I have loved reading this Geet & maybe more so because you said it was a true story, very heart-wrenching but out of all of it what I don't understand with such strong emotions & it seemed like these emotions could have been on both sides isn't it worth finding out what was there if their could have been a future?????

If neither ever communicated what they felt then how do they know it was wrong or never to be???

If it was to do with ambition then what is to say they couldn't have been ambitious together????

My motto is always that life is too short to not enjoy it & be happy or to take chances!!!

My friend was only 29, completely healthy, the life & sole of the party, a big joker and friends with everyone, in fact in his eulogy my words expressed how a single person could never be in his company without a huge smile on their face as he always had that effect on you.

He dropped dead suddenly, there was a ticking time-bomb in his brain, it had been in their very deep down, all his life but nobody ever knew, until the aneurysm burst & killed him instantly!!! His life support was switched off the day after it burst and on that day he had been married for exactly 4 weeks!!!

It further re-enforced my motto (made me sit up & take notice of my life again) that life is too short & no one knows when it will be wiped out; in a matter of seconds he was gone!!!

So I love the story but wish either of them had actually done something about it, even if they got a knock back from the other as that way they would not always question during the rest of their life what could or would have been if they had taken the chance to see where it could have led!!!

awww geet, this is such a touching story.. 😳 when even the best laid plans can go awry, moments and only lovely, beautiful moments are the only things that stays with us forever.. And cherish them we must..

Although, i must say, i believe in the adage 'carpe diem' - Always live for the moment.
