breaks with a loud noise of banging a door open! Khushi's eyes go wide with fear..Arnav's sharp mind immediately comes back to his senses.. they both look around.. no one is seen... Arnav quickly thinks, grabs Khushi's hand and they both take off! Not a single word spoken all this time! But their action ,match each others.. perfectly well!






And the chase begins: Khushi and Arnav run through wooded areas, hand in hand.. kidnappers chase them .. they have a vehicle,, they have wrist watches.. firearms... cell phones.. etc.. Arnav and Khsuhi manage to hide in a spot after a long chase.. The kidnappers aptly conclude that they must be hiding somewhere close by...Arnav can see the chasers... his gaze comes back to Khushi.. he realizes that she is looking at him with much concern.. Arnav becomes restless and sad.. Khushi reaches for his hand... gently rubs it.. says with tearful eyes, "Thank God, you are fine... It has been so many days..You have no idea..how I.." she breaks down in tears, her voice heavy.. Arnav says, "Khushi... Khushi.." "I was going crazy by the minute.." Khsuhi says. Arnav cups her face, says softly, 'Khushi, it's OK ...relax..." goes to wipe off her tears... Khushi immediately notices the wound on his right hand...that he sustained while removing the grill! :"This injury.. you have an injury to your hand!" she says loudly, Arnav closes her mouth physically by placing his hand on her mouth...'Shhh,,," is back with all his love... The chasers follow them closely.. They finally spot Arnav, keeping an eye on them.. Immediately the search team locates Arnav

Best Hug of the Decade:

By the time the chasers get close, Arnav and Khsuhi disappear... in fact they fall and seek shelter underneath the cardboard boxes, hidden, in each others' arms .. in a tight embrace! Just the way Arnav holds Khushi close to him, keeps her face away from the chasers...uff..









Arnav holds Khushi close and tight.. Khushi holds Arnav's shirt tight.. her eyes closed.. safe and sound in her beloved's arms.. Arnav's face peaceful with Khushi in his arms..hold each other tight.. their hearts beating close to each other... they realize.. how close they are .. gradually their faces pull away just to gaze in each other's eyes...they feel each other's breath.. they get lost in each other's eyes.. Arnav keeps his arm wrapped around Khushi, hold s her close to him, as their eyes speak to each other...finally they are comfortable in each others arms, no one is in rush to break the hug...The footsteps of the chasers' break the spell! Arnav quickly pulls Khushi close to him as he keeps Khushi's face hidden from them.. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! When Arnav pullled her close and tucked her in his arms to keep safe.. my heart missed another string of beats...As they pull away briefly to look at the chasers and then Arnav pulling Khushi back in a tight embrace to stay low on the ground.. Arnav did this so many times that my hearts went "Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak.." You get the picture! They made such a pretty pair!

Just then the tattooed guy joins them. Also receives a call from their boss! Their mandate is to find both of them!









How much I care! :Khushi and Arnav again take off.. on the run...they get in a wooded area.. Hand in hand they run.. .finally seek shelter next to a tree.. Many sharp barren tree twigs dig into Arnav's flesh in the back hurting him. Khushi can feel his pain.. Arnav asks for her phone.. Khushi tells him that her phone was taken away by the tattooed guy! Arnav... thinks.. hummm.. think hard, ASR! As he stands up slowly, Khushi reaches over the top of his head to prevent him from getting hurt.. but in the process she is hurt.. back of her hand starts bleeding at the site of injury...Arnav tells Khushi to remove her hand.. she fiercely refuses! He says, "Khushi, remove your hand.. I do not want you to get hurt because of me" he holds her wrist to move her hand away.. Khsuhi keeps her hand right there and says, "Then what were yo doing?> You did the same thing to save me...You got hurt" there eyes speak volumes.. Moments of intense concern shared in the past for each other flash back in their minds... Arnav grabbing Khushi just in time to save from getting hit by a car... Khushi staying up for Arnav to care for him when he was sick... Arnav rushing to get Khushi out of the crumpling house just in time,.. Khushi and Arnav.. Arnav and Khsuhi.. . communicate via their eyes.. the concerns they have for each other... their love for each other.. their worries for each other...Nothing proves better than mellowed eyes of Arnav.. he knows how much Khushi cares about him!

They continue on the run.. till after the night falls.. The chasers keep them on their toes..they locate a small hut like house in the woods.. they seek shelter in the hut.. they do lock the door...after them. but.. the blood form Khushi's hand has smeared on the door at the entry way...











Untold Emotions:


Arnav and Khushi.. finally meet.. they have fallen in each other's arms numerous times before.. Khushi even ran to Arnav and hugged him in the hospital but...Arnav did not reciprocate even that feeling then...Arnav said, ' I love You" on the phone.. Khushi never said anything to Arnav to that effect... BUT the way Khushi hold his hands across the grill.. the way they look into each others eyes across the grill... is as intense as Khushi's initiative to hug Arnav with all her love...to love and to be loved...she says not a single word but her actions and her touch.. her melting in Arnav's arms.. depicts her love for him..

Arnav completed the hug.. with same intense love and affection... both their hearts were at peace..when they were in each others arms..When Arnav holds Khushi tighter to hide her from the chasers, his small moves show how much he cares, how much he loves her!
