In this situation Khushi his love, hugging another man who's his sister's husband is IMPURE.

I have a feeling he thinks he just walked in on them hugging but assumes that they have done more which he hasn't witnessed? and then if he's assuming she's done more with a married man then to him she would be impure?

Hmm well it should be the same for both male and female in my opinion. In the case of the what ASR saw and heard, i'd say it's mainly cos Shyam is married (and that too to ASR's sister whom he's intensely protective about) and he also heard her tell him to leave her.

The problem is that he is ultra sensitive when it come to Anjali and also that she is the reason behind his Di's sadness and He thinks that she broke a very precious relation while still acting very sweet to the family.

Even today when he told her the truth and asked her for explanation, I think he would have kind of forgiven her if she had accepted her mistake(from his point of view), but instead she is defending herself and weaving stories, coz he is very sure of what he heard ad saw...

Again, the last para was from Arnav's point of view...coz usually people tend to get more angry when the accused is trying to cover up thier mistake as opposed to accepting and seeking forgiveness.

I know what you are saying but arnav and la were in so called relationship although he didn't loved her that was different case and in here shyam is a married man so he thinks khushi hugging him and telling him to leave his di was her love for shyam that's why he called her character less who is having affair with someone else's husband which is not true there's nothing to do with gender

judging Arnav and Lavanya's relationship, it was hinted that they were in a physical relationship but they stopped with nani roaming around 24/7 because remember there was this one scene where Arnav was like we can't kiss, nani will come.

Its this notion in his mind that Khushi is a cheap gold digger who is out to have an affair with his BIL. The hug is only a symptom of the disease that he imagines khushi has, a kind of final confirmation for him that indeed Khushi and his BIL are in a relationship.

I don't think if Shyam had hugged Khushi in public, in front of families, ASR would have thought twice about it. And of all the mis-characterizations of ASR or Khushi, i get it that ASR does not think khushi is impure because of the hug, on the contrary, he thinks she is impure because she has this affair with his BIL, therefore, the hug is imprinted in his mind.

I think it angers him because he knows Khushi's ideals won't allow her to touch a man, unless she feels something for him. So that hug explicitly says a lot to him in his head...

Rima..that terrace hug was followed by those lines "Chod dijiye anjali ji ko.." that has tagged his mind and intellect.
